Very good stay with excellent staff,location and views but the room service food and wine were not so good.
The wine which was sold as Australian was in fact Chinese.

A 5 Star Hotel
Check In/out was a breeze, the staffs was very polite and attentive

My 4 nightes stay at Intercon was great. The location is just in front of the Olympic yacht club, good surroundings with a few small malls within walking distance. There are also two major shopping malls just five mintues walks from the hotel. The hotel staffs, including the ones at the restaurents are great. Rooms are big with daily complimentary fruits and a pillow menu.
Only complaint I have is the air conditioning in the room. It is somehow very stuffy and too warmth for me; can't adjust thru the remote as it seems to be centrally controlled.

Friendly, sophisticated service in a fabulous property , which is next to Olympic marina center .
Access to the Club Lounge makes this a fabulous place to stay, and their staff are great.
In particular , I will like to compliment club lounge staff , Leon liu and guest relations officer , Cici You for providing dedicated and attentive service to us during the two nights stay .
Additionally , will like to thank the aircon uncle ( very friendly ) who visited our room (1908) on 23/2@ 12 plus am to adjust the room temperature and also the two ladies who delivered the birthday cake in the late evening to our room .

The service is on par with 5 star hotels and the facilities are great too. We signed up for Club Intercontinental which is an extra +15% service fees a night--but this granted us breakfast (not just continental), afternoon tea (which was great!) and internet. If paid separately, it would be more than for sure. I wouldn't say this hotel is best value for money since it is pricey, but it is good value since we had a great experience.

having stayed in the intercontinental qingdao a second time, i'm pleased to note that the service and quality / cleanliness of the rooms remain consistent. the style adopted by this hotel remains a level above the older hotels in qingdao.

this was our first visit to qingdao and this hotel was recommended by our supplier. a very plesant stay and trully excellent staff. i have to especially mention the concierges jason and light. we had become seperated from our luggage in guangzhou because of a late connection and they helped us through this. also when received my laptop had disappeared from my bag which necessitated a rather long visit to the local police station for which light accompanied me in his off duty time - and wouldn't take any compensation from me for that. all really beyond the call of duty.

Smells fantastic when you enter the hotel

the hotel ambience is fantastic and really feels and smells good when you enter. the staffs is also helpful and willing to help. we stay at the lobby for bar music and relax with wines, very good service and clean environment. will definitely return for holiday with family.
