Friendliest Customer Service in Thailand”

My husband and I live in Thailand, and do a lot of traveling. We are teachers here so we always travel on a budget. We have never stayed in a cleaner room for this price. It was immaculate and had daily cleaning service. They have a lovely pool with lounging chairs and umbrellas, and that whole area is very clean as well. Additionally, when we arrived, we were greeted by name "Are you Kara?" by Sun the owner. From here on out we were treated as old friends by every member of the staff. Sun had read the little registration thing we filled out and knew that we were teachers. He asked us about our jobs, our homes and about our life in Thailand. The front desk staff arranged a Thai cooking class for us and inquired about how it was when we returned. One morning, as we were leaving for the beach, we were greeted by Sun in the lobby. He gave us a big smile, said good morning Teacher Kara and asked us how we had slept. It was truly like staying with friends or relatives. I was overly impressed with the service of all of the staff. The only downside to our stay was that our room faced a busy street and was a bit noisy. I recommend always traveling with ear plugs in Thailand and then this sort of thing isn't too much of a problem. Also, our air conditioner was a little slow in cooling off our room. It did the job, it just took a little time. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel. We really love Ao Nang, Krabi and we will definitely be visiting again. When we do, we will very likely give Sun a call and book another room at the Haleeva Sunshine.

Nice stays in Haleeva Hotel”

It's really nice to stays in Haleeva. The hotel staff are helpful and well mannered. The rooms are decent, comfort & clean. The location near to many cheap stalls but delicious local foods. Just 10 minutes walks to Ao Nang beach, shopping lots nearby, marts and etc. Definitely, I will recommend Haleeva to my family, friends and visitors if they wish to visit Krabi. Sure I will come again to Krabi and stay in Haleeva.

Clean Hotel with relaxing atmosphere”

I stayed in Haleeva Sunshine Hotel for 2 days in my Krabi Trip. The services in the hotel is very good.All the basic stuff like wifi,fridge,air-conditioned room , kettle, hair-dryer are provided.And beach mat as well. i like to sit at the balcony and enjoy the scenic view along Ao Nang road. I have the opportunity to talk to the owner of Haleeva Hotel, Sun. He is such a nice and caring person who understand the needs of customers. If given me another chance,i would stay in this Hotel with longer duration.It's worth to stay in this hotel with reasonalbe price.

Strategic location and good service”

the best feature of haleeva is the superb staff service. staff are friendly and helpful. upon arrival, my group of 4 was offered cool water as a sign of welcome. counter staff were frank and forthcoming when asked for advice regarding day tour packages and restaurants. although they had their own day tour packages, at no time was there any hard selling. rather, they compared the pros and cons of taking their packages and left it to us to make our own decisions. owner sun was friendly and often struck up conversations with us, checking that we had had a good day when we returned to the hotel. he was meticulous enough to note that my friends and i swam almost every day in the hotel pool. the location is strategic, a mere ten minutes' walk from ao nang beach. restaurants and shops line the whole street. facilities were good in view of the prices. rooms were small but very clean and well-appointed. a relaxed, cosy ambience permeated the whole hotel.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile ”

hotel assist to arrange taxi pick up from airport cost only 600bath. check in was smooth. the receptionist always give you warm smile and welcome drinks. they also provide renting of motorbike for only per day. it is a shoplot type of hotel. sun - the owner & his team has done a great job for our stay. no lift. so we have to exercise up to our 4th floor room everyday. room is well maintained and the bed was decorated with a love couple swan with roses sprinkle on the bed. it is romantic. toilet is equipped with basic amenities. the only drawback is the shower current is not so strong. bed is big and comfortable. breakfast is scrumptious with a egg station. they will be happy to tell you all the travel info that you need including where has the best massage centre, island hopping trip. it is just 10mins away to the beach. but we never walk because we use motorbike to move around. it's fun to sight seeing around the ao nang town. alot of hotels and restaurants. plenty of choices for you to choose from. but i still prefer haleeva sunshine as it is more convenient for us. there is 7-11, mcd, swensen, subway in front of the hotel. the night market is also within walking distance from the hotel. we are giving thumbs up to sun and his team.

Value for money”

After reading other travellers' review on this hotel from Agoda website, I have choosen a room with a view of the swimming pool & cliff. The room is clean and spacious, bigger than my expectation. The only minus point is there is no lift in this hotel. Thus, we have to climb up to our room on level 4 everyday. But this is not much of a problem to me. But if you have people with walking difficulty, this will be a challenge. Receptionists speak good English and are very helpful with all our queries. It takes about 20 mins to stroll/ walk to Ao Nang beach. Along the way, there are lots of shops for shopping. I like the fact that this hotel is away from the main crowd at Ao nang beach. But yet, it is safe enough to walk back to our hotel from Ao Nang beach at night. The receptionists recommended us to dine at "Boat Noodle", "No 1 Thai Food", "Ton Sai" and "Masammon" restaurants. All are located very near to Haleeva Sunshine. And I will recommend this massage place called 'Ao Nang Paradise" which is located very close to "Ton Sai" restaurant. Less than 5 mins walk away from Haleeva Sunshine. It is clean and spacious. Less crowded as compared to those located at Ao Nang beach.

Excellent hotel, pleasant staff and great rooms”

this hotel was a great find ! I have stayed in Ao Nang 3 times now and this is first time stayed at Haleeva. It is really good and would definitely recommend it. The staff are brilliant (Sun the Manager is excellent) and nothing too much trouble. The superior rooms are spacious, well cleaned and decorated and bathroom/shower very good. A/C, Wifi, mini-bar with complimentary water daily, TV and electronic safe. Towels are changed daily and rooms cleaned to perfection! I cannot fault the hotel at all and will definitely stay again here. Pool towels provided along with beach mats...... many little extras make it special !

Outstanding Hotel ”

firstly, prior to my arrival at the hotel the staff specifically mr. ree attended to all my questions via email without any delay and he managed to solve all of the issues related to the room booking and available activities. upon arrival, the taxi driver was there though my flight had been delayed for nearly 40 minutes. once i reached the hotel, the staff generally and the manager warmly welcome me and my partner (and all my perceptions on how thais treat asians, as what we had experienced before in bangkok fully diminished). secondly, the management of the hotel successfully fulfil my requests about the room in which i wanted for the mountain view. nevertheless, the best thing about this hotel was their personnel honesty as they managed to return back my money via western union (thought i have lost it somewhere amounted at thb10200) which actually was in my room at the hotel! i was really touched when i received an email informing me that the they had found my wallet (though my partner and i) already arrived in kuala lumpur. to be franked, i have travelled to many places before , yet i haven't found such an honest hotel before - thank you, mr. ree for your kindness and honesty again. don't think twice if you want to stay at this hotel, believe me you will never regret it. lastly, to all the personnels of haleeva sunshine keep up your good work and i do believe you guys deserve a pat on the back...any person who contributes to prosperity must prosper in return.

Above expectation hotel with superb service”

we stayed here for 3 nights and it was just so lovely. we stayed at harvest house the first night and haleeva just beats harvest hands down in terms of everything! we were very comfortable with the size and design of our room, though our two friends had a room double of ours which was even better! bathroom was great, with basic toiletries and even conditioner and body lotion provided. the staff were polite, friendly, kind and very helpful. they made our stay very comfortable. bikes can be rented at the hotel at a cheap rate. i can safely say this hotel is much better than some 4 stars hotels. only downside is that the walls are quite thin so people could hear us from the corridor. also, coffee making facilities were lacking in the hotel which wasn't that much of a problem for us as we have our breakfast on the go everyday as we rush to our activities. overall, this is the best 3 stars hotel i've ever stayed in and i highly recommend it to everyone! i'd even come back to this hotel if i were to ever visit krabi again. also, we stayed in the room with a balcony facing the main streets and while others reviewed that it got a little noisy, we had no such problem at all. we loved the balcony as it helped dry our wet clothes really quickly.

Excellent choice when visiting Ao Nang”

I went to Haleeva Sunshine-hotel at the end of september with a friend and stayed for total of 5 days. The hotel is not right next to the beach, but for us that wasn't a problem. Some people warned us that the praying calls from the mosque nearby might be disturbing, but in reality you could barely hear them at the mountainside rooms. Hotel had a nice pool at the backside and it was also equiped with a jacuzzi, unfortunately they were closed at the sunset. When we arrived we were greeted with smile and welcoming drinks. We were also provided with the map of Ao Nang and the girl in reception gave some good tips about some places we could visit. The room itself was clean and in a good condition every way. The only negative thing I can think of was that there was no extra toilet-paper rolls or soap, which would have been nice as my friend had some problems with his stomach. All in all this is a great choise if you decide to visit Ao Nang. I don't think there are many hotels that offer as high quality rooms for that low price.

I stayed this hotel with girl friend for 4nights. The manager (his name is sun) is very friendly, good English speaker, always smile and good greeting. Someone says the location is a bit far from Ao-nang beach. It was not at all. it takes only 10mins by walk and you can hire motorbike easily it costs only less than per day also when you sleep at night it is not noisy at all cos this hotel does not have a club or bar near here. very good for sleeping and relax. Don't go just 2~3minutes location from ao-nang that means it could be noisy at night. My girl friend was liked riding motorbike with me. hahaah !! I will definitely come back to Krabi and this hotel absolutely. Take care and all the best ! Manager sun !!!

budget hotel for one night”

I booked one night at Haleeva Sunshine because I was headed to Lanta Island the next day. The staff was very helpful to get me a ferry ticket from Krabi to Lanta Island which included hotel pick up from Ao Nang to Krabi pier and hotel drop off from Lanta pier to the next hotel (400THB). There was no breakfast included, but there's a local Thailand restaurant two doors down that serves traditional Thai chicken congee for less than 30THB. Hotel is a little far from the beach, but still within walking distance. It makes for a good workout going up and down the hill.

Lovely hotel with lovely owner & friendly staffs ”

I love my stayed at Haleeva, the owner "Sun" is not only helpful but also very generous. The room itself is spacious enough with nice cliff view, chic designs, clean bathroom, TV, Wifi and a fridge. It definitely provides you a comfy stay with the price that you've paid for. Although the swimming pool is not as big as others, but it did served its purpose. Some may say that the location of this hotel is kinda far from the markets (which is just 10-15mins walking distance) , but do you want to have a peaceful good night sleep and stay away from the unwanted noises ? If yes, then you may proceed your booking with Haleeva Sunshine. *you may liaise with Sun (speaks fluently) to book for your ground tour once you’ve checked-in, the charges are reasonable enough*

I went to krabi with my husband for holiday.. we booked a deluxe room with jakuzzi and the rooms was awesome and i really in love with outdoor jakuzzi facing mountain view.. however, the sliding door need to be closed most of the time to prevent the mosquitoes from entering the room. The staff very friendly especially the nice guy on front desk at night ( I forgot to ask his name) but unfortunately No breakfast at this hotel. But they provide coffee and hot water 24hours. You also can rent the bike at this hotel 200baht for 24hours.. Location was good, easy to find halal food. Near walking to the beach. And I highly recommanded this Haleeva sunshine hotel.

Wonderful Place”

being so pampered with 4 and 5 star places to stay, we decided to spend our 1 night in transit in a b&b on our way out of krabi. we expected the ordinary shabby service provided by some of the cheaper b&b's but instead got a surprise. from cleanliness to comfort this place get full marks from us. haleeva sunshine has really impacted us that we're gonna consider them first as a reliable hotel to stay in krabi for our next visit. their attention to detail and organization for the beach and tour service was excellent and totally affordable.

Rooms big though toilet mayb abit crampy. Hotel services was ver good n had met over my expectation frm a 3stars hotel. Though kinda away frm the main attraction but with the tuk tuk nowhere is far :) This was my third time in Krabi, stayed from 5 stars, 4 stars n nw I found a hidden gem 3stars Haleeva Sunshine whose service are much mor better then the 4stars. Bits of cons: the breakfast really need loads of improvements. Too little varieties.

I get to know about this lovely hotel via the good review from Agoda, and I was pretty curious as all the reviews from Tripadvisor seem to be pretty positive too, so I decided to made 3 night superior room booking via Agoda, then made some inquiries directly by emailing to the hotel. They are prompt & helpful in terms of handling all my inquiries. And now I experienced their great services and satisfied with my decision. I requested the superior room with balcony facing the main street, it was clean & chic room and my kids & I were happy with it. I will book for Deluxe room when I return & highly recommend the Deluxe room, especially the couple to book for the Deluxe room with spacy living room & jacuzzi bathtub in a shaded spacy balcony. The staff are friendly & helpful especially Mr Sun and Miss Ree, spent time explaining the hotel facilities when we arrived & during our stay, and recommended a good restaurants surrounding Aonang beach & nearby the Hotel. Hotel offers wifi, free rental for beach mat, umbrella etc, 24 hrs coffee makers at the lobby, internet TB40/hr. Strongly Recommend: Ao Nang Boat Noodle, just next to the hotel, good price & friendly service, Shrimps fried Rice TB40, Thai Papaya Salad TB60, Fruit Shake TB30 etc. about 5-10 min walk, there are many street food stalls near the Starbucks & McDonald, pancake TB20 & fruit shake TB20-25. many 7-11 along the way from hotel to Aonang beach.

Nice Hotel & Staff very helpful”

very nice hotel, clean & comfortable. staff was very helpful and we've cheaper trip to islands nearby. for sure will return to the haleeva sunshine hotel once we visit krabi again. pool was not working/not allowed to use due to water ph balance, hence we was very happy that beach mat & umbrella foc and we've to returned after using.

Lovely hotel offers much more than you paid for”

The hotel is situated at the right place of Ao Nang if you want to sleep well in a relatively quiet area and require to reach bars, restaurants, local food stalls, 7-11, MacDonald, … etc. within 2-3 minutes of walking distance. Anyway, just 20B or 15 minutes of leisure walk will bring you to the waterfront. If you choose to walk, you will find the time flies because you will enjoy the stores and shops you pass by before you reach the waterfront. The hotel, as a whole, including its swimming pool, is very clean and tidy. Our Room was about 25 sq. meters with nice view of trees and cliffs at a distance. The manager/owner and his staffs are very helpful and nice to everyone. They are always there to assist us whenever we need to know the transport information, where to eat and where to visit. The hotel also provides tour agency service, however, no one set any pressure to us to join any tour. However, we did choose to join all our tours through the hotel because they took care to choose reliable tour operators for us and made sure the prices were right. The management team did really put their heart to serve us.

Affordable”

Nice & affordable but it's more ok if have lift in the hotel. It's about 1km from Ao Nang Beach. Have a lot of shops/restaurant/bar/stall along the road from Ao Nang Beach to Haleeva Sunshine. Under this hotel have halal restaurant if you don't want to walk anywhere and have pharmacy and 24hrs convenience store nearby. Location wise - GOOD.
