Lovely hotel, with friendly staff . ”

Very impressive rooms and villas. Service was very friendly . However, the only drawback was that the vacation club was not set near the beach .(unlike the Anantara HOTEL ) the pool was lovely but the spa/jacuzzi was not working whilst I was there .The transport out to restaurants was very expensive even for a very short distance and price seemed to be set by the hotel and the various taxi cabs .Makes the trip out for dinner a relatively expensive experience . I also asked for international adaptors for the room and it never came . All in all, it was a good break for my family and I but I don't think I will go back to it again althouigh i really cannot fault the rooms and staff. Its just the location that did not work out for us .

Absolute delight: luxurious with super staff, but not on the beach”

We loved our 4-night stay in the 2-bedroom villas with private pool. We were so impressed with the villa, the facilities & activities of the resort (we loved the movie in the pool & the archery!), the stunning beauty of the grounds, and the top-notch service. Our one and only disappointment was the lack of beach access. The highlight for me besides the luxury of the resort, was the staff. They were so incredibly nice. I have never seen such welcoming & happy staff before! They were such a delight & really made our stay that much more wonderful. We were especially impressed by the kids club/pool/sports activities staff as well as the buggy/golf cart drivers. So delightful! We didn't realize the beach was not visible from the resort & even though it is a very short walk, the beach is quite rough & dangerous in this area (at least in July) so you can't swim anyway. We have great memories of our wonderful stay. Highly recommend. We will talk about this luxurious vacation for years!

Another great Anantara property”

Our stay was great. Every Anantara property we have stayed in has been a great experience and even though it was peak season, it didn't feel over crowded (nor was it full of Chinese tour groups). The staff is extremely friendly and very well trained. As a place for families, I definitely recommend this resort.

Anantara Vacation Club”

Our stay in Anantara was ok.... the hotel has a nice swimming pool and serves a great buffet breakfast.. but it is a walk away from the beach and there are no facilities integrated that allow you to enjoy the beach as a guest of the hotel... if you like to spend your vacation next to the swimming pool, then you will enjoy the Anantara Vacation Club .. but they do not offer anything more then that...

Wouldn be my first choice”

Do not stay at two bedroom pool suite. No privacy small pool. Resort is small not much of facilities. One good thing is its right next to turtle village. I would recommend anantara villas than vacation club suits.

Nice Place! Walk to beach”

We had a lovely room with a pool and were located as requested in the room next to our friend's. We had a lovely time. There is basically one restaurant on the property and a nice pool, but other options nearby. We loved the beach, but it is a 5-10min walk. The staff was very accommodating and helped us book taxis and call other places for reservations on our behalf. Fantastic hospitality!

disappointing”

we are Europeans and live in HK since 15 years and come to Phuket several times per annum since 15 years. we came a s couple. although this hotel claims it is a good for honeymooners and for romantic stays, none of both is true. there were hardly any other couples, let alone honeymooners. this hotel is for children only. children own the pool, the open play ground until alte in the night, the kids club and even the gym. international gym rules are fully ignored. we recommend this resort for families with children and for nothing else.

Excellent hotel,very nice place,friendly staff! This hotel ia a good place to relax,enjoy the restaurants,the beautiful pool! Only the beach is quite dangerous,but,is so beautiful to see the view!! I recomend this hotel!!

Wonderfull two weeks”

We had two week of bliss! The hotel is well situated for people with children as it is not so crowded as the hotels closer to Phatong. We took the hotels bicycles on several occasions and had so much fun.

Very nice hotel, clean and large room”

Satisfying. the hotel is very nice property. newly built, ample space with bedroom, big bathroom, living room, and kitchen equipped with the stove, kitchen utensils, refrigerator, and even washing machine and dryer. The hotel is good for rest, not for shopping or city activities since it is located in quite remote area with limited option to dine outside, can only find the Turtle village with only 2 choices of restaurants, very small mini-mart, and limited shops.

Stay over 17-22 July 2015”

The receptionist graciously apologized for a miscommunication over the airport pick-up which did not manifest, and gave us a free upgrade. Housekeeping service was prompt and clean throughout the stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, so we enjoyed cooking or eating bought food from outside. The Crust restaurant which served wood oven-baked pizzas was very good, so we had pizzas everyday. That leads me to say that I rarely think that Thai food could be bad, but the standard of the Chaam restaurant could definitely be raised. After our first meal there, we needed to venture out or I felt that we were doing ourselves an injustice. We only had breakfast there (inclusive of our package) when we were pressed for time, as the atmosphere (I guess based on the sheer number of guests who need to be served) during this peak holiday season replicated that of a train station, and the food quality as well. So the various restaurants and cafes at Turtle Village came to the rescue, and so did our visits to Turtle Mart the mini super-market. But all in all, we were met with gracious hospitality throughout our stay. The serene grounds, the pleasant surprise of access to a private pool, and our hope for a low-key, restful holiday was fully met. The pool-side movie viewing was a highlight for the kids. Last but not least, the pillows are well appointed and I wish I could purchase them!

New resort with beautiful room and good staffs, Great breakfast!!”

The room was sooo big. Breakfast is over-expectation. However, the location is away from the city that you need a car to get here.

The stay was, on the whole, good. It is well located close to the beach and a short drive from the airport. Unfortunately there was construction around the hotel during my short stay.

It was a delightful stay. We also stayed at the pool villa for a couple more days. The pool was a bit small, but it wasn't packed so it was fine. It will be better if there is better directions about how to get to the beach.

Disappointing stay we won’t be back”

You pay so much for an incredible stay and honestly it’s gone down hill since we went 5 years ago. They’ve made more of the vacation club and split the facilities / resort and it just doesn’t work. We were told we couldn’t eat in one place then waited 25 mins for a buggy to go to where we could Eat (it was 7am so not a busy time). Food is ok. Not great. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place is ridiculously expensive for what you get.

Nice resort and view, remote place”

The resort is located in an hour drive to Patong beach. No free hotel shuttle to the inner city unless you pay for it.Check-in procedure is rather slow. Breakfast is goood as varieties of food to choose with.. Have a swimming pool and pool side bar with good view.

Good value for nice family holiday”

Nice place for a relaxing family holiday at a busy time (xmas). Friendly staff and good kids activities. Would return. Much better value than place across the road which has jacked up its rates to a ridcilous level.
