Perfect for Transiting Don Muang or Staying in Rangsit”

The Asia Airport Don Muang Hotel is a rather large property near the Don Muang airport in Bangkok. I booked this hotel using Agoda.com. It looks like it was built in the late 80’s or early 90’s although the rooms have been refurbished for sure. It is convenient to that north end of town near Rangsit, which is why I chose it. The hotel and the room were clean and met my wife’s and my needs perfectly for a hotel in that area to visit family. Room service is 24 hours and is very reasonably priced. The food was quite good and the portions good as well. Perfect for when arriving late in Bangkok. This is not a resort, but it is a clean, affordable hotel with a really nice staff. If that’s what you’re looking for – or you are looking for a hotel as you transit the Don Muang airport – this is a solid choice. Also good if you need accommodations in the Rangsit area. Reasonably priced, I have booked a stay there for when my wife and I come through Bangkok later this month.

Easy to go to Don Mueang Internation Airport.”

I had early morning flight. It harded for to drived 80 kms. far away from Don Mueang Int' airport. Firstly I looking for accomodations opposite the airport, but when I saw the drive-route, it was so complicated. Agoda show Asia Airport Hotel, it was my answer, the hotel is on the same side of the hotel, you can drive directly to the airport. Safe time and safe drive. In room have toiletries you need. Room is clean and neat. 24 hrs. reception, restuarants and etc.

Excellent staff, great location ”

I arrived at 6:00 am which was very early for check in. No problem, they found me an excellent room for my son and wife who were joining me later. The staff were excellent and very friendly, especially the guy who met us and led us from the front desk to room. This is a quality hotel and great value near Don Muang airport. This was refreshing as I had just spent 1 horrible night at the Regent hotel near Survanaboumi airport which had grumpy staff and terrible service. It (Asia hotel) even has a gym although the running machines did not start. I did not mind. This is a bonus as you rarely get a gym at hotels in Thailand at that price. Once I find a nice hotel, I go back several times. I will definitely be a regular here.

Great location as Hotel is on top of a shopping mall. The hotel lobby is on the 10th floor. We have stayed at 4 other hotels near Don Munnang ASIA BANGKOK HOTEL meets all our needs, will stay again for sure. Easy to get too if you are driving and need car parking. Only a few minutes to Don Munang Airport. Large rooms but showing the hotel age. Beds good, clean carpet, good TV channels, and WiFi in rooms, breakfast OK for the price. Swimming pool could have been cleaner. Air conditioning could have been cooler requires a service. The family loved the restaurants and market shopping all just 2 minutes away.

Good Hotel”

We stayed here because our daughter was having an operation in PatRangsit Hospital next door to the hotel. Most people seem to stay here for the close proximity to Don Mueang Airport, which is close by and very easily accessible. The hotel is quite old, but it has been kept well. The rooms are a good size, well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. We did not use the breakfast or restaurant facilities so I cannot comment in that. Overall, I would stay again and I would recommend to friends and family.

Friendly staff, helpfull attitude.”

Flying from Don Muang Airport is really easy when you stay at this hotel. Although it is quite far from the center of Bangkok, it is extremely good when you have limited time to reach the airport during the busy traffic of Bangkok. The bellboy who helped me with my luggage was one of the best I have ever come across in my many travels around the world and went out of his way to assist me and other residents to get a taxi ride to the airport with our early departing flight from Bangkok.

Lovely hotel with full facilities”

i had a wonderful experience staying in asia airport donmuang hotel. was impressed by it's cleaniness and full facilities which included a fitness center, massage center and a swimming pool. the room was nicely decorated and spacious as well. and with the mall interconnected with the hotel,there's no lack of food and entertainment. this is one hotel i would recommend for the masses if they want to stay in the area of rungsit.

Surprisingly good”

Both my girlfriend and I were surprised by the quality of this hotel, especially for the price. Large pool, very friendly and helpfull staff. And a night market/mall right next to the hotel. Will defeniatly be the hotel of choice next time we have to stay near DonMuang Airport!

Hotel near don mueang airport”

Its a nice hotel very closed from the airport don mueang bangkok. We stayed there 1 night and enjoy the stay because the hotel is near shopping mall and food center. So there is no need to worry of hunger

Internal flights ”

This is a great hotel for people flying using Don Muang airport. It is so close you can see the planes as you have breakfast, but it's not noisy at all. Under the hotel is large shopping complex and market. The hotel begins on the floors above and is not hampered by any noise. Also has a great pool and facilities. It is not good for people wanting to go into Bangkok from here though as it's a long way from the main part of the city.. I have stayed here several times and will again.

Exceptional”

My wife and I have stayed here many times. It is very convenient for us. It is a rather long and not cheap ride from Suvarnabhumi (BKK).-we always arrange a car from inside for safety and security rather than take a public taxi-but the hotel is quite close to Don Muang (DMK)-though no airport noise. We usually stay a couple of days to unwind from the 30 hr trip before going to our winter home upcountry for about 4 months then another couple of days on the way out. The great attraction for us beyond the comforts of a nice hotel is the huge number of mainly Thai style restaurants (at least 40) in the Zeer shopping center. Excellent roast duck. A sushi bar. A food court and a food center. A supermarket. Bakeries galore. Shopping for any electronic item available in Thailand. Much ordinary quality clothing. All is directed to the local market. Foreigners are not a large part of the customer base though not at all rare. A night market in the parking lot. McDonalds. About 2 km from Future Park one of the largest shopping centers in Thailand. The hotel itself is very quiet. The hustle and bustle of commerce does not intrude on your rest. Several banks and ATMs. Great place for our needs.

Good location for street food, restaurants, shopping mall(clothes and IT stuff) ”

It's called "Airport hotel" but it's not that near to the Donmuang Airport. Go to hotel from airport you have to make a u-turn quite far, but a lot shorter time from he hotel to the airport. Its lobby is located on the 10th floor of the giants shopping mall(Zeer Rangsit) and you have to get another lift to your room(11th floor to 18th floor). The atmosphere is good there's a 4feet dept pool at the center of hotel (lobby floor). And there's is no high buildings around the hotel, so if you can book the city view room it may be more fantastic than a pool view. The room is an old fashion hotel, but it's clean. However I'm not comfortable with some facilities in bathroom:- the shower is fixed and there's no bidet spray at the toilet, imagine how can I do the cleansing with a fixed shower.... Staff is good, the security guy at the first floor help me to call a taxi and help me carry some of my stuffs after I checked out. The price near $50 per night is quite expensive if compare to the other hotel with the same type/location. And because that pice is not included breakfast.

If you have business in the north of Bangkok or have a flight out of Don Mueang airport then this hotel would represent good value for money.

Convenient and lovely staffs”

Only one night stayed before travel to South of Thailand, Its very cosy hotel and convenient to go to Donmuang Airport. Staffs very helpful and friendly. There is shopping market underneath hotel very good.

Overall was good ”

I spent 800thb to stayed overall was good if you were compared with the price with the full facility in the room and hotel. Also it had it and mobile shopping mall inside and the street food in the evening was fantastic for us. The last is about the location state between Donmuang airport and Future Park Rungsit mall.

Overall, very good, nice facilities”

The hotel was great, the staff were friendly and the room was very comfortable. The pool was nice and there was plenty of hot water from the shower. It took at least 35-40 mins for us to get to downtown Bangkok from the hotel by car. Perfect if you are catching a flight from the airport. There is a large shopping mall right by the hotel with plenty of places to eat/shop. Despite the time it takes to get to the city centre, would stay here again, very pleasant.

Great Facility!”

Close to the airport, this hotel is right above a really awesome night market. The mall nearby is also great to check out. I always stay here if I am flying out of Don Muang. Their gym is the best part about staying here. along with their pool. I didn't try the breakfast, but it looked good. I will try it next time! The room is big and the bathroom is nice. The bed is comfy and the staff are friendly!

Great value and very close to Don Muang Airport”

This is a nice hotel perched atop the Zeer Rangsit shopping mall. Once you get up the elevator from the hustle and bustle of the ground floor where the hotel entrance is right next to a mall entrance, everything relaxes. The staff are very efficient and helpful. The views from our room were enjoyable, the children loved watching planes come in to land at the airport! The hotel offers everything you would expect from a full service hotel, and, if for some reason you need more, there is an entire shopping mall downstairs! I should mention that it is more of a technology oriented mall, but it has restaurants and a Tops market so you'll be fine. Future Park mall, a brief taxi ride away, has all of the fancy retail and entertainment shopping you could ever want. We didn't have time to get into the pool, but it looked great. Overall, a very nice hotel experience!

Decent”

The hotel is in a good location for travel to and from the airport of Don Muang. It is too far out of the city for travellers wishing to visit the main city. It does have a large shopping mall under the hotel so was good for everything else
