Good Hotel, with a twist”

Royal@Queens, Location on about 100m to entrance of MRT station, which is huge plus for Singapore, saves a ton of money on transport cost. Just a short stroll away from Bugis for shopping or Sim Lim for any phone or IT goody you can think of. The rooms is fairly big for Singapore and were very clean. There is a small fridge in the room as well. Staff, were very friendly and assisted with holding belonging while I went running every morning. THE TWIST..... breakfast. The hotel cater for a lot of tour groups that leave very early. If you plan on having a late breakfast, do not expect to have a wide veriety. They do not refill stock when finished. Although breakfast ends at 10:30 the staff start clearing the breakfast from 10am. When enquiring about the above, we were answered that breakfast ends at 10:30, meaning you must be finished eating by 10:30, they expect guest to have dished up by 10am latest. For the rest we enjoyed our stay, I will return to Hotel Royal@queens, but not book for breakfast.

First time went to Singapore, didn't know anything about hotel there. I chose Royal @ Queens and i've chosen the best one. Clean, big room, good breakfast,good location (near bras basah MRT st & Bencoolen mrt st also near from Bugis+). Hope will be back to SG and stay in Royal @Queens again.

Awesome trip in Singapore”

Very peaceful and comfortable. The room not quite big but it's really clean. Good equipment for the customer. The hotel located in good position where located near MRT. No breakfast, wifi is free but busy to log in. Safety and good cleaning from the housekeeper. No city view but from the room can see the Singapore Flyer. the staff should more respect the customer' information (the birth date), I mean they shouldn't laugh when see the personal information. Over all, this hotel itself is really good 'peaceful and comfortable' I prefer to book the Royal @ Queens hotel again of I go to Singapore next time.

HI, I had be staying in hotel Royal @ Queen a lot of time. From the moment you check in until you check out the service of the hotel is the best. They really there to help you and providing the best information to your question. The breakfast is nice too. Only 1 thing which during my very first time staying in this hotel's feedback to the hotel and until at this lastest stay ( 18 Jan 2016 ) that the hotel still never improve is having stay in this 4 star hotel they can't even provide 2 free mineral water to the room guests. The hotel must ALWAYS remember is small little refreshment will impact a great image of the hotel and happy of the guest whom travel 10 over hrs of flight to here ( singapore )which you can get 3 bottle NTUC mineral only cost 95 cents. A bit of cost but can bring back a lot guests to the hotel. please look into my suggestion. thank hope to see some changes when I am back to this hotel again,

the hotel royal at queens had exceeded my expectations.As a first timer tourist in singapore , I've enjoyed my stay because of the quality of rest and comforts that the hotel i choose gave us. from a busy and long walk of tours and travels each day. a relaxing and soothing ambiance is what awaits us when we go back to are room at the end of the day. Indeed i can truly say its a Royal hotel that treats the guests like royalties with its amenities has to offer to tourist like us. Long live the Hotel Royal at Queens!

Great Location, Comfortable rooms, Good service”

We stayed in royal @ queens for four nights. Our overall impression is good. Hotel has comfortable fairly large rooms with a large bed. Room and bathroom were both very clean. Large window with a view; we could even see the Singapore Flyer in the 6th floor. The breakfast included in the package had a good variety. The hotel did not charge us more for our son's breakfast which we did not expect. Free internet facility was very useful. The only negative point was that the people manning the travel information desk were not helpful

hotel is convenient. situated right at queens st. if riding taxi, just tell them hotel royal at queens st and they will know. mrt station is right at your doorstep. everything is really just within a stone-throw. theres a bugis mall nearby which has lots and lots of good restaurant. there is also a shopping mall for the ladies. very peaceful street at night which is best for a good night's sleep after a tiring day of nonstop walking. the buffet breakfast is also great. so are the rooms which has comfortable beds and has a very neat comfort room.

Affordable price for Superb Location”

This is actually my second stay at the Hotel Royal at Queens. I would definitely recommend this hotel for it's fantastic location and affordable price. Located within 1 minute to Singapore Arts Museum and about 5 minutes walk to National Museum of Singapore, It's a must stay for Arts and Museum goers! This hotel is accessible to Orchard area via subway station and bus station which is located within 1 minute walk from the hotel. I have actually saved up on lots of taxi fees by staying here by taking public transportation. I have had a very pleasant stay again this time and will definitely stay here again during my next visit to Singapore!

Good find! Nice hotel, good sized room”

we usually stay on bencoolen street but due to building the new mtr this wasn't a viable option. royal@queens was very close by wih good reviews so we gave it a try. royla@queens is a good standard hotel with large rooms and an excellent breakfast, great location next to art museum and right next to the bras basah mtr.. good service but the wifi in the room was a little unstable. all in all excellent value and we'll use it again!

Hotel Royals @ Queens is located in a very peaceful street. Likewise, it is very accessible to any public transport. It's just walking distance to Bugis Village where you can buy items at a very reasonable price. The Hotel room is clean and comfortable, room lights are e-touch. Wifi internet is fast. We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Royal @ Queens and we will recommend this to our family and friends.

Very Nice and Comfy Hotel”

Our 4-day trip to Singapore was made more pleasant with our accommodation at Hotel Royal at Queens. The lobby was not that big but elegant. Their staff at the reception desk was very courteous and even the Manager was smiling at us and greeted as warmly.The room we had was modest but very comfortable for a couple. We were amazed by the cleanliness of our room after we put on the "Make up Room' button daily. Buffet breakfast has a lot of choices and almost all the food we partake are delicious. Location is excellent, near 3 Catholic Churches and more important a few steps from the MRT and Bus stations

we really enjoyed staying at hotel royal@queens. the service was of the highest standard, staff very friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast offered a great selection of foods, and freshly made omelets made to your request. the hotel is conveniently placed 100 metres from the railway station and convenient to all places of interest. the rooms are comfortable, and all that was needed for our stay. well done hotel royal

Picking out a hotel based upon online reviews is not my favorite thing - but we SCORED with this hotel. Many old reviews state the hotel rooms are not very clean. The hotel has apparently been undergoing a thorough cleaning of all their rooms and I have not a single complaint about cleanliness. Our room was always spotless, and there was no smell of smoke. We were traveling with young children so I wanted somewhere clean (check), big enough for a baby cot (check), curtains that blocked out the light during the day for naps (check), breakfast included (ours was, and the breakfast was perfect - good selection, the same every day, but there was always toast, eggs, fruit, yogurt, along with a variety of Asian dishes - so we always had enough to eat and it was a very decent buffet). I wanted a pool for afternoon swims (check - the pool is a bit narrow, and sunny in afternoon, but hey - its a pool! and if your little ones can't swim yet, there is even a shallow pool too) I also wanted to be near a train stop (check - literally two minute walk away). On top of this, the hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and courteous. The location of the hotel was amazing - SO much to see and do just in the blocks right around the hotel. We are Americans who live in Southeast Asia, so we know what Westerners generally like, and also know what is usually on offer in SEA. We were so pleased with, and comfortable with, our stay here. It is not "fancy", but it IS fantastic. I would recommend it, and I hope we get to go again!!

hotel royal @ queens is very near to the restaurants, shopping mall, train stations, bus stops and if you are a roman catholic, the church is just across the hotel. their staff are courteous and ready to help. checking in and out is a breeze. cleanliness is okay, beds and pillows are comfy, water pressure is great, with free tea and coffee making facilities (replenish everyday).buffet breakfast have wide selection and good but expensive when not included in your package.overall stay at this hotel is a thumbs up

Awesome location and comfortable rooms”

we were very happy with this hotel and would stay there again. the lobby was not at all impressive but the rooms were modern, clean, very quiet and comfortable. feather pillows and duvets as well as a large flat screen tv made it pleasant to spend some time in the room relaxing. most of the time though we toured the city and found hotel royal centrally located for all the major sites. we could easily walk to little india, little arab street, clarke and boat quay and raffles. if we didn't feel like walking the mrt subway line was just a few steps outside the front door. we were more than satisfied with the breakfast and internet and found the price reasonable.

As I left the hotel I told the manager that for us, regular visitors to Singapore, the hotel was just right and that we would definitely stay with them again. My reasons for this recommend was due to a variety of assets, the greatest being its location with only 2 or 3 stops on the MRT to get to all the main places. Add to that friendly and efficient service, good Internet (although not WiFi), more than adequate rooms with all necessary fittings and a reasonable price and that was all we needed. Other facilities like the lounge area and restaurant are a little small but breakfast was fine and we always found a table. We shall stay with Hotel Royal@Queens again.

Friendly Hotel”

This hotel was one of those we used as a base for our French Trainer during this month, we travelled in & out of Singapore for the past 2 months so many times I've accompanied her into the hotels & experienced the following in the Hotel Royal@Queens: 1) the room is of a good size & even though it was close to the road, it's not noisy 2) the hotel staff remembered her by name whenever we came back. 3) the breakfast was good, compared to other hotels we stayed in. 4) the location was even better, this is the part that makes this hotel value for money compare to the others, the MRT is only a stone throw away & the you have restaurants & eateries in all directions. It fits all budgets.

Excellent location”

We stayed at the Hotel Royal @ Queens for almost 22 days for work. The location is excellent, close to Bras Basah, City Hall and Bugis MRT Stations. The hotel is clean with good service. The breakfast is okay but after the third day of eating the same food, it became really difficult to bear. The hotel could use some renovation as it is starting to be a little worn down, but I suspect that this is also one of the reasons why the rates are so reasonable for a hotel in such strategic location. All in all, it was a comfortable stay.

hotel royal @ queens was a comfortable hotel, extremely close to the mrt station (bras basah) and only minutes from bugis (markets). the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. one thing to note, free wifi only available in the lobby. otherwise it was worth the money we paid.
