excellent,the staff were very friendly,and spoke excellent English.The breakfast was delicious,a good start to the day.As the hotel was only 5 minutes walk from the promenade,which was lined with good ,cheap restaurants, it made our choice of hotel justified,and we were completely satisfied.The shops and big market is within easy walking distance.

Elegance with a smile

My stay at this pretty and inviting Hotel was brilliant.
Despite arriving later than expected the lovely Manager soon had my return trip to Phomn Phen sorted for the next day.
It was a fleeting trip and I managed to pack it with some wonderful sight seeing.
I am heading back to Kampot next month and will definitely stay at the Columns again.

The hotel is charming with attentive staff but there were some problems. The hot water in the shower is spotty and the pressure is weak. The internet went down for a long period one evening and the service at breakfast on my final day was exceedingly slow even though there only three tables that day to serve. Perhaps it was because of the New Year holiday but they seemed to be over their heads.

Excellent stay. A quiet spot close to the river.
The staff was excellent, the rooms large and comfortable and it was in a quiet location.

Very enjoyable stay. The staff took care of everything I needed from the moment I arrived. They arranged transportation in the morning at a great rate for a private car.
