Seoul ”

The location is excellent being only 5 minutes walk from the MTR station that will take you to both airports. The MTR will also take you anywhere you want to go throughout Seoul. The rooms are great and the staff is excellent. The breakfast buffet is a little lacking in choice, but the food that is provided was still of good quality.

Great hotel, bad location”

The hotel itself is very good. The rooms I had looked more like a studio than a hotel room, which gave my a good feeling. Everyday you get two complementary bottles of water and the staff (including the cleaning personnel) is very friendly and helpful. The view from the hotel is also quiet nice looking down on the river and the Seoul World Cup stadium on the other side. The bad thing about the hotel is the location. Yes, it's close to Gimpo airport, but other than that there is not much to do in the area. For a decent restaurant or any other activities you'll always have to take a taxi to go to different places.

Quality hotel with convenient location”

The Niagara was extremely clean and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and had a unique window into the room. The room was small, but had quality features including a comfortable bed, light control panel bedside, coffee maker, blackout curtains (key for baby naps) etc...The only downside was that the breakfast was terrible. Really, not a good option if you're used to Western style breakfast.

Price isn't so good considering it's located not the centre in Seoul but it's a good hotel.

Nice”

It was fantastic to stay at this hotel, I have stayed here before in 2009, and would wish to stay at the same hotel on my next trip. It is not fare from the airport, city is within easy access. Services, room facitilies, areas around, conference room, reception, food all was good. You can really have a nice time in the night hanging around, its safe. I recommend to stay at this hotel.

Decent hotel, conveniently located”

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to stay in the vicinity of Gimpo airport for a stopover. You wouldn't necessarily want to spend a whole holiday here, since there is little to see or to do in the immediate neighbourhood. The hotel is very clean, but the service is middle class. E.g. there was noone to help us carry the numerous suitcases up to our room. Another example is that, although the lift only goes to the floor that is programmed into your card and you need the same card for switching on the lights in the rooms, we were only given one card for two people. So if one of us left the room, either he couldn't take the lift back, or the other person stayed in the dark. These are only minot points though, and all in all there is little you can do wrong in choosing this hotel for a few nights.

Double day stay”

The hotel itself is of good quality with high-speed internet and comfortable rooms and with Agoda I got a good price for it. However, the location is not great. There are a few restaurants at walking distance and in case you want to have fun at night, you'll have to take a taxi somewhere. I have to say though, plenty of taxi's around, but preferably you want to have night life on walking distance from your hotel.

Decent Hotel at a Fairly Reasonable Price”

i liked the fact that the hotel was within easy walking distance of both bus stops and metro (subway) lines. both are easy and inexpensive ways to move around the city, especially if you have a public transportation card. the public transportation card can be bought at the local convenience store (such as family mart) and can be reloaded almost anywhere. other than the ease of using local public transportation, the clean, fairly quiet rooms and the complimentary bottles of water were the other main pros for this hotel. i would like to see agoda offer a free meal (possibly breakfast) with their reduced price to make this an even more reasonable deal.

Location”

the location is good. it is somewhat secluded in the form of proximity to most areas, so you would need to take the tube, taxi or bus in order to go anywhere. airport limousine will bring you close to the hotel. power adapters are loaned for free. the view is really great. no matter what room you have, you'll have the view over the river and the roads. and as far as i could tell, you'll see areas such as the world cup stadium etc. i would recommend watching a 4d movie while in seoul. it's a different experience. be warned if you have back ache etc. the breakfast was ok, but not cheap. it cost me 17.680 won each day, and i would say it was not worth it. the problem is though that there isn't that many restaurants etc. around the hotel. at least as i could see. seoul is developing, and would increase in size drastically over the years to come. so i'm interested as to coming back in a couple years and compare. i would recommend taking a trip down to gangnam area, which would be the fashionable area of seoul. well worth it.

Western Name Recognition, Not Much Else”

Booked based on Agoda website’s info regarding location & airport xsfers. Info proved totally wrong. Although Agoda constantly runs its disclaimer about being only an online booking service, seems they are no longer concerned about the credibility of what appears on that website. Agoda claimed in 3 separate emails they’d contacted the hotel to have them respond to my questions. Agoda also gave me an email address to which I sent the hotel a message. No response at all. At Gimpo Airport, was informed hotel had NO xsfer service…that I would have to pay & take a bus there. Called hotel, was told they had no service FROM the airport, but that they would provide back TO airport. Considered cancelling the reservation altogether but policy said no refunds for "no shows." I took a taxi there & requested a meeting with manager, Mr. Kim. He reimbursed my taxi fee. so I told him if the hotel would take me back to the airport, I would not cancel my room. Western guests know Best Western name, usual standards. Niagara didn’t measure up. While very clean, room only "average" in terms of amenities. Certainly not worth the rate. Bed like concrete. Not enough pillows. Restaurant menu limited, pricey. Limited items in room--2 coffee sticks, 2 Korean teabags, 2 waters, no snacks or other beverages. Also 2 alarm clocks, but neither worked. As for return xfer to airport, turns out shuttle didn’t run on Sundays, but they sent me in a taxi. Insisted hotel pay & to their credit, they did. Finally, with regard to location...Agoda website indicates it’s less than 5k from airport. Took more than 40 minutes to get there in traffic & at one point the taxi driver said we still had "about 8k to go." Even with no traffic, took about 30. Website obviously wrong about that, as well. My advice: unless given a free stay or attending some meeting in the building or nearby, DON’T book Niagara Best Western-- a poor value for the money & location is beyond inconvenient.

Valuable Money for Staying”

It was nice staying for one night with my young son and valuable money for spending. Each room has very nice river view and you can also see that great view when you are in the bath tub while taking a shower. Also, room size is enough. The restaurant's food was not tasty but it's okay because there are many restaurant near the hotel. I will consider staying again if it's possible next time.

Stayed at 12th floor for two days”

Nice view and very comfortable beds. Stayed other hotels before around Kang-Ser areas, but this hotel is much better and reasonable.

service was prompt when required”

i was staying 3 nights in this hotel and had a pleasant experience with the fast and prompt service. The reception staffs were happy to help 24/7. The room is very clean and feels almost new, bed was comfortable and the toilet has standing shower and long bath. Overall, i had a very 'clean' feeling as i am a very fussy traveller when comes to cleanliness of the toilet etc.

checkin fast and efficient rooms as expected, very clean breakfast a great dissapointement, poor choice, eg, scrambled eggs were reconstituted powdered eggs. Fruit juice also reconstituted powder... too sweet Agoda advance booking gave us a good deal, walk in rate expensive

Hotel is a bit isolated and car or taxi is a must. Other than this, room is nice, large and clean.

Old lady, refurbished but ageing again”

Good size room, but smallish bathroom. Very little amenities. Restaurant is small and has (very) limited menu. Breakfast is not good, I took breakfast at Golden Seoul for same price but much better. Star system in Korea is to high. This is a 3 1/2 star by western standards.

Located near to Gimpo Airport, taxi normally take 10,000 to 12,000 Won. Rooms are very clean and tidy. Ideal for business travel if the meeting area is in an around Gimpo Airport.
