Our honeymoon”

We were there for our honeymoon, and they upgraded us to the Agoda Deluxe room which was a nice surprise. You'll find staff very accommodating to your needs - they let us do a 2 hr late check-out as service because our flight out of Krabi was really late that day. Everything in the resort is very clean - the rooms, pool, restaurant, and the hotel grounds. Compared to other resorts in Ao Nang, Pakasai has a very beautiful resort grounds with lots of trees and water ways. We even saw monkeys, and strange birds and some lizards. Pakasai is great if you want to spend some quiet time away from the busy shopping street (around McDonald's - about 15 mins walk), and still be able to go to the good restaurants, shop, and go on tours all within walking distance. One thing worried us before going, was the breakfast - you know, from reading the reviews.. but it was not bad at all. You get a wide variety of both Thai and American selections, and also be able to order grill. We would definitely go to Pakasai next time when we visit Ao Nang.

The Pakasai Resort was a wonderful place to stay for my Thai wife's short holiday. My wife is a nurse in Loei Province in northern Thailand and she had never been to southern Thailand before. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We both slept well in the comfy bed (which made my wife laugh because it had 10 pillows on it!). There was ample hot water for the shower in the room and the tub on the balcony, which had sun screens for privacy. The Pakasai Resort staff, especially the young women and men at the Guest Services Desk, were such a delight with their radiant smiles. They were genuinely happy to help us and offer suggestions about excursions and restaurants. As you can see on the map, the resort is located in the heart of the Ao Nang area, situated within easy walking distance to the beaches, shopping areas, spas, and restaurants. There are many more positive things I could say (e.g., the resort pool was beautiful and so relaxing) but perhaps this sums it up the best: As we were eating dinner on the night before our departure, my wife asked me, “Do you think we could back again next year and bring my mother and father?” Indeed, we will do just that. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoyed our stay.

We are happy with the resort”

Is nice resort located at Krabi - Ao Nang. Not at the center of Ao Nang street, so won't feel noisy in night time. Nice place for relax, less than 3mins walking distance have some hawker stall from morning till late night. From Krabi airport, you may take bus or request for resort airport transfer to resort (need advance booking from resort). We stay at superior room. In the room have a lot Mosquitos, need to get mosquito-repellent incense. Overall, we are happy with this resort, if next time go to Krabi again sure will book Pakasai resort again if the price still reasonable.

Beautiful tropical garden and ocean view”

We travelled as a young couple and stayed for one week. Pakasai resort is located in close proximity to Ao Nang Beach, Noppharat Beach, plenty of reasonably priced Thai restaurants, supermarket and ATM. It is a hill-side resort. We were lucky to get a room with a wonderful view of Noppharat Beach and some islands. We were provided free Wifi, which worked well most of the times. We were very pleased with our stay at Pakasai resort. Due to the beauty of the garden you will definitely meet lizards, squirrels and perhaps other reptiles ;)

Warm, quiet and intimate surrounding”

Hotels and resorts fill the whole stretch of road along Ao Nang, literally so many of them that you will be standing in front of one every step you take down Ao Nang. Some of these hotels or resorts are quite obvious from the main road itself - those which you know you will not want to step into. Some, however, are abit more hidden but which are the jewels of Ao Nang, or at least hotels or resorts which are more attractive than the average. During our trip, we did pop into and check out other resorts/hotels along Ao Nang and after doing a comparison with resorts of the same class, we felt Pakasai Resort is indeed not a wrong choice. There are of course, other resorts which give different feel of the stay, with different sceneries, setting up etc, e.g. some boast the views of the cliff, grand staircase, some flaunt with a luxurious modern feel. Pakasai has its own ambience i.e. intimate, secluded, quiet and relaxing amongst the greenery. The thing we like about the resort is its simple yet nice lobby and walkway leading up to the rooms. Rooms are spacious and very well equipped with our needs, and we were especially surprised to see in the room that they even provided us with a basket containing woven mats for use at the beach. Everywhere in the resort feels so natural and green, not only in its views - it even smells and sounds green (we can hear crickets and beetles singing all the time)! The swimming pool, albeit not a very large one but which is already quite sizeable comparing it with other resorts of its class, is indeed a pleasure to be at. Location wise, the resort is at the side of Ao Nang which is closer to the pier, the start point of all island hopping activities. Not a concern there as most tours would have provided transfers to and from your hotels/resorts. It's location also means it's a little further away from the shops and eateries compared to other resorts. But again, it isn't a problem there because the walk to the shops only about 10 mins

Amazing!!!”

We have just returned from 12 days at the Pakasai Resort. Upon arrival we were greeted with one of their "green is green" cocktails along with very friendly staff. Having booked a superior room in the main building, we found that we had been upgraded to a family suite - the suite was that big we had 2 keys! The suite was at the top of the resort (built in to a hill), so lots of steps to climb, but the views from both balconies made it worthwhile! With 2 balconies, 2 bathrooms, living area...our stay was amazing. The resort was beautifully landscaped with orchids, shrubs etc which made it a pleasure on the stroll/climb to our room. Plus, an infinity pool with daily happy hours made relaxing with Margaritas all the more enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend the Pakasai hotel and friendly staff for a stay in Krabi. This was our fourth visit to Krabi and by far the best hotel we've stayed in!!!

Friendly & Helpful Staffs,Recommended Room on mountain, Good Location, Many activities in hotel”

First at all, we were appreciated the service of hotel staffs as friendly, helpful and warm greeting.There is a few extra activities at hotel as free cooking dessert, Free Yoga or Thai Dancing and paid Muay Thai Training etc.The room is big, clean and on mountain then we can see Sunset & sunrise from the balcony but you need to a bit claim up to the room.The hotel is situated on Ao Nang Beach and just walk 7-8mns to beach, restaurant, bars, shops and mini night market. The local transportation serve at 6am-8pm start from THB20. It depends on destination.If from Ao Nang beach to Krabi city around THB50 but from Krabi City to Ao Nang Beach around THB60.You can take Airport Bus THB150 or mini van THB200/person/one way from airport to any hotels on Ao Nang Beach.If you wanna save cost,you can take a local transportation from Ao Nang Beach to Krabi City THB50 then change other local transportation to airport THB20 then walk from main road to the airport around 6-7mns.

Amazing Service ”

Everyone working in Pakasai is exceptional. We were greeted by their staff, was given cold towels the minute we sat down; not only were we shown to our rooms but also explained to us what facilities we have in the rooms. The room is very spacious and clean too, with a balcony and a place for you to dry your wet clothes, if any. The resort is peaceful, nice and clean. For Muslim travellers, this resort is a non halal resort but you can easily get halal food near by. Ao Nang has a lot of halal food. However, if you're not too rigid they serve the non halal food on a different table, and its only one dish. If that makes you feel better. I would definitely come back and stay the next time I come back to Krabi.

Great place with great people, location, service!!”

I think I chose the best hotel in Ao Nang, Keabi. Pakasai resort is definitely my hotel to return to if I'm ever to visit Krabi again. The hotel provide great service and they even great advise in related to food and transportation matter around the area. Besides that, I woke up morning at Xmas and found gifts hanging at the door. What a thoughtful place it is. No doubt that I'll chose Pakasai as one of my fav!!

Beautiful Resort - Would Stay Again”

The resort is in a great location, off a side street in the Ao Nang area so it's quiet and feels remote. But you're just a short walk to anything you can think of (beaches, shopping, food). We got the ocean view suite which was phenomenal - but be warned there are a lot of steps/stairs (it's definitely worth it). Breakfast buffet was nothing special. Hotel pool was wonderful (great cocktails!). You get drink vouchers for each day, and drinks are buy one get one free in the afternoons so that was great. Hotel staff helped us arrange an island boat tour (at the same price as the tourist stands around Ao Nang) and even made us to-go breakfast bags! Get your shuttle bus tix upon exiting the airport in Krabi for a cheap ride to the hotel. Reserve your return trip in advance - we couldn't reach the company (we got a private taxi for a steal at the stand across the street instead). Pass on the spa. There are better massage places in Ao Nang. We felt rushed, and the massage wasn't good.

Hi..All travelers... I m introduce the Pakasai Resort as the best resort at Ao Nang Beach. I been Krabi the second times. I love this resort coz convenient and very near Ao Nang Beach with few walks. The staffs here very warmful and with lovely smile...best in service. Lastly, I thanks to Agoda intro this hotel to me.

Great value, Eco friendly resort”

The Pakasai is a great resort set amongst lush gardens with an authentic Thai feel. Great location; just around the corner from the Ao Nang stretch. The hotel provided us with beach mats and towels to take down to the beach which was a nice touch. Breakfast was nice, with slight variation each morning. We were upgraded to a delux room for free: it was huge! I should mention that there are a lot of stairs to get to the rooms, and that the hike may be an issue for those with decreased mobility. The Pakasai represented excellent value for money and i highly recommend the resort.

Pretty Good”

It was very good! Got a complimentary room upgrade since I informed the hotel that it's my post birthday trip and my first time to Krabi, they helped make it memorable. They also set up a very efficient airport pick up for me, and had organised my trip to the tiger cave temple on the way to the hotel, and the driver graciously waited for 2 hours while I explored the temple and took the climb up the 1237 steps to the top of the hill. Staff were very friendly, well-spoken, good command of english. The room was awesome, quit a bit of mosquitoes but was not the hotel's fault, they do provide mosquito coils that were pretty efficient. Very near to the beach and shopping strip in Ao Nang. Yet quiet enough to feel peaceful. 24 hour massage place right outside the hotel with very good massage. Nice hotel, very romantic, and quiet. Though I was a smoker and it was alittle inconvenient to have to leave the room each time I needed to smoke, since it is a non-smoking hotel, overall this was a very good hotel and it really made my trip to Krabi awesome. 9/10 awarded to Pakasai Resort!!

Perfect place to stay in Ao Nang”

I can't think of a better location in the Ao Nang area. 5 minute walk to the beach and shopping/restaurants, but as soon as you enter the resort, you feel like you're in a jungle oasis. I will always stay at Pakasai if I come back to Krabi, because it's gorgeous, has an amazing breakfast, great rooms, fun daily Thai activities, and very helpful staff. Very thankful to have found Pakasai to make my trip to Krabi so perfect!

Great Resort, Nice Experience”

Booked a Superior room from Agoda, but upon arrival we decided to upgrade to an Adora room instead with a little fee more. The entire stay for our 4 nights was great. Upon an early arrival, we are able to check in at about 1230pm, the counter staff does not speak very fluent English, but it is sufficient for basic communication. Staff are very helpful and friendly which makes the stay enjoyable. The location wise is not very near to the beaches but is close enough which is 5 to 10 mins walk away. The plus point for this resort if you are like us who enjoys nature, will be the entire resort is surrounded by greenery and is quiet and relaxing. The infinity pool located at the top is nice and big which we spend quite a bit of our time tanning and swimming in it. If you are traveling with elderly or young children, please do note that the resort is really huge with most of their rooms located uphill which will take a bit of climbing to reach. But it is a brand new experience to have room high up within the gardens if you don't mind. The overall stay is more than my expectation and will definitely return to Pakasai Resort when traveling to Krabi in future.

Highlight of our 6 week stay in Thailand!”

We only stayed 2 nights but we loved every minute of it! When we checked in we were treated like VIP’s, the staff were great. To our delight we were upgraded to the Adora suite free of charge. This made our stay all the more special. After staying in the Adora suite I wouldn’t hesitate to the pay the extra for it. The suite although not huge was very well set out. You had your own private entrance to a small courtyard that had sun lounges and good sized round bathtub. The room is situated away from the rest of resort and really is much more private. The aircon was quiet and worked great. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve experienced in Thailand. Breakfast (included) was very good, the only complaint was the bee’s that were attracted to anything sweet, such as jam or fruit you might have on your table. Obviously a concern if you are allergic to bee’s. The resort is situated about 50 or so meters from the esplanade and is only a short walk to great restaurants, shopping and departure point for island tours etc… We really did enjoy our stay and won’t hesitate to stay at Pakasai Resort when next we visit Krabi.

Nature stay”

Pakasai Resort is centrally located for beach and other sighseeing activities. The resort is within walking distance to Ao Nang night market. Room was spacious and it was a comfortable stay as it is close to nature. However, wifi connection does not reach the room except at common areas at the resort. Breakfast spread was good and delicious. In addition, staff was friendly and accomodative. Highly recommended!

great location, great value for money. go there!”

i liked staying at pakasai a lot. i would not choose ao-nang if i go thailand again, but if at all then pakasai is perfect for young family with young kids. you only have to make sure you get rooms that are not too far, due to the stairs and levels. i thought the service was kind and fast, even when things were missing it was all supplied by simple request. best tip i can give is for laundry and any kind of taxi/traveling/expenditures, use the guy in from of the hotel, it's a tiny office with endless opportunities, and the most fair prices.

Perfect Location ”

My wife and I tend to travel over longer periods within Asia however, this winter we had a 2 week stop over at this resort where it proved perfect for us both in most ways. First of all the resort was embedded into a beautiful 4 acre landscape that shrouded any noice from the busy tourist location around the corner. Yet when you wanted to explore or eat out, everything was literally on your door step. The staff were amazing and really couldn’t do enough for you and ALWAYS with a smile. We found our initial Hotel room lacked natural light so they simply moved us the a more spacious and brighter room with a large outdoor terrace. They also provided us with 2 free meal vouchers and a free cocktail each evening in the bar. The food was great and a good variety for breakfast. Rooms were cleaned every day to a good standard. In all this was a most pleasant stay for us where if we ever returned to this region, then this would be the resort we would select. Well done Pakasai Resort

Lovely experience with Pakasai”

What I could say to the staff is: Thank you very much for your good service, you all gave us a pleasant staycation! First of all we were welcomed by the staff with cheerful smile when we were checking-in. The guys were very helpful in carrying our luggages once we walked towards the entrance. Whenever we met the staff in the resort, we will be greeted by them with friendly smile. There was one night, we were back to the room in full shopping bag, the staff offered his hand helping us to carry. Although we did not accepted his offer as we could still handle it, his passion in servicing guest really impressed us! We would recommend Pakasai being one of the best choices for holiday in Krabi. Keep it up Pakasai, Kob Khun Krup!
