We only stayed one night. It was well worth the money we spent for a bed a breakfast. BUT we would most definitely get a better room next time. Not much space at all. We were upset that the TV didnt work :(

Dark room with court yard view. Aircon noisy. Asked them to change the room,which they could not do. Food,not what you expect from a 3 star hotel. Breakfast is a disgrace compared to Tsogo sun or Protea hotels. Very bag experience. Never again

Traditional style hotel, with a friendly welcome

Our one night stop was very enjoyable. Quiet rooms which were clean and tidy. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food and service were great. Breakfast too was really good, served in a lovely central courtyard, or in the restaurant.

It is not modern, but fits in with the history surrounding building. Very conveniently situated, friendly staff. Very good value for money. Clean and well kept rooms.

Great location, great service but small room
Lovely premises and a great restaurant on site.

Staff were amazing - so thoughtful and helpful. The hotel is lovely - very old and full of character with very comfortable accomodations. It's very conveniently located so we were able to park our car and walk everywhere.

We stayed 2 nights in a small double room- & it was small. But we thought it a very good deal for a place like Stellenbosch with so much to do, as it was fine to just sleep. The small doubles are in the old part of the hotel, so lots of character, an attic room really. The staff were very good, & nice to have parking in a central area, was a bit of a squash though, even with our tiny rental.

The Hotel is situated on Dorp street within easy walking distances of places of interest. It has underground parking which makes it easier to access as parking is a HUGE problem in Stellenbosch. The receiption and service is friendly and effectively. The rooms are nice and clean with TV and place to work (Laptop). The breakfast was plain but good. The Hotel has a very nice "old charm feeling" and the tables on the sidewalk infront of the hotel is a good place to sit and enjoy a tee or drink while watching the people go by. It has a very nice pub.

we loved the location of the hotel as it sits in the middle of the city. the check in service was real quick. the only problem was we have to ask the staff at the reception every time we liked to get our car out of the garage.
