Efficient and Very Clean”

The area which the hotel is situated is near to everything, business, shopping, amusement park, palaces, restaurants, and clubs. The hotel is like a home away from your home. Everything that you need can be found in the hotel, phone rental, laundry wire to hang your clothes, safety vault, weighing scale(to make sure you won't be taking excess baggage on your departure day). I'm really amazed of everything the hotel has that other 4-5 star hotels don't have. I love the automatic toilet's wash and massage options!!! We had a very good peaceful stay for a week at Novotel except that the lift was a bit odd, it took us 3-5minutes to wait for the lift, every time we wanted to go down. We weren't bothered anyway and didn't ask the hotel's staff about the "always waiting lift". Over all, I'd like to recommend Novotel Ambassador Gangnam Hotel to businessmen and family who are visiting Seoul, Korea.

Excellent stay”

First trip to Seoul and the stay at Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam was extremely pleased. Centrally located and a wide variety of F&B in the vicinity. Not forgetting the breakfast spread was outstanding. Wouldn't consider other hotels in the near future.

Lovely hotel and great location but expensive”

I have stayed in Novotel Seoul Ambassador Gangnam hotel for 10 days. I had a good time in the hotel. I love the hotel and its service specially i like to eat in the japanese restaurant shammut. Also i enjoyed sauna in third floor of the hotel. I think sauna internet should be free for guests. These services were very expensive. The free wi-fi service wasn't work. The hotel location and room was good.

great location and good value of your money”

we calm to the hotel quite early. but nikki at the front desk were so accomodating.our room was supposed to be available at 2 pm however, we check in earlier than 2.this was not our first time to stay at this hotel .we were here 2010 same date dec. 27.my children love the hotel because of its location,the food,the staff and the cleanliness of the room.one difference between queen size bed and twim bed, in a queen size bed the room is a little bit spacious as compared to twin size. anyway in totality,novotel gangnam is the best.this year when we go back to seoul for a holiday we might again stay in this hotel.

Great location, amazing staff ”

Novotel is right at the heart of Gangnam. Just minutes away from lots of both local and western restaurants, shopping, and subway station. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. What pleased me the most though was the service. I desperately needed a taxi on my first day in Seoul. However, traffic was terrible due to bad weather. The concierge staff did everything he could to help me out including accompanying me to the main road to hail a taxi. I got to my meeting just in time thanks to his help. Highly recommended!

Great location for business and pleasure. ”

Highly recommend the Novotel Seoul Ambassador Gangnam. I was there for business meetings and stayed two nights. The staff are all really friendly and pretty much everyone speaks intermediate English. There is a cool lounge on the lobby floor which is perfect for business meetings. There is also a few restaurants although I went out for dinner. The location is superb with close proximity to a main shopping street in Gangnam. One IMPORTANT thing to keep in mind. If you are staying there on the weekend (Fri/Sat) be sure to request a room that is street facing. There is a club on the back side (EDEN) which is very noisy on the weekends, with clubbers coming in and out, cars, etc. I had a backside room Fri night and the staff were very cool and changed my room even though it was 11 pm at night. Overall highly recommended and I will stay again.

Good hotel at great location”

this is probably the very best novotel in the world. perfectly located in the centre of seoul: gangnam. and with beautiful and comfortable rooms. tip: always take the business package since this includes a welcome drink, breakfast, internet connection and usage of the fitness centre and sauna facilities.

Once again, I had a great stay at the Novotel Seoul Ambassador Gangnam. Always a pleasure coming back to Seoul and especially to that district! Lots of restaurants nearby, also, lots of shopping. From airport, easy access with the KE Limo bus, however, careful at the peak hour, can take forever. Also, leaving the Hotel back to Incheon, better to cross the street and take the KE Limo than taking it from the Hotel. The KE Limo are operating Incheon-Hotels-Incheon so you end up stopping by other hotels before taking the direction of Incheon airport.

Friendly staff”

I chose the Novotel for my residence for the New Years Eve weekend. I could not have made a better choice for the money. From the beginning until the end this hotel was exceptional in nearly every facet of professionalism and enjoyment. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is not only staying in Gangnam, but who is staying in Seoul in general.

Lovely hotel with great service”

Stayed in Novotel Seoul Ambassador Gangnam for 5 nights. Staff were friendly and very helpful. In addition, the Rooms were comfortable cosy.

Great location, great service and clean rooms!”

We are from Sydney, stayed at Novotel Gangnam for the first time and we loved the place! Staff were friendly, always polite and the hotel certainly looked and felt more than a 4-star hotel. We stayed in the standard room, lots of space and the hotel is very conveniently located. Most destinations we went to could be reached within $5AUD by taxi. Train station was only a short walk down. Octogon Club (awesome club) for drinks and a bit of a boogie is only down the road.

Great stay”

Had a very pleasant stay while touring Seoul for 4 days. Always nice to get back to the hotel after a day of touring. Very nice buffet style breakfast offering a broad selection of food including western. One might want to consider a hotel location on the other side of the river if one is visiting Seoul primarlary as a tourist but the Gangnam location is otherwise just fine. Taxis or subway can get you anywhere you need to go.

I was unsure of where to stay in Seoul but this turned out to be the perfect location and a very nice hotel at the price. Gangnam is a bustling area for shopping, eating and nightlife... yet taxis are so cheap that you can visit any of the other areas of the city as you want. The staff were also very helpful and honest and I have to thank them for keeping a book I lost there and returning it to me a week later.

Hotel with romantic surrounding and Gangnam Style!”

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days, 2 nights solo. The room is very comfortable and spacious. It is clean and quiet. I love this hotel. The staff are very helpful especially the gentleman Scott Lee at the reception counter. Once out of the hotel, you will walk down a downslope with nice row of trees. Very romantic place. In about 100m, you will reach the endless shopping places of Gangnam. This is a happening place! There are hundreds of restaurants, mini-marts, cafes at both sides of the road and the alleys. It is unbelievable the number of shops, restaurants and cafes at the alleys. You would not be able to finish walking past all the shops..... The hotel is also near to the subway Gangnam and it is very convenient. I woke up each morning yearning to take a walk in the cool air. Have breakfast at any of the many cafes. Very very good for relaxation.

Ideal location, friendly staff.”

Stayed recently for three nights. On arrival receptionist was friendly and spoke good English, got a room on the exact floor that I requested (much appreciated!). Room clean and comfortable, bathroom slightly small but was functional. Ideal location for visiting the various 'Gangnam sites', 'Sinnonhyeon' underground station is moments from the hotel, so easy to get the tube. I can't stress enough that the staff were all really helpful and pleasant. We have stayed in several Novotel hotels over the years and this rates as one of the best.

Solid, but could use some improvements”

I thought my stay at the Novotel went very well. I have stayed at other hotels in the Seoul area, and personally I felt like the Novotel could use some improvements. I thought the room itself was just a little too small. And the bed itself was not a real queen, it was clearly 2 single beds put together. So although it was actually a little bigger, it had a small space in the middle. The food for the breakfast buffet was excellent. I loved all the options and it stayed open till 11 AM. And I enjoyed the pool as well, it was quiet and peaceful. The staff did an excellent job of bringing up wine glasses and plates, and they were very polite and respectful. Personally, I enjoyed the experience, but for that price I could probably go to other roomier hotels with better wifi. I did enjoy the staff and I really enjoyed the breakfast, so I would definitely consider coming back.

Gangnam Novotel”

The Novotel Gangnam is a very nice hotel with 5 star service. The restaurants are all different and have delicious, unique courses. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a waterfall, which can be seen from the amazing windows at the cafe. Overall an excellent choice, especially for the money.

Great place to stay!”

I really enjoyed staying at Novotel Seoul Ambassador Gangdam. Good location, it was very near to Kangnam station. Many places to eat and drink around the area but since the hotel's entrance was up on the hill (not too high though)a bit of excercing when going back to the hotel. The staff's were polite and the room was clean. The breakfast buffet was nice. Willing to visit again.

Clean, quiet, peaceful Hotel; excellent service”

the novotel group has always had a good hotel with excellent service--such was the situation in seoul--staff spoke great english--very fast and efficient service--the room was clean and comfortable--the bed was very comfortable--iron and ironing board present for my wife to press her clothes-- hotel not close to subway station--at night the traffic jams were frustrating especially while riding in a taxi--coex shopping mall not that exciting-- the novotel is a great hotel for businessmen--it's location is not the best for tourists--next time while on tour in seoul my wife and i will stay closer to center city --
