Great hotel at a great price”

My friends and I stayed at Ao Nang Buri Resort for a total of 5 nights and simply loved it. We got to stay in the rooms that go right out to the pool. The rooms were a good size and cleaned daily. The staff was friendly and helpful even giving us good advice on places to eat or things to do nearby in the evenings. Maybe it was because it's rainy season/low tourist season, but the resort felt like it was the perfect size for all the people there. We even got the pool entirely to ourselves several times which was nice. It was nice having the beach right in front and being able to walk over to enjoy the sunsets. The buffet breakfast was pretty good. The menu varied a little bit from day to day, so after several days you could get tired of it, but overall it wasn't bad. The location was great. It was a 5-10 minute walk from the main strip of restaurants, souvenir shops, and massage parlors in Ao Nang. It was also in a good location for tour pick-ups. We were typically the last ones picked up before the 4 island or Koh Phi Phi tours--the perk was that it gave us time to get ready and have a relaxed breakfast before getting a start on our day. We never had to wait for others to be picked up at their hotels and our ride to the boats were usually about 5 minutes. We were also dropped off first in the afternoon. Two things I didn't like about Ao Nang Buri Resort were that they charge for wifi inside the rooms, so if you don't want to pay, you have to sit out in the lobby where there is free wifi, and that the doors are thin, so if people walk by speaking loudly or children run by, you can hear everything. They weren't huge issues. We didn't go to Krabi to use the internet, so these weren't huge detractors from our overall experience. It was only a small inconvenience. My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it to others. I can speak for each of them when I say that we'd stay there again! We got a great deal for our money!

Good Staff / Location / Pool / Clean”

My wonderful vacation with wonderful Resort and wonderful staff. The staff are very good. i left my family photo (elephant riding) inside the room during check out time and just noticed when i reach Malaysia (3 days after)... and I've called the front desk about my family photo. They respond very very very fast and send the photo to Malaysia within the same day. The pool are very good and just nice for my kids.. not too big ..and not to small. i'm staying at pool access room and the room was nice and good deco with bathtub and my kids have a choice to play. Pool or bathtub. The location also good for those who loved the beach view and the wave sound. This Resort located at 20 meter from Nopparat Beach which more beautiful than Aonang Beach..... but not too worried ...this hotel just a walking distance to Aonang Beach Street if you choose to shopping at Aonang Street. This hotel also near to Nopparat Pier which all the island hopping package will use this pier to Phi Phi Island / Maya bay and etc..... The beach at Nopparat Pier was Fantastic!!.... very near to this Aonang Buri Resort. And the last one... 24hours shop just 10 meters away from this AONANG BURI RESORT entrance. Will coming back to Aonang Buri Resort.

Nice Qiuet Hotel”

The best Place to relax and chill out at Krabi for a perfect holiday. Ao Nang Buri Resort is situated along the quiet Nopparathara Beach and not far away from the Bars of Ao Nang Beach. You could book a scooter form the reception and visit the nearby location of Ao Nang Beach for an excellent dining and party experience at Centerpoint. Tamy and her team of Staff are really friendly, and always willing to help out in making sure of all of your travel needs is taken care off. At the moment most of the rooms are being upgraded and renovated and I am sure that it would be even better. Rooms are nice especially the Pool Access rooms. All in all it is a great hotel and I will definitely be back again.

awesome and fantastic”

Aonang buri resort is located in front of noppathara beach thus my staying here is very fun and relaxing. The staffs also had great language skills thus I dont have any language barrier with them. However this hotel is quite far from aonang town which took about 15-20 minutes by walking but it's not a big issue because you can rent motorbike from the hotel. The price is 250 baht for 1 day but you can get cheaper pruce if you rent the motorbike outside the hotel which only 200 baht. The decision is yours. Anyway, my holiday in krabi was awesome and had many good memoriea. Definitely will come again to krabi :)

Quiet location, great service and beautiful resort”

the resort is in a good location near ao nang, but away from the busy stretch of pubs and shops at ao nang. it takes about 5-10 mins walk or 3 mins ride on the tuk tuk that cost 20 baht per person. personally i like the quietness of the street as it can get very noisy from the pubs and traffic at ao nang late into the night. the resort staff are friendly,and rooms are clean. i have nothing to complain about the service. i do like the beautiful surroundings in the resort, the cafe, lobby and especially the pool area. wifi is provided in the rooms for a charge, although free wifi is available in the lobby and cafe. there is a restaurant just opposite this resort that offers a great view of the beautiful sunset. a restaurant named chabai thai in ao nang is one of my favorite restaurants that served great thai food. what i think the resort can do better is the breakfast selection as it offers almost the same spread everyday. the room i stayed in had a connecting door to the next room and it does not provide a good sound proof. so on a few nights, i could hear music and conversations coming from the next room. overall, i really enjoyed my stay at the resort, and would come back to this resort again in my next trip to krabi.

Nice hotel in calm area but not so good beach.”

We traveled around in Thailand for alot and stayed in many different places with different standards. Stayed in Krabi (Ao Nang Buri Resort) for 2 nights. The hotel it self was nice with good standard worth its 3 stars! and so was the location. It was a bit outside the shopping street area. We rented a scooter from the hotel and it took us 5-10min too the town. You could also take a cheap taxi to get there. The beach was little of a disapointment. it was shallow water far out ( upp to your knees) and started to get deep first after perhaps 100m. Maybe because of the season... Did not find many things to do except traveling around different islands. So, for a short stay we find the hotel very convenience.

Away From crowds ”

Aonang Buri Resort has everything you need when you stay in Krabi Aonang area, you have everything near by but a bit far far away from markets and main beach, the resort has a small size pool on the ground floor, i was lucky enough that there were less travelers on time, otherwise pool size is not sufficient for full packed hotel. rooms are nice and clean. staffs are helpful. you can book day tours and everything from there. overall its a nice stay. i would definitely recommend people to go there

Good location and very friendly staff”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ao Nang Buri. Our 2 1/2 yr old daughter enjoyed all the attention the staff gave her and we appreciated the fact that the hotel was right next to the beach but not right in the hustle and bustle of the very middle of Ao Nang. Our room was comfortable with a good sized bed and one can see the rooms are well maintained. The only minor criticisms I have are the fact that the room safe is quite small - too small to put a DSLR into - and the TV picture quality was poor. The latter is of little consequence as we were out and about most days as there are many things to do around Ao Nang. Breakfasts offered a reasonable range of food and their omelettes were made to order. The restaurant really came into its own when we ordered from the a la carte menu for dinner. Overall we had a good time and would happily stay there again.

Location, Location, Location”

Our stay at the Aonang Buri Resort was great. We were literally in front of the ocean. You can either get a drink and watch the sunset or sit and have your coffee looking at the ocean. The hotel is a basic beach hotel. The staff was very attentive and the rooms were very clean. The pool area is also really nice. I can't comment of the food because we didn't have food at the hotel. There are local restaurants near by so we opted for that instead. It's in a great location. It's close to the ocean and not in the super touristy area. However, you can walk there in about 5-10 min. I have nothing negative to say since we enjoyed our stay. I would stay there again.

Wonderful Stay”

I've never ever been to Krabi before so i've not any info about where to go and where to stay until i met agoda.com which match my need to this place, Aonang buri resort Krabi. First impression i'd met is friendliness of the staff who really care and handle all what i need while we stayed there..The Atmosphere is so amazing. Behind our place is big green mountain that give good air to us every morning. The room is well decorated as well as toilet that always clean and convenience while we enjoy bathing. hahaha. Love it and will be back again.

We stayed a night here after visiting phi phi islands.. we were welcomed by the most friendly staffs.. and even better the room manager upgraded us to the room that’s have a pool access balcony (Thanks for that!), the pool is clean and nice for a refreshing swim. the staffs are kind enough to let use use the towels even we have checked out(just pay a deposit). Location wise, it’s a fair bit of walk to where all the happenings stuff are going on, but this place is right in front of nonpharat beach.. awesome if u like quiet beaches. 7-11 down the corner is awesome.. overall we enjoyed our stay here in ao nang Buri resort. Recommended.

Great vacation ”

Aonang Buri Resort provide us a very warm welcoming holiday. My entire holiday in Krabi worth the value as they have provide everything we need such as food, transportation, wi-fi and other facilities in the hotel such as pool and massage. Shopping, restaurant, pub and massage centre are within the walking distance about 10 to 20 minutes.

Pros: Great location. Just opposite serene and quiet Nopharrat beach. Plenty of shops/stalls nearby with great and affordable halal food options. A coffee shack opposite the hotel with seating booth to enjoy the sunset views are just magnificent! Hotel staff are very helpful and delightful to deal with. Room is good. With comfortable mattress and pillow. Breakfast options are fair. Massage service with Aromatherapy oil also available inhouse. Massage was Very relaxing and the masseur is very nice and accomodating. Cons: Could improve on toilet facility. The bidet shoots high water pressure that cant be controlled, and room only provide bathtub. A normal shower is preferable than bathtub, in my opinion. Other than that, i can not fault the hotel. I enjoyed my 4days stay here and will definitely be stayinng here again in the future. Good job AoNang Buri!

A Wonderful Resort Ao Nang Buri Resort”

i want to use this word to explain what i thought while i was staying there ao nang buri resort is perfect. really kind people, wonderful foods at resort restaurant. great breakfast aswell. when i asked something to reception, they gave me a affordable answer with kindness. nice view, nice food, nice room, nice people, and quite place. everything was good for relax.

this was a great hotel. i could not decide in what hotel to stay when i plan our holiday at the end i choose ao nang buri resort and i definity made the right choice. rooms are very comfortable and the staff speak english and they are very friendly. the hotel is right by the beach and the longtail boats. we really enjoyed our stay and will definity stay here againg.

This is my 2nd time staying @ aonang buri resort, I requested back the same room... As I love the room,jus infront of the pool... Location was awesome, so much of changes in krabi within 4 years... All the shops near by about 5 mins walk to the place for food & dessert...

Well, everybody must go to Krabi one day, right? Ao Nang is perfect. Ao Nang Buri resort is about 3 ”

Available, affordable, day trips easy to book (the day or night before, no walk ups), for Longboats wear shorts and sandals or flip flops (you won’t be wearing footware anyway, and long pants will get wet). Speedboats, although a bit more expensive are easier, and the only way for elderly. I’d say first timers need to visit for not less than a week. Stunning scenery in the bay, beach clean and relaxing, excellent local sea food (dine before 10pm as most close about then), night life if you want (before 2am), part Muslim, part Buddist. Great bands, as good as anywhere, covers and rock. Some regional airlines are hard to, or can’t check in on-line, so must be at airport early and delays are part of the Thai experience. South Thailand has two seasons: wet and windy (i.e. coldish). Ladies, take a shawl, 26 degrees means about 19 here. No hot season. Ao Nang Buri Resort is the other side of the road from the beach so protected from the cold winds the beach side resorts could experience.

The Best”

This was my 5th time in Krabi so to make it simpler I just booked taxi and island tour from the hotel prior to my stay. Surprisingly it was slightly cheaper and the reservation team has been responsive to my queries and payments. Stayed in deluxe pool view room, and I was very happy with it - the room size was nice, the king bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. Although the toilet was a bit old fashioned to my liking (old design, shower in the bath tub, permanent visible toilet bowl stain), the fact that the hotel situated at the best location (not too near from the bustling Ao Nang walking street but situated right in front of the Nopparat Thara Beach compensates that aspect. Breakfast was okay and the hotel also provides motorbike rental. We encountered slight inconvenience where we misplaced the key of our luggage bag's padlock, but the staff was kind enough to come by and cut the padlock. I was very thankful for that, and this also proves that the hotel staffs are excellent and always ready to serve you a 5* service. Will definitely come back.

Great Location, Center of Attraction”

Arrived from another hotel which my girlfriend and I had spent the night before. We wanted to change to a more centralized location due to the inaccessibility of the previous hotel. Then we decided to book a night of stay at Ao Nang Buri Resort, which we came across online. Upon arrival, we thought that the reception area is too small to be even mentioned as lobby. But lesson taught, never judge a book by it's cover. Greeted by friendly staff, their english could be better, but still understandable. Processing to our room after check-in. All the scene, is exactly as shown on the web. Room is clean and it's gave off a refreshing and calming feeling, with traditional decoration in the room. Worth it. We could see the beach, less than a hundred meter away just across the road. There's also nearby restaurants within walking distance. Great experience, Thank You Agoda for the recommendation.
