you pay for what you get
close walk to river, friendly staff

. Whilst the room looked clean and was in OK location (to the side of the town about a 5 min walk to the river) we did have a few issues. Firstly we were on the top floor no lift so had to walk... anyone who has been to Cambodia in April/ May knows how crazy hot it can get! On the plus side we had an amazing view over Kampot. Bed was OK (hard but I'm use to this). Facilities in the room very basic... bathroom is more a wet room. However we don't expect much for a budget hotel. Our main issue was when we woke up... my partner said what the hell is this (looking at a creepy crawley) we lifted the sheets ! We had been a bed bug buffet! We caught a few of the critters went down to reception and after about 15 mins of the staff acting we googled the bedbugs, all of the sudden they were apologetic. After a bit of negotiation they ended up refunding the 2nd night... I did feel sorry as they had to refund more than what there standard room rate was.

Over priced hotel
Staff spoke good english, house keeping was good

We thought this hotel was over priced. The room was very small and the bathroom tiny. The waste water from the hand basin just emptied on to the floor so the bathroom was always swilling in water. This was not a plumbing error... It was designed that way. House keeping was very good, we had sheets changed every day.

Clean and convenient
The staff were lovely, the situation was great and it was lovely and quiet

I was delighted with this place. It was clean and ideally situated for exploring Kampot. There were good coffee shops within 5 minutes for breakfast, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. My only criticism is that I had to go out into the corridor to get a good Wi-fi signal......not a major issue!

The staff was friendly, the room was alright, decent location

All and all this is a decent option for the area. The guys working there were friendly and helpful. Our room was larger than expected and quite clean. Although it was very very hot and the small fan maybe wasnt enough for that time of year. There isnt much going on in Kampot so make sure you have a good plan.

Palatial room in convenient location
Location near a lovely bakery and good coffee house, friendly staff

Staff were helpful and friendly, Had a few plumbing issues which were fixed quickly. Lovely bakery / ice cream place down the road where everything was really tasty.

Take a walk down towards the river and you'll find a lovely bakery / ice cream place. The food and staff there are excellent, especially Mary who was taught to bake by a French chef.
Turn left towards the old market and you'll find an Aussie run coffee / roastery, lovely staff, great coffee didn't get time to eat there but menu looked good.

Good place
Nice view, quiet surroundings

stayed 2 nights. they gave me a good room with great views over bokor mountain. the place is new and good value. both room and staff were pleasant.

Check out the salt fields. Cross the old French bridge out of town and take a left soon, cross another bridge and go south. You can go around the fields. look for places where they are working to get a look inside the barns. Nice experience

Large clean room, lots of natural light

This is a decent little guesthouse offering very good value for money, and located in a nice spot close to riverside and the markets. Room had 2 large windows and was very bright and airy. AC was a little noisy but nice and cold. Wifi was decent and TV was also good. Bathroom functional. Overall not a bad stay here and would recommend if your budget is stretched.
