Bang for the buck”

Bang for the buck price! The room is spacious, far from what I've imagined as a cramped space. I didn't even expect them to clean the room (changed towels and bedsheet) and provide bottled water everyday because of the cheap price tag. Location wise - it's on the cheaper side of Singapore. A lot of eateries also, which sadly I wasn't able to sample all. Hotel is also on the quiet side of the street so you can sleep soundly. Will definitely go back here.

It was great for a short stay”

Though the location is a bit far from the MRT (if you're coming from Changi airport), but I don't think it's a problem for you to have a short walk, or at least upon your arrival. The hotel is rather near to bus stops, which will directly take you to the city centre in relatively 10-15 mins! I gave 5 stars for that reason. For the hotel itself, it has this good smell (which I wonder is this because of the name of "Fragrance" though) and the ambiance is very calm. I find that my first step to the place is very refreshing! Aligned with what you pay, don't expect anything fancy like a 3-5 stars hotels. The room is small, but it is good enough for me to sleep. Overall I'm satisfied! I will definitely stay here again if I'm visiting Singapore.

Big room with cheap restaurants near by. ”

Having the cheap restaurants with decent food near by really helped us stay on budget. 10 minute walk to the subway, and about a 30 minute drive from the airport. Best hotel we stayed in for Singapore prices. Still could have been a little cleaner, that aside, still a nice room. An extra sweep on the floor and wipe on the desk, could have gone a long way. Air conditioner worked. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Wifi worked pretty well.

Exceptional”

The location is 15mins away from the city via bus. Near one of the best local food stores in Geylang. And very very clean, thanks to Uncles who are very industrious to clean.

one hotel that is cozy, warm and homey!”

i can describe my stay in one word: fantastic! accomodation is nice and worth the money paid for. i will definitely check in next time i visit singapore. good food and wide choices are around the area, i never felt hungry for my entire stay.

Okay for sleeping but not really for staycations”

I only used my room for sleeping and showering. The toilet could be scrubbed better. They didn't sweep under the bed before I checked in. There are also no trash bins in the room so I had to collect it. There was also a stain on the blanket that I only noticed the ffg day, after I've woken up and used it. The room smelled clean; no weird smells. The location is at Geylang. A bit far from the city but very accessible to a bus stop. Not too far from Kallang MRT too. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to.

Most of budget hotels are located nearby, Singapore is not cheap destination..so what you can get for reasonable price is all here...do not expect too much, the hotel does not look like in photos..but it is ok for sleeping

I came to put my luggage first in the morning, then came back to check in and rest at the hotel in the noon. But the receptionist said that the AC in my room is broken. So they prepared a taxi to drive me to another branch of fragrance hotel nearest so i moved in to Fragrance Emerald that day. They gave me free upgrade room to deluxe and paid for the taxi fee. So lucky and thanks to the humble receptionist in Sunflower and Emerald branch.

as to price, there's a lot of cheaper hotel around it. location is in red light area but just near mrt via bus 1 ride. average cleanliness, there are still hair strands and dust in the floor below the table. employees are very accommodating. they even knock to your door to check if you want housekeeping in case you didn't ask for it. cr is very wide but no bidet. room is quite big compare to other hotels in the area.

Worth it ”

The staff is friendly and helpful. It is ok with average price. The house keeping was very nice to change new our water if we give them the used bottle. However, it is quite far from mrt, have to walk about 15 mins.

Friendly and helpfull staff, close to buses that bring you nearly everywhere but this end the good points. Rooms need refreshment and are very basic, they are noisy and you do not have anything to help you store your luggage. It is a basic business hotel with no amenities. At least it is clean. As for the price, Japanese business hotels are far more better value. Singapore hotels are way too expensive for what they offer.

Near Kallang/Aljunied MRT, "walkable" but we prefer to take bus everytime we need to go the MRT. Hawkers are everywhere and other convenient stores with money changers. My husband said its a better location than the one he stayed in geylang close to Aljunied because of the "not-child friendly" enivronment. Haha. Its was a pleasant stay. Rooms are small but it doesn't matter much when you're touring around and not staycationing.

Great Location”

we specifically chose to stay at fragrance sunflower hotel because of its location plus their price is very cheap. their hotel staff are nice and very accommodating they even allowed us to leave our baggage after we checked out so we can still do our last minute shopping without a hassle. overall, our stay with fragrance hotel is good.

Due to is only newly open a few days ago before I stayed,hence everything is good and the air con is ccld . But whoever does not like soft pillow ,take note that this hotel provide super soft pillow.

The room is clean, the smell in the reception room is good (it's room perfum my friends, don't worry), no refrigerator, staff is helpful. In short, it's ok with that price.

Fragrance Hotel - Sunflower”

I had a problem with my booking as it was automatically cancelled but the staff was helpful in accommodating us. The room was nice and clean. Accessible to bus stops and hawkers.

was a nice place to stay , looked like it had a tidy up with fresh paint .. only negative was no fridge in room ,. but over all suited our needs
