Nice budget hotel
Good location, Easy to get transportation & Surrounding happening.

This hotel was a nice budget hotel for those backpacker or budget traveller. Hotel located in a best place, easy to get transportation(buses & tram). Surrounding very easy to get restaurants, pubs and shopping. Right opposite hotel is a river and pick up point for river cruise. This hotel is value for money. I will highly recommended for this hotel.

the staff in quentin amsterdam hotel is very nice. there are no beverage jug for us in the room, therefore, we have to go to the lobby to get some hot water, the lady in the reception is helpful enough to offer us some hot water to cook our cup-noodles.

This hotel is refurnished old building but is comfortable although it does not completely shield you from the cold outside. It has steep stairs to other rooms but there is lift for some floors. Very friendly staffs - they upgraded my room to a bigger room for my big luggage which they helped carry up the steep stairs to the hotel. Room service is only once every 2 days.
Location is very good - very near the bus and tram stations. You can even take the airport bus at the nearest bus station and it costs only 4Euro to the airport. In future I will take this red airport bus that takes you straight to this hotel in less than 45 minutes thus avoiding the hassle of carrying/pushing your luggage from the rail station across the tram tracks and uo the tram to the hotel incurring more expenses. Just take the Red bus with the words Shiphol airport in yellow outside the main entrance of Shiphol airport and it will get you to major areas in Amsterdam.

Great location in the heart of Amsterdam

The room was really, really small. For what we payed, perhaps we could have found something better. Anyhow, the location was great and if you don't intend on staying in the hotel it is quite fine.

Small rooms, inconvenient parking

Very small room. difficult to stay in room unless you lay on bed. Maybe for such reason, TV really hung below ceiling. You would better lay on bed to watch TV. Not suitable for family with kid.
Parking also another problem. hard to get a vacancy at night although there are a line of public parking spaces outside the hotel. We needed to park far from the hotel and walk back for 15 minutes.

Decent, but tiny
Hotel is very near the bus/tram station. Has nearby restaurants and convenient stores, not far from the city

the facade and lobby of the hotel was nice. everything was lovely, even the corridors which led to out room. the only set back was that the room was very very small. the bed literally stretches from one wall to the other. bathroom is also pretty small, and because of that, the whole bathroom gets really wet after every shower, deem the bathmat useless.. but on the upside, the room is clean and equipt with wifi connection.
