WITH EARLY FLIGHT HAD TO LIFT BAGGAGE DOWN SEVERAL FLIGHTS OF STAIRS.

Terrible hotel, alarm on at midnight, noisy, would never recommend to anyone. Couldn't have a decent sleep due to noise. It's overrated 3 star hotel. It's an old hotel as well. Better to spend more to get a good sleep..

Excellent value for money in a quiet edge of the CBD location. Only let down is no restaurant on site for lunch or dinner. They expect you to go to a sister hotel along the street if you want a restaurant facility. However, there are local restaurants handy and with a car, easy access and parking. Good reception staff though - efficient, helpful and very pleasant.

Great location with very friendly staff
Great location, close to the inner city of Adelaide. Great staff, very friendly and helpful.

Stayed for 5 nights. The location was fantastic as it only took 10-15 minutes to walk to the centre of Adelaide. Parkland accross the road, with an enclosed children's play area. Very safe for children to play. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This is an older hotel that has been spruced up a little, and does have some charms. Our room was spacious and had all the facilities you would find in a 5 star hotel. The down side of the room was that the bed was a little tired and the water pressure was terrible in the shower. The breakfast facilities were good, though the continental breakfast doesn't include bacon, eggs, etc as we have been used to at other hotels. But they did do pancakes, which were lovely. The bar didn't have much stock displayed, so looked like it didn't have much to offer. We had dinner at the Grand Chifley, two doors down, and charged it to the room. The service there was impecible and the food was fantastic.

Plenty of small local restaurants to choose from around the corner from the hotel. Indian, Italian, Vegetarian Asian, Vietmanese and the Astor Hotel, that has the coldest beers.

nice size quiet room in older hotel

good value for money in older hotel. clean and comfortable room for the night. hotel is on outskirts of adeliade cbd so need a car or public transport for city centre. friendly staff. car park out the back of the hotel was convienient. hotel is easy to get to if driving.
