Nice hôtel, well located, clean and good price.”
The Grace boutique is a really nice place to stay! Friendly and helpfull staff when you need them and really discret the rest of the time. Clean rooms, cleaning ladys discret and doing a good work. The rooms facing the pool are cool enought to only use fan, because they are on the shaddy side of the building. On the otherside you might need air con as the sun is shining through the window and warming up the bedroom! The beds are a bit hard when you get to the first night slepp but get used to it! Swimming pool makes the whole difference to easy wake up, relaxing morning and hot afternoons! Wifi connection everywhere and nice place on the shade by the pool to relax, read a book or using your laptop and get a 100% wifi connexion! Well, Grace boutique is a quiet place to relax well located inside all city and on main street. The hotel just opened a new internet café when providing snack, breakfast and drinks! I will be back soon for sure! Stayed 1 month there and loved it!

Excellent”
Grace boutique house is in a great location right in the centre of the Old Town. We were in walking distance of restaurants, bars and the various night markets. The highlight for us was definitely the pool. It is actually in the hotel next door, but they're so close to each other this doesn't matter. It was really clean and well kept and there were towels offered by the pool for you to use. We enjoyed it so much we actually came back again a few days later just for a couple of rest days! Would recommend.

Great location and attractive rooms”
Staff were friendly on arrival, gave us a map of Chiang Mai and advice on what to do in the local area. The room was colourful, attractive and clean. We chose a fan room which was fine as the climate was fairly cool and the fan was positioned well as it points directly on to the bed. The TV had a couple of english channels and the internet connection was really good, probably the best we've had while travelling. The pool was a good size and has lights that change colour after dark which was pretty funky! There's no restaurant on site but this really isn't a problem in Chiang Mai, especially as the guesthouse is right next to the east side of the moat which is where the majority of the bars/restaurants are located. We originally booked 1 night, ended up staying for 5 and have booked to go back for another week over Thai new year!

Good Service and Perfect Location”
I stayed here for 6 nights. This small hotel is located in the heart of Chiang Mai's Old Town. 5 minutes walk to the Sunday Night Market. Very convenient. It is a peaceful place to stay, so don't even try to compare this location to hotels in Night Bazaar District. I don't like to stand loud noise during the night. If you think its a fair trade off for a short walk to Night Bazaar, then be my guest. Staffs here are helpful and kind. I'm surprised that this low-budget hotel can offer us a small pool and great wifi accessible no matter you are relaxing at the pool or lying on the bed in your room. For small hotels in Chiang Mai, it's by far the best one I ever stayed. The downside would be that this building is pretty old. So, you might think the water is smelly and the water pressure is quite low. The bathroon doesn't separate dry and wet zone. No hanging knot inside. It is somewhat inconvenient. Additionally, there is only one location in your room that you could find a socket-outlet. Be aware that they still use two-prong ones. It's advised to bring your own extension power strip in case you need to charge your laptop or mobile phone at the same time as you are watching their tv. Finally, it's part of their policy to make bed and clean up your room once in two days. I think it's just wierd. Overall, it is however acceptable for me.

Good budget hotel with a swimming pool”
Enjoyed our stay at Grace Boutique hotel. We were looking for a budget hotel with a swimming pool in the old town of Chiang Mai. Rooms are average - you get what you pay for. But as we were only using the room to sleep in, it was absolutely fine - double bed, hot water, a fan and a tv - we didn't need any more. We really enjoyed lazing around the swimming pool in the sunshine, especially as it was so hot.

good location, great room and pool!”
Pleasant stay in Grace Boutique. Staff helped with bookings of tours and trips and the room was a good size and clean. The pool was upkept very well and was enjoyable to be at! Would return!

I'd call it overpriced”
The location and room were quite alright; I could have done with less housekeeping in exchange for a lower price. When I go back to Chiang Mai I'll stay somewhere for less than half the price, and will get a more homey environment for a solo traveller like me.

friendly quiet ”
we stayed at this hotel and found it was a lot quieter than we thought it would be. it is in the old city so in a good area, a stroll to walking street and easy to get to other places. there is a small car park if you are driving. a very nice swimming pool. the staff are very friendly and although they sell tours etc there was no pushing to use their service but where still helpfull with local knowledge. the rooms are small but comfortable and did i mention quiet!!

Excellent”
Really good location, can go everywhere in old Chiang Mai by walk! Amazing pool! Just beside the sunday market! Cons: It was raining for 45minutes, our room was next to the exterior wall and some water was getting in behind the coat hook.

Nice pool but other problems”
I originally planned on staying a couple of days at the Grace Boutique but when weighing things up decided I would find better value elsewhere. The pool is nice, rooms are clean, staff relatively friendly BUT the cable TV all but useless (a couple of English channels) and the mattress was old a saggy giving me a very ordinary night's sleep. I had an air-con room which was not necessary, fan would have been ok and then at the fan prices the hotel would have been exceptional value considering the pool but at the price I paid I bumped it up another 100 baht and got a hotel at least three times as good. Fan room = good deal, air-con = not a great deal

Great value ”
The staff were all very helpful and friendly! The place was clean and well kept. The room was very basic, but perfect to crash in. Rooms were cleaned daily and water was always restocked! The beds were VERY firm, so if you don’t mind a solid bed, this is a great deal! -the entrance is tricky to find- there are two hotels operating under one business, so look closely for the sign!

Rooms small but nicely decorated. Lovely staff.”
We enjoyed staying at the Grace Boutique and would have stayed longer but the room was a bit small for a long stay and didn't have a fridge. Staff was nice and didn't push for tours. Fairly priced.

Good Quality for good price ”
Considering that in the end we stayed only one night we are really happy with the hotel. It is quite central, close to rachademnoen rd and thapae gate and relatively inexpensive. The room was small and decent but it was also very cheap and compared to another guesthouse we tried for the same price (Lanna guesthouse). The only bad we can say: matrace was hard like a wooden board. No pool but just in front there is the thapae loft and that pool we could also use and it was new and modern. Inbetween they have a vw-bus bar which was quite nice to chill out for a small while. For cheap travelling with no need for much comfort we would recommend the place.

A little run down and bed uncomfortable but great for the price. ”
Loved the location. In old city and easy access to cheap temple Thai massages. We paid 24 dollars a day and for 60 you can stay at it's neiphbor fancy site Thapae Loft, which is owned by the same person. You can still use facilities ( pool) and bar if Thapae Loft. Worth paying 1 third the cost, if you don't care where you sleep.

Nice, central stay”
Well kept, shares a beautiful pool and bar area with the fancy hotel next door. Room was a bit outdated and a little untidy given the price, but made up for by the pool facilities and extremely friendly staff.

Nice Overall”
very friendly front desk staff, but some were a bit pushy with trying to sell you tours and treks. i guess that's pretty standard at budget places in chiang mai. price was good, pool was nice and location was perfect, especially for checking out the sunday walking street. our bed was ridiculously hard though...like sleeping on the floor. interestingly our friends down the hall had a very soft, comfortable bed though.

Nice, clean, and conveniently located ”
It was perfect for what I needed. As a solo traveler on a budget, I was spoiled with a beautiful pool to enjoy. My only complaint was that no one ever came to clean my room during the week stay. Not a huge deal I just got more toilet paper when needed and swept up once. I did like that there was staff at reception 24/7. They were very helpful in coordinating activities. No restaurant or food options here. Location is nice near the Tae Phae gate. Would recommend them.
