sleep inn hotel is , 10 mins walk from ao nang beach, amidst the market area and near ao nang mosque. Sleep inn has a massage parlour in ground floor and staying option in upper floors. Key features of hotel : very near to the beach, amidst the market, reasonable tariff, amazing hospitality, very helful persons in reception. Cons : rooms are not so big, not so airy, though there is air condition. Benificial for the People, tight in budget, and people who love to roam about a lot, and love to stay only for the evening in hotel. This should be a decent and auutomatic choice among the lot

Lovely hotel ”

We arrived to Krabi, Ao Nang by boat and took a tuk-tuk from the pier. As the Austhai hotel is very new the tuk-tuk driver didn't know the location. With the help of very helpful local people we found the hotel and friendly hosts were receiving us. Me and my husband, we liked the hotel very much - it was very clean, comfortable with a big room and very tasty breakfast.

Virgin trip”

Its our virgin trip in Krabi to celebrate our 2nd honeymoon.. Its great foods are just few mins walk from hotel.. One things is that if possible to welcome our rooms with fresh flowers.. Where most hotel will surprised their customers as its is their special trip there.. At least to have A water flask where we can make our own hot tea for our room rather than we need to go down to get the hot water.. Sleep inn will be our stay again during our staycation..

THE MOST HUMBLE HOTEL EVER!”

The owner is so nice to me and my friend! The price was so cheap but I didn't expect to get a very comfortable place to stay in. Don't come here if you expect to have private pool or private sea view, cause it is just a walk away from the beach. All of the staffs are very friendly and treat us like a family. They even begged us to stay for another week. The location is superb, I would totally come back to this hotel if I ever to visit Krabi next time! A VERY GOOD VALUE OF MONEY! And to add, the price for the massage is the cheapest you can find in Krabi.

We stayed here for 2 nights we chose a room without a window as we were on a budget. The room was clean and just fine for what we needed only downside no fridge. The staff are so friendly and helpful they helped us with finding our way around Ao Nang and Railey. We also got a massage here and they were great. Highly recommend this place!

we upgraded to an airconditioned room for our last three days in thailand and it was worth it. the room was clean and bright and serviced daily.all staff were friendly and helpful.austhai hotel has been recently refurbished and is about a 10 minute walk to the main beach and there are plenty of eating places along the way.breakfast is available as is internet access and there is a pool table for guests.krabi airport is between 30 and 45 minutes from ao nang depending on traffic.

Everything was perfect in terms of location and size of the room ( city view with balcony). Near to ao nang beach and some good restaurants. I’d probably stay here again.

we had reserved a fan room but upgraded to an aircon room. the australian and thai husband and wife owners were very helpful as were their staff. our room was large, very clean and airy with a small balcony.it is about a 10 minute walk into the main part of ao nang passing plenty of eating places on the way.

nice hotel with friendly staff”

The hosts are a retired Australian shipwright and his Thai wife, hence "Austhai." They maintain a relaxed atmosphere at the hotel, and rooms are clean and spacious. The complementary breakfast is better than you'll typically find in Thailand. The location is not beachfront, but it is in easy walking distance. I recommend the fan rooms for cost-conscious travelers, especially in the high season, when temperatures are not so bad outside. The fan rooms have twin beds and plenty of room for sleeping bags if you've got a larger group. I didn't see any bugs inside the rooms, which is not to be taken for granted in Thailand.

I stayed in standard room, it’s small but suits perfect for solo traveler or couples traveling on a budget. Great location with a 5 min walk to the beach and on the backside of the hotel is a great food market with a big variety of food to a good price. Staff was really friendly and helpful. I booked the 4 island tour down at reception which was an amazing trip, can highly recommend! Overall a great stay and happy to come back again!

decent guest house on the main ao nang drag”

good guesthouse digs on the edge of the main ao nang drag. good value relative to the resorts in ao nang - no need for a pool with so many great beaches. 10 minute walk to the pier though there are tuk-tuks.

super comfortable and convenient ”

the hotel is located just a few minutes walk to the beach. very convenient as you can find 7eleven, family mart, mini supermarket nearby.. the staff really friendly and helpful. they help us call our driver to make sure we made it on time for our activities . room is clean even it is abit small but good value for money if ure on budget. everything is just awesome for me!

Austhai Hotel”

We stayed at AusThai for three very nice nights. The hotel is surprisingly clean and managed by an interesting Australian/Thai couple always ready to help and serve you. Our fan room was big and spacious. The hotel is at walking distance from all activities that could be found in AoNang (trips to Phi Phi and James Bond ilands, shopping, restaurants..). Overall it was a good choice and a very pleasant stay.

Cheap and Good”

We got the room at the 3rd floor, its a walk up hotel. Basic needs met only that I wished there was a window to help with air ventilation. The room is cleaned daily with fresh towels. Ms Euw, the front office (I hope I get her name right) was friendly and helpful. She helped booked the island hopping package and gave directions to get to Krabi town using the public transport.

Nice location but room was too small”

Stayed at sleep inn for 2 nights. Staff is friendly and location is good. However our room was so small that one can barely walk with suitcase on floor. So if you are on budgetgo for it or ask for bigger room.

Good stay and nice room”

Booked to stay here for 2 days and the first 2 days were really good and water was provided on the first day. We booked to stay another 2 days as the first 2 were great but on our final night we were awoke at 11pm-12am by screaming kids running around the stairs and corridors on several floors and loud shouting which lasted for around an hour and then again around 6-7am which also woke us up. At no point did any staff try and sort this out and we were also unsure who to speak to as there just seemed to be massage staff downstairs. Really would have given this a better review if we knew who to contact when any issues arose. Also for the 4 days we stayed the room was not cleaned and fresh water was not provided.
