Early March in Singapore”

My stay at the Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore began at a lower scale hotel on Ballistier Road. I was unhappy with that room, but the hotel did provide internet access. After about an hour's search, I settled on the Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore. The location is near downtown, but far enough away so it's not so jammed with traffic, and walking distance from Clarke quay. What I remember about the hotel was the variety of facilities that were available. When I discovered there was a swimming pool with bar service, I spent a lot of time there in the afternoons. The staff could not have been more helpful. It was the first time I used Agoda and I didn't know what to expect when I checked in. There were problems but the staff was patient and they gave me an upgrade to compensate for the complications.

Copthorne King's a great all-around stay”

I chose this hotel because it was right next door to a hotel hosting a conference I was attending and it was a cheaper option. I was pleased with the experience from beginning to end. Though I arrived at nearly midnight, the gentleman who checked me in was incredibly gracious and warm. I had a superior room on the 9th floor of the tower wing (925 - I highly recommend it for very good views). The room was very spacious for a single traveler and would do quite nicely for a pair. Personally, I loved the rounded walls. They made the room seem softer. The maid service was done early and quite satisfactorily. There is a small gym for those in need of an exercise fix. While I didn't eat at any of the restaurants (due more to the food at my conference than any disinclination for the hotel's), the array looked very attractive and the numerous customers every time I went by would seem to attest to the food quality. I left very early (5:40 A.M. on a Sunday), but again, the reception staff was friendly and accommodating. Singapore is an expensive city for hotels, but Copthorne King's provides a fine experience for the money.

Satisfactory stay, comfortable bed”

Stayed 1 night at Copthorne King's Hotel. Really comfortable stay, bed and pillow were very soft, helped me sleep comfortably. Aircon was also great, easily adjustable and sensitive. Great location, really close to Robertson Quay/ Clarke Quay area and orchard isn't too far away. Bath tub however was running a bit small but if you aren't into baths, it isn't a big problem. Front desk was efficient upon refilling our bottles of water. Overall great stay, not for budget traveler as it is expensive but if you aren't on a budget, could consider.

Copthorne King's Hotel”

we went in a family trip to Singapore and choose Copthorne King's Hotel. we were happy with the choice, considering the price/quality and Singapore overall accommodation costs. there isn't any taxi stop close to the hotel, and the hotel don't allow taxis to queue inside the hotel facilities. i would recommend a 1 minute walk to the hotel next door, furama, where there are always taxis waiting. our package didn't include breakfast, and i find the prince of the breakfast very expensive considering the quality. although, there isn't any cafe or so on a short walking distance from the hotel. the rooms and the hotel conditions were very good.

upon arriving at copthorne king's hotel, i was really happy to see that the hotel was very nice. it had a big lobby. people at the front desk were nice and very helpful. the room that we got was also very nice, it was not very big but it was very comfortable. the bed was big, the sheets were soft and very clean. the bathroom was clean as well, though the bath tub was a bit small. the view in our room was also very nice, i was able to sit down with my girlfriend and watch as the sun set on singapore. we were able to use some of the facilities of the hotel. the pool area was a good place where you can relax. there werent a lot of people so you can just kick back and read a book or have a quiet conversation with your companion. there was also a sauna and a steam bath. this was a pleasant surprise since i wasnt able to experience these types of amenities in other hotels. overall, i had a very pleasant stay at copthorne king's. i will definitely go back there when im in singapore.

Clean Room and Friendly Staff”

My wife and I escaped the kids for a night. The Copthorne King's Hotel was a nice retreat in a nice location. We stayed in a nice clean room and enjoyed longing at the pool. We also went for a nice evening walk on Robertson Quay where we found a favorite restaurant on the water. The room was comfortable and clean! We'd go back!

Vacations in Singapore”

Well... I'm really thankful with Copthrone King's Hotel because they made my stay in Singapore amazing. After walking all day in the beautiful streets of Singapore I knew that I had a really good hotel with a really good room, the "1820" waiting for me, to rest, have a good night and start the next day in the best way with a delicious breakfast. All the employees are so professionals, they are really good guys with an excellent customer service. This kind of things make you thing... "If I return to Singapore, I already know where I'm going to stay" because I felt amazing in this hotel. Thanks a lot for all...

Excellent”

I would highly recommend it to my friends. The staff are very friendly and helpful, it makes us wanna return to this hotel if we have another trip next time. The facility was good and cleanliness was good too. Especially to those traveller who don't have car and may need to take bus this is the place. My boyfriend and I love the breakfast very much. Thank you to Copthorne King's Hotel for those 3 days 2 nights stay and the services.

A Very Nice Hotel With Helpful & Friendly Staff”

The hotel is under renovation and I stayed in one of the nicely refurbished twin rooms in the Tower Wing. These rooms are a wedge shape but roomier enough for suitcases and clothes. Has everything you need. Beds are comfortable, carpet is attractive and nice under foot. A note says you can order different types of pillows from the front desk. Great to have an air conditioner adjustment switch in a hotel that actually works. Two bottles of water are supplied each day. Only thing I didn’t like is the shower glass screen only covers half the entrance and so it’s near impossible to stop water from splashing out into the open area. I felt sorry for the cleaner each day. About a 5 to 8 minute walk away is a fuel service station/garage that sells drinks, food etc which you can purchase for your room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. About a 15 and 20 minute walk away along the river are lovely restaurant areas in Robertson Quay and Clarke Quay. Unfortunate no MRT station is nearby.

we enjoyed our stay in the Copthorne King hotel very much , it is close to everywhere where it is interesting in Singapore , close to Orchard Road , Close to Sim Ling , Close to Clarke Quay and close to Newton Circle . the hotel was always a pleasure to come back to rest . the restaurant downstairs is great and alive and the terrace outside the bar was a pleasure to sit with great service.

i just had an overnight stay in singapore, so i chose this hotel because of its walking distance to clarke quay. the room i stayed in was a promotion room hence it was a little smaller. the size of hotel rooms in this prize range is standard for singapore. nothing under 200 singapore dollars gives you a large room. the copthorne kings hotel is a clean and well managed hotel. quick check in and check out. clean rooms with quiet air condition. anybody who likes to stay close to clarke quay will like the location.

booked for my mom to stay while she visit singapore, we checked in quite late and got a free upgrade room to deluxe which was a plus, this is the 2nd time booking with Copthorne king's hotel and they 2 time also being greeted very well and staff were so smiley all the time.

A Fun Night at Clark Quay”

We were impressed with Copthorne Kings Hotel and particularly liked the location to Clark Quay where we had chosen to spend the evening. Staff are friendly and professional. The room was well proportioned and well stocked. All services, wake up call, breakfast buffet were top notch. Overall it was and shall invesitage other Copthorne Hotels.

Nice hotel in Singapore”

Copthorne King's hotel is a good hotel with a good value for money: The hotel is located in Havelock road, which is not too central but not even far from all the nicest areas in S'pore. You would probably need a short cab ride to go dining, shopping or sightseeing in the city. Rooms are pretty small but clean, with spacious and nicely furnished bathrooms. This is not the kind of hotel where you would spend a day to chill out in your room, but it will probably be an excellent base for your stay in Singapore. I didn't try the restaurant nor the swimming pool.

Staying at Copthorne King's hotel was a last minute staycation for us but it was an enjoyable one. Our check in and out was very fast and staff were friendly and efficient. The room and the toilet were clean and spacious. Although we did not try the buffet lunch, I reckon it must had been really good as the restaurant was pretty crowded. I will highly recommend this hotel to business travellers. They provide shuttle services to quite a handful of office buildings.

Fantastic Value for money compaired to other options”

We stayed for a week in Singapore, due to this we were hoping to find a central but cheap option to accomodate this. The Copthorne Kings was the perfect place for this. Only a few mins walk to Clark Quay and Boat Quay made its location ideal for heading out for drinks and food.

Luxurious rooms but service could still be better”

had a good time relaxing here :) definitely value for money! we requested for a quiet double room, and was given a nice room with a single and double bed. the room was clean, and we lacked nothing. overall, copthorne king's hotel was a good experience :) will be back if i can!

Copthorne Kings is in a great location. Walking distance to Clarke and Robertson Quays and not too far from Chinatown - couple of dollars in taxi. Room was ordinary but very clean. Recommend close walking distance restuarant called Ems at Robertson Quay. Pool area including spa, sauna and steam room was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Value for money was okay.
