พนักงานเป็นคนอินเดีย การบริการไม่ดีเลย แถมมีการต้องจ่ายเงินเพิ่มอีก 100 เหรียญ แถมต้องรอลิฟต์นานมาก มีแมลงสาบด้วย ไม่อยากไปพักอีกแล้ว

ไม่มีป้ายชื่อโรงแรมทั้งหน้าลิฟท์และหน้าประตูเข้า
โรงแรมอยู่ในทำเลดีย่านการค้า มีWiFiตลอด

หายากมากไม่มีป้ายชื่อโรงแรมทั้งหมด ยังกลับกำลังเปลี่ยนชื่อโรงแรมใหม่ ลักษณะตึกเป็นตึกแมนชั่นเก่า 16ชั้น มีลิฟท์2ตัวเป็นลิฟท์ฝั่งเลขคู่กะเลขคี่ ลิฟท์ช้ามากรอนาน ใต้ตึกเป็นล๊อคขายของของแขกผิวดำ น่ากลัวนิด จองแบบที่พักแบบมีตู้เย็นชั้น11แต่พนักงาน(แขกดำ)บอกว่าเต็มให้ลงมาพักที่ชั้น9แทน ไม่มีตู้เย็น+ทีวีเสีย

ที่เที่ยวเวลา20.00น.เป็น light&music เป็นไฟวิ่งตามตึกประกอบเพลง เป็นจุดถ่ายรูปที่สำคัญของฮ่องกง / ลงรถไฟฟ้าที่มงก๊ก mongkok เดินเข้าซอยไปเล็กน้อยเป็นตลาดlady market คล้ายถนนคนเดิน มีสินค้าเหมือนเซินเจิ้น แต่ราคาแพงกว่ามาก

the room was small, not so clean and water heater didn't work well. the staff was friendly but so stubborn, dont know what he is doing on his work and sarcastic. overall good location, near to shopping centres. suitable for backpackers. for ladies, please consider to stay here

Excellent location but below average room quality

The hostel is located in an excellent place with easy access to the MRT. The room is very small and it was very difficult for two people to move about. The toilet is small with built-in shower head, i.e. basically you have shower standing in front of the toilet. Whilst the room looks clean, it has cockroaches which makes the stay very unpleasant. Also the beddings do not look clean even after we asked for them to be changed.

excellent to visit hong kong

Perfect for exploring the city, cheap, clean and close to the Metro station.
Initially the building looks ugly, but for a short stay hostel right.

Close to the Centre Kowloon and Subway Station. If you want to go from Airport take Bus A21 and you leave the bus on Stop 14. Cheaper 33 HNK dollar.

The area is not clean, the elevator is very slow and you need to queue just to get a lift. There's no lift straight to 17th floor so need to climb up the stairs to go to your hotel room.
There are a lot of Pakistani people outside harassing you to buy there items or for money exchange.

actually we are surprised when we requested to moved to hkm hostel by the marrigold staff without explaining, even we asked. then found out that they are fully booked. howver it was such an advantage to us,why? because the location and place is better than marrigold, the hkm hostel is very clean inside less than 5mins walk in the mtr station, and most specailly less people in the lobby (there is no lobby actually-since it is commercial bldg).. since we stay to hkm hostel.. 2 thumps up for thes service , cleanliness and location. we enjoyed our stay

Great Location & Affordable Rooms That's All!!

Chungking mansion is an eye sore. I won't recommend it to those who are travelling with children. (it looks the as quiapo here in the Philippines.)We where transferred from Marrigold Hostel to New London. The line to the elevator is very long. New London is located in the 17th fl ( elevators are only up to 16th, meaning you needed to use the stairs). As for our stay, the toilet got clogged and the aircon suddenly turned off in the middle of the night ( I don't know if that's accidental, they have their own switch, don't bother to complain). There is wi-fi, ref & microwave. staff is helpful specially the one in marrigold.

Great Location, Small Rooms but affordable price
Great location, hostel has water dispenser (free hot water), microwave and ref , free wifi

we were transferred from marrigold to new london hostel but i think they have similar rooms. the hostel is good since we want to save on hotel costs. mtr lines are easily accessible including the bus services. there is a bus stop across the hotel bringing the passengers directly to the airport (and i think this is the cheapest rate we can get).
