equariusm, a new hotel within rws”

please note that this is a review for equarius hotel, not festive hotel. festive hotel was fully-booked, so we were transferred to equarius hotel, which is a new hotel within resorts world sentosa. we requested a twin room during booking, but unfortunately we were given a double room, instead! the room was huge and luxurious, with equally huge bathroom! there were even 2 wash basins in the bathroom, with a tv! only half of the rooms in this hotel were operational, with the other half still undergoing renovation work. the only downside is that equarius is not connected to the other hotels and casino, so one has to take a shuttle bus to the main buildings. shuttle buses, unfortunately, stop operating at 10 pm, but on-call buggies and vans are available. but, one may have to wait quite long. on one occassion, i had to wait for more than half an hour to be picked up from hard rock hotel back to equarius. the other downside is that internet is chargeable, just like most hotels in singapore. and unlike other locations downtown where one can just go to a nearby starbucks to access wireless@sg wifi, there's no starbucks at rws. there's only one coffee bean at the casino side, but there's no wireless@sg! the gym and pool were also not operational yet, but one could get complimentary access to hard rock hotel pool and gym.

The best place to spend your vacation!”

Our stay at Resorts World Sentosa-Festive Hotel was wonderful! The hotel was very comfortable to stay in, with its beautiful and clean room. The hotel room is very convenient for families traveling with young children because they have a sofa bed apart from the regular hotel bed which the children can sleep in. Our room was always cleaned by the staff, with refills of water and items from the mini-bar, which can be very welcome after returning from a long day of sightseeing and going around places. Their staff are very friendly and accommodating, always ready and willing to assist guests with directions and transportation. The hotel's location is also an advantage because it is very accessible to the famous tourist spots in Singapore like Universal Studios and Sentosa Park. Overall, I can say that Festive Hotel is worth your money with the great service they assure to give you in return.

Nice location but small room”

My family stayed overnight at Resorts World Sentosa-Festive Hotel. We booked the family room w/ loft bed. Our room was very child friendly but it was smaller than pictured in the brochures/website. The swimming pool was also very child friendly and not crowded. My son enjoyed the hotel very much as it was very near the Universal Studios, which was really the reason why we traveled once again to Singapore. I just noticed that upon booking, there was no offer in the site if we want to be fetched at the airport upon arrival, so we had to take the taxi to get to the Hotel. The meals were also great and the staff were service oriented and friendly.We will definitely stay again in this hotel next time we visit Singapore. Singapore is my favourite place to visit because it is very clean and green and the public transport is very service friendly, but it is also one of the most expensive places I've visited.

Very nice Hotel and at the great location”

from the first step into resorts world sentosa - festive hotel we were greeted with a smile and a room upgrade to the family suite. the room was clean and plenty of space for all of us. the pool was nice and relaxing too. the resorts world sentosa - festive hotel is walking distance to universal studios singapore and the casino, even if you don't gamble, go in and check it out, its amazing. if you catch the sentosa monorail from the resorts world waterfront station its just 1 stop to vivo city, a place to go for shopping and food. if you want to head to china town, you can catch the mrt from vivo city as it has a mrt station which is easy to use. overall we had a great stay and we are looking forward to our next trip back.

An experience you shouldn't miss”

Traveling is one of our hobbies now as a family.. Aside from having quality time with each other, we will always cherish our relax time inside our room in the hotel so we always look for a best hotel to stay in. We also consider value for money and we have chosen resorts world sentosa festive hotel. We made the right decision as we arrived at the lobby. It's spacious, it's cold, it's relaxing. We were able to go up to our room immediately. The room is big enough for us, a couple and two kids age 4&6. Our children liked very much the little bed on the loft. My 6 yr old opt to sleep there during our stay. The whole place i can say is awesome. There were so much things to do, swimming, shopping and eating out with your whole family. It was a great vacation indeed for us. 2-thumbs up for resorts world sentosa festive hotel!

Perfect Hotel for Family with young kid”

When we booked Festive hotel through internet we tough the room size just standard. We also preparing to spend our time around hotel area. We did early check in, at 12pm, and the room are not ready yet. They promise at 2.30pm the room are ready for us. They gave us monorail ticket so we can have our lunch at Vivo Mall. One room ready as they promises and we have to wait for another room. the room is bigger than we though from internet. We forgot to remarks baby coths when we made booking but they provide it, thank you. We love our rooms very clean, nice arrangement room as we see the guest left the room really messy. That is why they need more time to clean up the rooms (good job for housekeeping). My kids love the swimming pool very much, and we can go to Hard Rock hotels swimming pools too. We did not have breakfast at this hotel, but we can easily find inside Resort World Sentosa. Many restaurant you can choose from western to Asian food. We found Festive hotel location is better than others hotel in Resort Worlds Sentosa. You can use tunnel link to go others hotel, shop, restaurant and Universal Studio. We are pleased with this hotel and my wife will put Festive on her list for next holiday.

Lovely birthday gift from Resort World Festive ”

We arrived early at Resort World Festive because of our early flight, checked in but room was not yet available. When hubby and I came back after 2 hours, we were pleasantly surprised for an upgrade from deluxe to the suite room. It was a beautiful , spacious room with a mini kitchen without a microwave, a dining table, a sofa bed with a flat tv and then another room for the bedroom with its own flat tv. There were also two verandas looking out into Sentosa and the front entrance of Festive Hotel. The bathroom was my favorite with its own jacuzzi, separate shower and toilet and two sinks, his and hers. When we inquired at the concierge for tickets for Universal Studios, we were kindly offerfed the Resort world invites which entitles the member to two adult ticket with fast pass at Universal Studios , a welcome drink and cupcake and a gift pillow, and point system with most of the restaurants and shoppes at Resort World . The shoppes and restaurant are just few minutes away from the Resort World Festive Hotel and are they are plenty.

i have proudly endorsed festive hotel-resorts world sentosa to my friends who are planning to visit sentosa in singapore because of our wonderful experience in this hotel. the staff are very helpful to families with kids, the rooms are enough to accomodate adults and children, very comfortable beds, very clean rooms, nice swimming pool, the hotel offer promos like free tickets to universal studios and maritime museum. what could you ask for more in this hotel? thank you festive hotel sentosa!!!we will definitely come back and stay with you again...

If you have smaller kids, this is your dream hotel”

Festive hotel raises the bar very high indeed. This is absolutely the hotel you need to be in when travelling to Singapore with younger children. And this comes from a very picky customer from Japan The resort has everything to ensure that your kids are occupied and you can either have some quiet time yourself OR, better yet, find out what it is to be a kid again. - Well mannered and courteous staff; believe me, this makes a huge difference - Very clean and well equipped rooms. Hats off to house-keeping - Superb sleeping facilities including adorable loft bed - Plenty of closet space for a long stay - Huge balcony with clothes drying facilities - Lovely pool with access to any of the other hotels' pools (try the Hard Rock pool for your kids!) - Delicious buffet breakfast @ the Fiesta - Walkable distance to all Sentosa attractions; this is a BIG deal if you're not used to Singapore humidity The only complaint I could conjure up is that the hot water from the shower was not really hot...but hey, its SINGAPORE! Who needs hot water for a shower no less?! Very highly recommended. Book well in advance - extremely popular.

Great Hotel, Service and Location”

We stayed there for 3 nights in March 2012. When the taxi approach Resorts World we were already excited by seeing the Resorts World sign and Universal Studios. The ground are beautiful as well as the main lobby. Staff are very friendly and check-in was simple and quick. We booked a standard room queen with a sofa bed but when the staff member noticed we had two young children (4 and 8mo) he upgraded us to the family room immediately which was great. This room contained the loft bed which is great for older kids, but since my daughter was nearly 4yrs it was too high and I had to sleep with her up there. It's more a king-single size. The Festive Pool is nice, very basic. However as a Resort World guest you are also entitled to use the Hard Rock Hotel pool which is a lot bigger and nicer. The location is central to the Festive Walk shops, restaurants and fountains. Universal Studios is also a hop and skip away. I would definitely come back to Festive Hotel and Resort World. It's just too bad that Singapore is too hot and extremely humid for my liking.

Great Sleep - Beautiful Facilities”

The beds were the most comfortable I have had in Asia. Although you could be forgiven for not realising you are actually in Asia. Resorts World is very western and it was hard to believe sometimes that I wasnt somewhere on the Gold Coast in Australia! Resorts World has opened a Malay Street Market eatery which is an excellent addition and gives you the Asian feel and food. I didnt try any of the expensive restaurants as I was very happy at the Malay St Mkt for meals around $3.50!!! Resorts World is well set out. Beautiful and clean and exactly what you would expect for the price you have paid. I didnt have any of the buffets at Festive as they were around $30 per meal or more! The rooms were very quiet with excellent black out curtains and double glazed balcony doors. Room service was prompt although a bit over priced - small bowl of hot chips was $12!! The pool was lovely and you can pakc your towel and sit under one of the little huts and very comfortable! We went to Vivo-City supermarket for additional supplies and got yoghurts etc from 7-11 a short walk out of the hotel just near Noodle8. Noodle8 satay was amazing! You could easily spend 4 days in Resorts World & Sentosa doing activities and a bit longer if you just want to sit around and do nothing which it is also very pleasant to do here. Highly recommended however note that the hotel has VERY long corridors so if u struggle to walk distances be sure to ask for a room closer to the lifts when checking in!

Truly family-oriented”

Resorts World Sentosa - Festive Hotel is a great place to stay in when you have children with you. The Deluxe room is quite small for a 3 to 4-member family, but they provide a fold-up sofa bed to accommodate everyone. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and situated near the highlights of Resorts World Sentosa, particularly the shops outside and Universal Studios. The hotel's services are quite expensive though, so try not to get tempted in using their broadband internet access or their laundry services.

We had a fun and memorable experience during our stay at Resorts World Festive Hotel in Sentosa as we celebrated my daughter's 2nd birthday. We got the flash deal here in Agoda for Deluxe 3D2N inclusive of 3 attractions. My daughter had the best time of her life and have always cherished our Singapore trip because of such superb experience. We are planning to book here again next year and would definitely make it 5 days instead. It was all worth it and we're very happy to have chosen to stay here. Moreover staffs are very friendly, accommodating and responds quickly. I have recommended it to my family members, relatives and friends. Big thumbs up!!!

Satisfy For All Your Needs”

This is the first time my family and I having holiday in Singapore. I am very glad that I got a good rate to stay in Festive Hotel - Deluxe Family King through Agoda. We went at around 9.30 am and manage to register very smoothly, prompt and with smile. We left our baggage in the hotel and went to Universal Studio which is just about 8 mi walk. When we came back to Festive Hotel at around 3.30 pm,our room was ready. I got a room near to the lift with bathtub as requested. When entering the room, it was hat I saw in the photo gallery. my children really enjoy the room especially with the bulk bed even though my eldest is already 15th. We were provided with complimentary ticket for the monorail ( Sentosa Express)to vivocity - big mall with nearly everything in. The next day we went for other attraction of Sentosa nearby. i sure will come back to this hotel for my next visit.

It's our first time at Festive. Very nice hotel in best location : Sentosa, close to Universal Studio and inside Sentosa Island, a very famous place in Singapore. We got the room on 4th floor facing to the pool where we can see swimmers and children swam. Inside the hotel there are many branded shops which sell many things like lingeriies, body lotion, watches, bags, etc. Around the hotel there are many restaurants which are clean, good taste and acceptable prices. And also, all day long casino. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was very comfortable. We had a pleasant stay. The only problem is no wifi provide in the room. Festive hotel has a wonderful location particularly for tourist like us.

Great hotel for family with young children”

We enjoyed our stay in Festive Hotel as it was close to major attractions in Resort World Sentosa. The room was big enough to accommodate us and our two kids (3-month old & 2-year old). The 3d2n deal from Agoda was value for money as it included room stay and 2 complimentary tickets to each of the 3 major attractions. The only complaint we had about the hotel was the sewage smell from the bathroom water trap. The water flow in wash basin was slow and the position of the tap was too far and made it uncomfortable for long use.

We picked Festive Hotel for our vacation stay in Singapore. It was our first time to stay in such a very luxurious 5-star hotel. It was very accessible to Universal Studios, Sentosa and Resorts World and Hard Rock plus shopping malls around and many restaurants.The Receptionist was very courteous. The room we had was very big,modern and comfortable. We felt very relaxed. We can highly recommend this Festive Hotel to travelers.

Great hotel for kids”

We love Resorts World Sentosa as a whole and Festive Hotel is one of our favorite hotels. Our room was right outside the pool and we can access the pool from our hallway, without needing to ride the elevator or walk by the lobby. The room had a loft bed and a sofa bed so it could comfortably accommodate 4. Right outside the hotel are restaurants, a casino, shopping, and Universal Studios Singapore.

Beautiful room by the pool”

We got a room on the ground floor with door opening out to the swimming pool. The swimming pool at Festive Hotel is a lot smaller than the one at Hard Rock Hotel next door. Guests at Festive may walk over to Hard Rock to use the swimming pool there. There are plenty of superb dining facilities in Resorts World Sentosa. The place is conveniently connected to the city/main island and other parts of Sentosa island through monorail.
