this is so surprising, with the price usually i get 1 room with 2 person only(1 double bed) but in ancora i get room for 4 person with 2 double bed , huge room, balcony, breakfast for 4 people. This is really nice hotel, so clean, they have free tuk tuk shuttle to ao nang beach (10 minutes) Infront of this hotel there is Roti Phanom that you can try their roti,etc with very cheap price. Staff are so helpfull, friendly. Over all this is very pleasant place when i visit krabi again i will stay at ancora blu again of course.

Very nice hotel to stay”

Stayed three nights with my family here. We booked 2 separate rooms including breakfast. The breakfast is great, with a lot of choice. The room is very clean. Hotel have free tuk-tuk send customers to the beach. The only drawback of the hotel is the location, it's about 2 miles away from Ao Nang beach. You have to take the local taxi or tuk-tuk when you need go back to the hotel. the hotel work staff are very friendly, always offer help to us. If I go to Krabi again, I'll definitely book Ancora Blu again.

Worth the price. Clean. Friendly staff”

They offer free tuk tuk shuttle service to Ao Nang Beach and back to the hotel. Available until 9pm. About 5mins ride. A halal restaurant is just in front of the hotel. You can ask the front desk to help you with motorbike rentals. It was 250baht per day. But if you go around Aonang area sometimes can get cheaper 200 baht per day. As for activities to do such as island tour, snorkelling etc, i think it is way cheaper if you find it around the Aonang area. I got mine a lot cheaper. Other than that, hotel was very clean. You can call for room cleaning everyday. They changed my towels everyday because i requested for it. Staffs were super friendly. I like the decorations, the environment, the mountain view from my balcony, (maybe you can try to request for mountain view instead of street view) 😁 Oh, this hotel dont have elevator so u got to take the stairs. Overall i am satisfied with my stay, worth the money i paid, i had a great time with my family. Thank you Ancora Blu.

Excellent little hotel!”

Excellent hotel about 20 minutes walk from heart of Ao Nang. Clean, comfortable, friendly/helpful staff, breakfast included (can pack breakfast or tuna sandwiches if heading out on morning excursion), free Tuk Tuk ride to/ from Ao Nang if wanted. 7-11 and Tesco around the corner. It is on a busy street which can be loud for some but did not bother us and ear plugs would work! Booked day trips at front desk at a good rate too! Thanks Ancora Blu Boutique Hotel!

A must stay hotel ! ”

I loved this hotel . Pro and cons to help you when you arrive in krabi ao nang 1. Free tuk tuk many times to the ao nang beach and one time free pick up from ao nang beach to hotel 2. Rooms are super clean ! Superb ambience . Very nice mountain view 3: they provide cloth stand for free in your balcony 4.ours was a deluxe room , cozy bed , free water , coffee, tea 5. Extremely helpful staff . May and fone the receptionist were good 😊 very helpful and available. 6. The tuk tuk guy is so jolly always ready to drop you to ao nang 7. Breakfast is nice . They make it fresh and the chef and kitchen is clean . Hmmmm what else ? Well it's good for people who want to stay in this hotel just for sleep as we both were out the whole day for daily tours !!! Cons In the morning you have to call the hotel on your own for tuk tuk to get you back from ao nang to hotel Stairs !!! They don't have a lift so it's always a boring thing to walk up the stairs Rest it's superb !!!

Pros: excellent made to order breakfast, excellent staff, free tuk tuk up until 9pm to the city. Excellent restaurants very near the hotel. Cons: no pool, but the Indian Ocean and the amazing nearby beaches solved that. A bit from the boat area in Ao Nang the free tuk tuk helped there. I walked back every evening enjoying the city and the nighttime tempatures. The whole area is very safe. Overall I cannot say enough good things about Ancora Blu.

Lovely stay”

Ancora Blu Boutique is lovely, its imaculate and comfortable. We stayed in their delux room the first two nights which was amazing, we tried to extend out stay we liked it so much but they only had one extra night avalible in a smaller room fur to everything being booked. However the smaller room was still lovely. I can really understand why ilthe hotel was so fully booked as it is lovely and great value for money! Would recommend!

A fabulous stay at Ancora Blu”

Ancora Blu exceeded my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was spectacular! The location was too far to walk to the beach; however, Ancora offered free shuttle rides to the beach from 8am to 9pm. Free breakfast was also a nice bonus! I would definitely recommend staying at Ancora Blu Boutique Hotel.

Best hotel with cheapest price!”

I love everything in Ancora. The room, the staff, the environment, the breakfast. You can book package+rent a motorcycle at the reception as well. Everything done very clean & tidy. Only 10 mins by motorcycle to Ao Nang beach. And there's a lot of food stall along the way. This is the best. I will surely come back to this hotel again if i went to Krabi next time. Thank you so much Ancora & we miss you already.

staff friendly and nice. ”

Hotel staff very nice and helpful. They have some choices for breakfast not only bread and fruit. I really enjoyed the breakfast they prepared. The hotel is quite far from Ao Nang beach, but this hotel did provide us free tuk tuk only to Aonang beach and back to hotel. But only from 8am to 9pm. Unless you want to walk from hotel enjoy the view and visit the small shops along the road, it took around 30 minutes walk to reach Ao Nang beach. The mountain view from our balcony also beautiful. The only thing I don't like is the room not really soundproof and always can hear some echo which disturbing my sleep. The air-conditioning also didn't function well. It's really hot even i on the air cond to the max. We didn't book tour from this hotel as it a bit more expensive compare to tour company in Ao Nang beach.

Excellent & Pleasant Stay”

We'd an excellent 5-nights stay at Ancora Blu Hotel. The beds are clean & comfortable, room clean & spacious.The was cleaned daily, used items replaced/refilled. The staff ris friendly & helpful. They helped us checked with tour operators on the pricing & timing for pick-up when the van was late (2 separate tours/activity that we booked elsewhere). Tuk-tuk was readily available during our trip and we always used it to take us further down, near the beach area.

Value for money”

Place is approx 2km from Ao Nang beach. However, hotel provides free tuk-tuk ride (auto rikshaw) till 8 pm. Anything after that you need to pay 30 baht for tuk tuk ride from hotel to beach. It's very new hotel with decent facilities (bed, TV, coffee machine, hair dryer, AC, two free water bottles, refrigerator). Room size is decent. Bathrooms are quite big with hot water facility. Breakfast is free (many options to select from). We had omelet bread toast and was quite good. Staff is very polite and receptionist understands and speaks English. Overall if you short on budget or are on non-honeymoon trip this is a very good value for money option in krabi.

Excellent”

A really nice hotel for somebody who wants quality at an affordable price. The rooms at the rear have a great view of the huge rock cliffs that tower over Ao Nang, and have a an attractive swinging door leading to a balcony, as well as a large beautifully kitted- out bathroom. The hotel is blessed with a friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast although limited in choice is of the "all you can eat" variety! Situated a mile or so from the busy resort itself the hotel offers a free tuk-tuk service down into town and back, plus there's quite a few nice quiet bars and eating places within a cock- stride of the hotel as well as Tesco and Macro supermarkets nearby! To get to Krabi, (which takes about 40 mins maximum) you simply stand outside the hotel and flag down a white songthew (open back taxi/van). There is also a cheap shuttle service to and from the airport at Krabi. On the down side I don't think there is a lift in the hotel, and to buy alcohol you need to go to the 7/11 store.

Nice Decoration and clear hotel ”

First I want to review the hotel very nice decoration (you will imaging you are in Santorini, haha) spacious and clean room, just the aircon a bit warm and the hotel is no lift, but it wouldn't effect our holiday mood=) The breakfast is nice, no buffet type but you can order more than one set if u can finish it. We rent our bike in the hotel, slightly expensive than outside street but the bike is new and they allow us return bike at 10pm (street majority must return at 9pm) Will come back Ancora for next visit Krabi =)

Ancora hotel was cleanly maintained but a woman at reception was rude”

Ancora hotel is bit far from Krabi Airport. Take the Taxi meter from outside airport and negotiate for a good deal. we got a deal of 450baht for 4 ppl. Free tuk tuk service to ao nong beach is too good. Its a good initiative. I would recommend to a friend but the woman receptionist was rude and misleading. Not sharing any relevant details on the package and on the tours.

Lovely new hotel”

We had a pleasant stay at Ancora Blu. The hotel is new, so all furniture & furnishings were in very good condition. The hotel was clean, and they provide a simple complimentary breakfast. Plus, at the time we stayed, everything in the minibar was free :D The only downside that I must add is that this hotel has no lift. So for those with young children, or has difficulty climbing stairs, please request for rooms on the lower floors. At some levels, the stairs were rather steep. Hotel location is a little far from the main street (where all the happening is), however the hotel provides free shuttle there (and to the beach too, I think). We booked an Island Hopping package and was pleasantly surprised that the price offered by the hotel was a little better than the asking price outside. Had a chat with a staff, and was told that they plan to install a pool soon. So, more to look forward to in the future!

We have a very nice days and enjoy staying at Ancora Blu Boutique Hotel...We booking 2 family rooms for 2 days..The room quite big,clean and very comfortable..They do have a free simple breakfast and tuk tuk service to Ao Nang beach..I will come again for my next trip..

Best hotel ever”

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it is the best experience ever!! The hotel itself was very very clean. They also provide free tuk tuk from hotel to Ao Nang Beach from 8.00am-9.00pm.. The breakfast was really good and tasty.. Im sooo satisfied with this hotel.. If I come again to Krabi I will stay here again.. You get more than what you pay..

not bad but no lift”

everything very good but no lift & before arrival i already email to ancora blu but they agree to prepared for me room on the 1st floor but when arrival and want to check in, they refused to give room as they mention before because late check in & another person stay at the room. Hope after this, they need to lock booking as promise to customer. TQ.

Absolute gem!”

Can't find anything to fault Ancora Blu. The place is brand new and the rooms are simply superb. Large, very bright and inviting. The slight hint of a sailor theme is lovely and very sutle. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved our room on the 3rd floor with a nice little balcony and amazing view. The breakfast menu is again fantastic. Free wifi and it works!
