Amazing stay at Hotel Re!”

1st me and my wife was looking for budget hotel to stay at Singapore...suddenly we found Hotel Re! @Pearl's Hill in Agoda.com... I only read the review from the same Indonesian that said it was a great hotel to stay for couple with very very high speed internet for FREE and FREE Minibar... When i arrived at this hotel, i found everything was so true... It only take less than 5 minutes to got to Outram Park MRT by foot....or if you don't like walking to far, you may use the shuttle bus which was prepared by the Hotel Re!.... The cleanliness of this room was amazing... The bed was very comfortable... 1 word...It is a HIGHLY Recommended Hotel to stay at Singapore... last but not least, HOTEL RE! was recommended by TripAdvisor.com.sg and also this Hotel got an award for Luxury Hotel..

Hotel to Remember”

I love to travel with my family and I can say Hotel Re is one of the best in Singapore. Hotel is clean, organized and cozy. Staff are friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Though there is a little bit language barrier the staffs really tries to assist us in every possible way. Hotel rate is ok. Nice view and surrounding is quiet, both MRT and bus stations are walking distance and its safe to walk around. One station away from Sentosa and Vivo City, near Chinatown and Clark Quay and Orchard Road. My son loves it here. Best deal.

Great value for convenient location in Singapore”

Great hotel, highly recommended as an affordable option in Singapore. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the Outram Park station, and also walking distance to Clarke Quay or Chinatown for sightseeing. Easy to get to from the airport (just follow the map and walk up the hill, the hotel is very well indicated on signs along the way). Very modern decor and clean, small room. Calm surroundings. Would definitely stay here again. Could not believe the great quality of hotel for the price. Also free snacks included with room!

Comfortable rooms but need extra strength to reach”

hotel re! is value for money. i booked online and get a very special price. as we got off outram mrt, which was the nearest one to the hotel, we missed the signage and end up climbing pearl's hill street all the way to its national park. it was very torturing since we were dragging our suitcases. it turned out, there was another route where you don't have to climb, but still need to walk for about 15 minutes and take stairs. other than that, hotel re! was a pleasant hotel with comfortable rooms. yes, it was far from many tourists attraction, but they provide free shuttle service to nearest mrt, chinatown, little india, marina bay, orchard, etc. overall, value for money

One of the best hotels I've stayed”

sitting on pearl's hill in outram, the interior of the hotel is a stark contrast from its exterior. the check-in process was quick and easy. we were upgraded to the premier rooms for free. one could even choose the colour theme of the rooms. all the colours were rather exciting an that every colour theme was different. we chose the red colour theme and it was beautiful. the room was very cosy with comfortable lightings and decorations. it is about 10 minutes walk away from the outram mrt, and its location was a little secluded. fortunately it had signs placed along the way to direct guests to the hotel. chinatown was rather nearby as well. overall i loved the stay and would come back again.

Best Location, Great Breakfast, Awesome Hotel!”

Superb hotel and loved the overall theme. The best thing is the location. This is at Outram park, just 2 mins walking distance via a shortcut. What's more the hotel has a van (Shuttle) everyday which goes to the MRT station every 20 mins! Now how cool is that! Just in case if you miss it, there's the shortcut from the MRT to the hotel which takes 2 mins to walk too! Can't say enough about a perfect location. 2 stations away from Harbor Front so if you want to goto Senthosa, this is the BEST place. Clarke Quey - for clubbers - is just next door too. Breakfast is awesome, tons of variety and yummy. Nice rock and roll themed hotel, signs on the road to locate the hotel everywhere (Hotel Re this way, hotel Re that way yada yada), fresh fragrance all over the hotel lobby. The only minor issue was the interenet wasn't that good (slow, and getting disconnected sometimes) and there were no TV channels - you can get CDs from the frontdesk for free and watch those movies. Horrible quality TV/CDs (CDs at this age?) tho. But that won't stop me from giving the hotel 10/10 as the room is spacious having everything like even an iron with a board, water bottles, nice staff, location - with their spacious garden unlike a single building hotel. And only one route to the Changi airport too - so no need to change trains. Just sit and go straight to Tannah Merah+ Changi. Would come again for sure and thank you so much. Unique hotel, clean comfortable and stylish!”

This is by far the most memorable and unique hotel I've ever stayed in! The decor is amazing! all of the rooms are themed from the 60s and 70s. Although talking with some guests who had the Marilyn Monroe room , the bright pink walls can be a bit of a headache! The room we had was superb- the most comfortable bed we've slept in during our 1 year travelling asia, the flat screen tv with many english channels, strong wifi, and a nespresso machine for delicious coffee. Also the complementary minibar selection is a very nice touch(with free Pepsi, fruit juice, pringles, cadburys bar and cookies). The bathroom toiletries were locciatine which were lovely, although the only problem we encountered on our trip was the bath flooding over to the floor every time we had a shower, but that was only a slight inconvenience. The location is ok, it's about a ten minute walk down the hill to Metro stop, although they offer a free pickup and drop off to it (although this finishes at 8pm). It's only 2 stops from Clarke Quay and other places. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable hotel in AWESOME PRICE!!”

Stay in the Hotel Re for 1 day and choose a normal deluxe room for limited time promotion(S$120 without tax). I am very satisfy to the hotel as the room is very clean and comfortable. Although the hotel is located on the hill but it is not as far as I think. It was 8-10 minutes walk only from the Outram park MRT(subway). If your luggage is heavy, its better to take a taxi instead of sweating all the way to the hotel. There is free one way shuttle bus service from Hotel to Outram park mrt. I have no idea why they cannot pick us from Outram park mrt since the bus will go back to the hotel in the end. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Firstly the staff gave us a yellow colour deluxe room which my girlfriend don'y really like it. We try to request another pink colour room but its already fully allocated. Anyway its not the hotel fault and we appreciate the help from the hotel staff. The bathroom is clean but still can improve. I do agree with someone in agoda that mentioned about the mold in the bathroom. It is not disgusting actually but it will be much better experience if the management can come out a solution to clear those mold. Overall, I quite enjoy the stay in this hotel. For S$140(include GST and service charge), its really difficult to find such awesome hotel in this price especially in Singapore. Really no regret for the stay. Would like to rate 8.5 out of 10.

All you need”

we originally only planned to be in singapore one night and had booked a hotel at another, more expensive and apparently "more upscale" hotel. we decided to spend an extra night but no spots at the original hotel so stayed at re. re was way better, cheaper, cleaner and offered more complimentary services. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the rooms are brand new, the king sized bed with pillow topper and down pillows was the most comfortable of all during our 3 weeks travelling of se asia. free wi-fi (something hard to come by in singapore), air conditioning, flat screen and cable. rooms are a little small but met the requirements of our hotel needs. located just around the corner from china town and china town metro station. re has a free shuttle to the station. highly recommended hotel!

Amazing little hotel”

Tucked away from the bustling city, yet close enough to get around to the Clarke Quay area & within minutes to the Orchard area. The hotel is quiet, yet vibrant. The thing that hit me 1st was the colour. None of those same old hotel-ish colours. Bright pink all over with white touches. The hotel feels young & cheerful. The deco was just unique. The room was just nice for a weekend stay. How often do we get a feel of bright pink room? The thing I loved the most was the bathroom tiles. I would love to replicate it in my own home! Ordered room service which came timely. Food was served hot, decently priced & taste good. Checking in & out was a breeze. In fact, the room was ready way before the stipulated check-in time. Which is always something I experience whenever I book through Agoda.

Very clean and fun hotel on a hill!”

We checked into Hotel Re at 1am after a lengthy journey from Malaysia via Train. The receptionist told us the room was on the 3rd floor and without a windows! I was quite shocked by this as a window is an absolute requirement for me. We were told every other room was taken and we could possibly change the next day. The next day we got a new room with a large window on the 7th floor, well done Hotel Re! The hotel is very clean and the rooms are almost brand new, without a bit of dust/hair or any dirt in the rooms. This makes you feel very at home and comfortable! Nice large screen TV is good for late night movies and the bed was very comfortable with high quality fabric linen. Shower has constant hot water and good pressure, its also very clean and nicely designed. The room size is very small... we had to keep our luggage closed as there was barely enough room to move around, however it was ok. The only problem would be the hotels location. It's on a slight hill which is a bit far from most of the areas. Its about a 10 to 15min walk to the closes MRT (train system) and can be hot during the day. The hotel offers a shuttle service for free at various times, we do however think that the shuttle service should be more frequent as its quite a task to get a taxi in singapore. No breakfast included in room rate which is a shame. Overall quite happy with Hotel Re and would possibly return.

A secluded gem”

First of all, the front desk officers were helpful and accommodating, and they checked me in even before 2 pm. The hotel is in a secluded area and free from city noise. Pearl's Hill is so near, and it is good for active people who like to jog or go up the hill for a healthy climb. Internet speed is at 20mbps which is simply amazing. Outram Park train station is 8 minutes away on foot. A bus stand for is also nearby. This is indeed a nice hotel.

Good value for money”

in singapore where hotels are general not cheap hotel re offers good value for money. nice rooms with good amenities. as an extra service the hotel offers coke, bottled water and snacks for free in all rooms, which are refilled every day. spending a few days in singapore after traveling for a few months in asia, it was appreciated that hotel is located within walking distance of chinatown where good food can be found at cheap prices, thus making it easier to survive on a budget.

Fantastic Service and Decent Location”

we really enjoyed hotel re!. it is within close walking distance of the mrt and, if you don't feel like walking, the hotel offers a regular shuttle service. the facility overlooks a beautiful park and garden and you can often see people doing tai chi in the morning. some rooms have a lovely view of the city, but it is still very quiet in the hotel. the staff and room service are happy to help you with what you need and always met our requests quickly. the hotel provided us with bottled water (ask the front desk or a maid if you need more) and there was a free mini bar in our room that was replenished daily. also, we had both a tea and espresso maker. a lot of reviewers complain about the bright colors of the hotel, but this was not an issue for me. our room was bright yellow, but it simply seemed warm and cheery -- not blinding. and when the lights are out, you can't tell the difference anyway. overall, our stay here was great. i would definitely stay here if we visit singapore again!

Hotel with a style and good service”

The Hotel Re! at pearl's hill provides you convenient location - a few minutes cab to Central, friendly staff service, relaxing environment, reasonable facility e.g. gym and restaurant, a speacial theme of 80's - if you are a fan of 80's pop, you find your home Overall it is good value of money and a special hotel to live in.

Good Budget Hotel!”

My fiance and I stayed at Hotel Re Pearl's Hill in July 2014. We chose it mainly because of the price- and to try a hotel that's completely funky green/pink themed! The location was alright- kind of far from the main attractions- but was walking distance to the subway which was great. The shuttle bus to the station helped as well. We arrived earlier than the check-in time but the front desk allowed us to store our luggage with them so that was much appreciated. Now, for the rooms. We stayed inside one of the bright pink rooms, and that was definitely different. Kind of felt like we were in a teenage girl's dream room, haha. Probably won't choose it again unless we were on the same tight budget. However, it was very clean, and there was enough space. Easy check in and out. One of the only cons we had were being able to clearly hear the loud people in the hallway.

A little brand new hidden gem”

Found this little hidden gem from internet and the reviews have been quite positive... So, we gave it a try! Turned out to be quite an awesome experience. Service at front desk was awesome and we the fact that it's quite near to Clark Quay is just an extra advantage. many taxi drivers still don't know about this new hotel, but I'm sure it won't be for long Totally a good base for a trip to Singapore.

Great place to base yourself in Singapore”

Hotel Re! offered great value for money in quite an expensive city for accommodation. It is well located near the MRT and is only a short walk from there. In our room they gave complimentary cans of Pepsi, prawn crackers and mixed nuts, as well as a copy of The Straits Times each morning. The rooms were comfortable, even if some would say a bit smallish, but this is Singapore, where space is at a premium! I enjoyed my stay in Singapore and Hotel Re! was a great place to base ourselves for our time there.

Basic hotel on a hill. Secluded so need taxi/bus ”

Hotel is converted from the old Pearl's Hill School building, so a lot of the structure from the school is still apparent. Lots of stainless steel bars takes away from the feel of a hotel, more of a feel of an office building. The amenities were basic. No swimming pool. Just not very inviting to stay in the lobby unless you are having food at the cafe. Deco is a little too funky colored. Complimentary slippers are plastics ones that will be re-used. Toiletries are basic although you will have what you need, but nothing luxurious about it. Bed is too soft. Flat screen TV is good. Bar fridge is good and cold. Ironing board is a quarter of what I was expecting, but I managed to get the job done. A little lacking in wall plugs. I only found 3 in the room and non of them near enough to the bed.

We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Re! It's unlike any hotel in Singapore due to its funky decor. I loved the retro theme throughout and our room. I didn't want to leave! Modern design, big flat-screen TV, and lots of goodies such as cans of Pepsi, crisps and Oreos which were all complimentary. We ate in the restaurant and used the 50% voucher we were given when we checked in so the food was very reasonable and absolutely delicious. The bar is also really funky. Enjoyed a Singapore Sling in a lovely relaxed setting. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay here again next time I'm in Singapore for sure!
