Good, clean option in Ao Nang”

I stayed here two nights when I first arrived in Krabi. This place is a good deal compared to other hotels in Ao Nang. It's a long walk to the beach (walkable, I did it) so it's best to take tuk tuk's (20 baht/person) or rent a scooter (150 baht/day) to get around. Really friendly owner, clean rooms, good wifi, good food, good price, etc.

stayed for 3 days in ao nang nice little place my room had a nice view of the mountain over looking the land small shower the water doesn't get really hot just warm location a bit far from beaches but we rented a motor bike from here note look around for cheaper prices for motor bikes chrged me 250bht per day for old Honda that kept stalling if left idle kinda dangerous while driving don't let him sucker you in with the you can trust me crap I don't know about any were else "! there no reception at night electronic lock to get back in after hours be warned the electronic lock doesn't work 100% I went to buy water I told my gf I be back when I came back the wouldn't open the swipe card wouldn't work from.inside or out we couldn't open from both sides I thought be stuck outside with the mosquitos was very pissed off and then buy some miracle the door opened hooray they don't serve food either

Nice clean modern rooms, good value for money”

3 bees guesthouse has nice clean modern rooms with ensuite bathrooms. the only downside is that it is 20 minutes walk from ao nang beach but this did not bother us. of course, you can always get a tuktuk for person which takes 2 minutes. it is very good value for the money and the owner is very friendly and helpful.

Affordable and comfortable”

The guesthouse is located along the main road which was very convenient - the public bus dropped us off directly to the doorstep when we first came from the airport. The rooms are clean and the necessities are provided. The staff was very helpful in arranging tours for us, at very competitive rates. It's around 4km from the beach (the only downside for me) but it's within the Ao Nang town center making a lot of places accessible by foot - restaurants, convenient stores, massage places, shops and money changers. I highly recommend this and will gladly stay again.

Nice hotel but a little bit far from the centre”

We stayed 4 nights at 3 Bees Guesthouse and had a standard room. We booked it for a good price, we were at the top floor, but it was okay. We had an airconditinal room with an extra bathroom. We had free wifi in the room. There are small restaurants and shops next to the hotel but it is quit far away from the centre and from the Ao Nang pier. But you can rent a motorbike and come around.

Clean, helpful but far from the beach”

The 3 bees was a nice guesthouse to stay in for 4 nights, good for families and couples travelling. We stayed at the beginning of October and there was no food being served but free tea and coffee downstairs.The hotel also offers a laundry service which was very cheap and cleaned our clothes well. The main lady who works on the reception was very helpful booked a brilliant trip for us, arranged a taxi and spoke very good English. She also helped us find our way around Krabi. However upon check out there was no body around at 7.30am and they did know we were leaving at this time as they booked our taxi so we just left the room key on the desk. The room was a reasonable size and clean however the actual toilet was built strangly right up against the wall so anyone with big long legs would find it hard to size squarely on it. Request a room at the back of the hotel as there is a beautiful mountain view plus you can hear the local mosque calling people to prayer. I would recommend staying here however the beach is a good 40 minute walk away. You can get a motorbike taxi or truck taxi outside for 50 baht one way they are very frequent and the tucks also take you to Krabi town for 60 baht.

Lovely hotel and friendly boss”

boss of the hotel is very nice person, he always answer my question with open arms. i went to beach by tuk tuk 30b per person, it took about 20 min if i walked to there. the room is very clean, comfortable. i lived with my mom, the space of room is enough for 1 or 2 persons. some rooms have the view of mountain. just one more thing, the bed is a little bit hard.

Does what it says on the tin ... Great hospitality”

Great budget guesthouse not far from the main strip, but far enough to make it queit and a lot cheaper. Lovely Italian-Thai couple, added bonus to this place is that he is a fully trained chef, so on the downstairs level you can chow down with some really top class Italian homemade pasta, pizzas you can find in the whole town, also at great prices!! I stayed here alone however our group of 7 also had dinner here one night and we were looked after very well indeed.

Great value Family hotel with Nice Clean Cozy room”

we stayed here at 3 Bees Guesthouse for quite a number of days and found it to be great value with nice immaculate cozy rooms. You a good view from the window. Great home made pizza by the italian owner! The location is abit far from the beach but is could be reached by walking down the main road, abt 20mins. There's a great small evening market further up which sells great pancake, bbq chicken and ducks. 7-eleven is oso there.

Comfortable stay”

30 minute walk to Ao Nang beach, so it wasn't a great location, but the walk was fun so it was ok. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and speaks excellent English. The free orange juice and fruits when we first arrived was a good impression. Room very clean. Would stay here again if I visit Ao Nang for the second time.

Very neat and new rooms.. Comfortable stay”

It's near to beach.. And all shopping places are very nearby. Maintenance is really good.. You can also book tour packages from the hotel. Very friendly staff. In fact all phuket packages can be completed from krabi rather than stay in phuket. Also this hotel provides packages for all places in phuket. Enjoyed the stay.

We enjoyed our stay, the staff is really kind and dedicated to the guests. We loved the way they make the bed, with nice swans made of towels, this changing for other beautiful things every day. The room is big enough, furnitures are modern. The little fridge has got inside some drinks which are at nearly same price as in the supermarket, so cool! The Hotel is a bit far from the beach (2km), you'll need to take a tuk-tuk for 40 baths, which is easy (you won't wait for more than 5 min).

Big rooms, nice staff”

the guesthouse is not on the main beach road but still centrally in ao nang. you can easily walk to the beach along all shops and restaurants (which will take approx. 20 minutes) or you can take a tuk tuk (60 tbh per trip). the rooms were big and ours had a balcony. there was enough storage space and we had our own balcony. the bathroom was small and typical thai-style (when you shower the whole bathroom gets wet) and there were some ants. but it's like that everywhere in the south. the room was cleaned daily and towels and sheets were changed. the owner and his family were very nice and the one time we had the (non-included) breakfast, we liked it. the only minus is the security. the room keys are placed on the reception desk, accessable for everyone. you can walk in at night, past the sleeping security guard (or grandfather?) and just grad any key and get into the rooms.

The pros are receptionists are very friendly, helpful, informative and quite convincing in terms of tour package and other information.. The cons are rooms should be provided with water boiler for hot drinks and also hairdryer... What i love about 3BEES GUESTHOUSE is the cleanliness of the lobby and along the way to the rooms that do not allowed any shoes to walk inside, and also best receptionist ever..

Pleasant guest house ”

This was a very pleasant guest house at a very good price as far as prices in Ao Nang go the owner and his staff are very polite and attentive with the guests and the owner cooks some very good breakfasts,I was also informed from a local guy that they also do good evening food but I had no opportunity to try. My only criticism is the T/V which has very poor quality picture on the international channels .

Great wifi, 15-20 minute walk from Ao Nang town center and beach. Friendly staff, clean enough room, comfortable bed. No big frills or views, but very decent room for the price.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a smooth stay. Friendly staff and got better price for local tours when booked through them. Clean room and good wifi connectivity. Since we liked to walk, the 20-30 mins walk from the beach was not a problem for us. Safety box was missing however and mind your head if you are tall while entering the bathroom. Overall we enjoyed staying here. Ah, I'm not sure if this happens always or happened only to us. We booked a overnight VIP bus(sounded good) to Bangkok. We were picked up in a mini van and then transferred to a bus which actually did justice to the name. However in Surath Thani there was a bit of confusion.We were asked to get down and the bus attendant started throwing our bags out pointing towards another bus to get into. Nobody was informed that we were supposed to change the bus and english did not help to better know what was happening and to know if they would stop for dinner. Many were already asleep. The worst part was the bus which we got into. No door separating the seating compartment and the toilet and had to bear the stinking smell all night. Oh, they did stop for dinner btw, at around 12:30 a.m when I was expecting that it would probably be another bus change. So enquire properly if you are planning to book this through 3bees.

Trip to Krabi”

The stay at Krabi was memorable and 3 Bees GH made the experience easy to love. The owners and staff were polite, helpful and allowed us our space. Everything about the place was relaxed, nonchalant, clean and peaceful, keeping in tune with the surrounding hills and sea. I would highly recommend Krabi and 3 bees to younger travellers who are working on a smaller budget and would prefer quiet over extra-zealous staff and service. The only drawback, which I must state is really minor, is that the GH is about 25-30 mins walking distance from the Aonang beach.

we stayed at titti guest house for three nights. we have enjoyed the stay. the owner family are very friendly and helpful with a big smile. as casual traveler we hoped everything could be well planned. they helped us with the tour booking, bus and taxi arrangements. if you are in need of advice or tips in travelling around krabi, you had better check with the owner family
