"We were visiting family in Wollongong and needed a hotel so picked the Chifley which we knew was newly built. Whilst not as central as the Novotel we were really pleased with the hotel - it was spotlessly clean and had great service. The breakfast and room service were good, very high standard of food and prompt service."

"First time visiting Wollongong and chose to stay in Novotel Northbeach. The location is excellent! It is just the opposite of North Beach, walking distance to North Wollongong train station, and there is a bus stop just outside the main entrance. In terms of restaurants, there are not many of them nearby the hotel, might need to walk to the city centre to get more options. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, I had good night sleep throughout my stay. The reception and dining staff were very friendly and nice. I would highly recommend this hotel for weekend getaway or short family holiday."

"Amazing!!! Really enjoyed our selves. Arrived on a Thursday night after hours and greeted by the most friendly bar staff and very helpful manager. Room was gorgeous!!! Huge and with everything you need! We could have stayed a week, easily and with all the conforts of home. Including washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven, stove and HEATED towel rack!!! Loved the private alfresco area, direct access to the pool and sunning area. The food was brilliant and we loved the themed nights eg cocktail Friday’s and Mexican Saturday. We ate at the bistro and dumpling pop up bar and the food was excellent. The views are also spectacular and allow you easy access to the beach. Only small thing would be the need for a heated pool, but that’s just a suggestion and certainly not a complaint. Everything you need onsite and so wonderful to wake up in the AM, wal less than 50 metres & be able to purchase a real and decent coffee, at the bistro onsite. Also great to have a bar onsite too.... Thank you headlands "
