Fantastic pool and rooms in nature

Loved the room and the resort overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing stay. The grounds are beautiful on the lake and individual bungalows surrounded by trees gives lots of privacy. While the breakfast was nice (although pricey), we were disappointed with the quality of the buffet dinner and a la carte menu items we ordered, especially for the price. Unfortunately, there are no other eating options nearby as the resort is quite secluded. Having a driver or own transport is useful due to location. The Wifi hardly worked (and there is no 3G reception). I was also disappointed with the Ayurveda centre treatment for the price compared to the cost for the same treatment at other hotels and centres. Still I highly recommend the Hotel.

Sensational resort located on the lake.
Our bungalow was superb. The pool was awesome. The restaurant food was great.

Do yourself a favour and try and stay here for two nights. We only stayed the one and kicked ourselves for not staying longer as it is a truly relaxing resort. The pool is huge and there are lots of sunbeds to flop on. The lake is beautful. We had cabana number 14 and it was a stones throw from the pool and restaurant. We loved it here.

it was just okay, they shut down the dinning area too early, staff is not warm as expected in hospitality industry. requests to extend dinner time by mere half n hour was rejected even without consulting the kitchen staff. SPA is good, well trained and warm staff there.

Relaxing Stay very peaceful and serene surrounding

The stay was very comfortable , serene , the hotel has individual villas for all guests surrounded with trees with woodpeckers , small birds , butterflies etc , after all the villas finish there is a lake which is kandlama lake , this is a good option in this price , only the food was a bit expensive. other wise the whole stay was good.

very relaxing stay
stunning location, close to sigiriya & chalets

have stayed here as a solo traveller and also as a family with young children and it was perfect for both! The only negative however was the price of fruit juice, RS800 (£4) is absolutely ridiculous!
