A Very Comfortable Modern Building.”
The hotel was clean and well looked after.The Bed was very comfortable and very Hot Shower. The Staff were Friendly and the Buffet Breakfast was good. Sufficient Parking Area, was easy to find just off the Main Road.

Easy access to the premises ”
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Quick check in. Rooms clean and a good mattress, just only 2 pillows. Breakfast Asian style, but sufficient. We would stay again.

It's a good hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Drawbacks: not sufficient lamps in the room so the room poorly lit in evenings. And the toilet paper came out as small sheets from the holder. Useless.

Could be beautiful....BUT”
I paid for the large suite/bedroom it was very clean and the bed and towels looked beautiful but sadly it was let down by the interior being rather tired and I don't know who done the tiling in the bathroom/toilet but it was very poor there were signs of ageing on the furniture inside the room which is a real shame but the bed was comfortable...Breakfast was pretty good but the tables looked way past their best

I found problem for air condition. Staff not willing to fix it. They ask me to wait until fixing finish. 1 hour later. I have to request change to new room. Once I go to the room. They not start to fix yet.

This is a tired, worn out and depressing hotel. The rooms are outdated and not particularly clean. The breakfast was like something from the 1970s - sugar, salt, processed garbage.

Our stay in Nong Khsi”
We enjoyed our stay at the Asawann although we had to take a tuktuk to most places. They were available and not expensive so that was okay too. The hotel is large, staff friendly and it is close to the shopping centre. We would recommend the Asawann to other travellers. If you want a social life you will have to go to the Mekong river area for that. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very good.

We were able to check in at twelve so we could get our rooms and them go to street mall to eat on the river and shop. We were able to stop in the Asawann restaurant and have some beer after we finished shopping. The cental air is a little sluggish on adjusting the room temp. It was good for me and my wife but our friends had a little trouble sleeping a little to warm for them but they keep their house cold all the time. It is an older newly remodled hotel but has great rooms for a good price.

Best Location in Nong Khai”
If your objective is to find a place to park yourself before / after a Lao border crossing, the Asawann is the place to be. It's right next to the 2 big hypermarkets in NK - Tesco and BigC... and has a well-stocked mall selling everything from IT gadgets to books and clothes. Perfect place to stock-up. The hotel room is basic and clean. Breakfast is standard Thai fare with an egg station and good fruits / salad selection in addition to the usual Thai fare served in hotels. Great value. Great location.
