"A warm welcome from the staff, easy check in. Pros: nice and clean rooms, perfect a/c, great facilities like swimming pool, fitness, steam and sauna. Working wifi and enough speed to watch Netflix. Cheap but very good food at their Black Jack Restaurant. As this hotel has 3 exits, it is a small walk trough the restaurant to reach Soi buakhao and LK metro. During my stay a new 711 store will be opened soon. Cons: some loud Chinese travelers coming in touring busses now and than. The hotel keeps them separated, so they don't disturb. Rock hard beds, not really 'comfy' as I stayed in other new hotels in Pattaya before who had much better beds. As this hotel should be smoking free, there are enough guests smoking at the pool and nobody cares. The staff, especially at the restaurant need some English training. Overal P plus, I give 8+"

"I have nothing but positive things to say about the Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel and Resort. Ive stayed in other hotels in the Jomtien area before and this was above and beyond any of them. The location of the Hotel couldn't be better as it gives you easy access to Pattaya, the harbor, and Jomtien. The hotel staff were knowledgeable and very helpful, most spoke decent English and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The pool is fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable with great views of the beach, refrigerator, safe, coffee maker, bottled water, etc.. The breakfast buffet was the best ive ever experienced in Thailand in the 30+ years ive been coming here. This will definitely be my hotel of choice when visiting Pattaya in the future. "I chose Tune after staying at one of their hotels in the Philippines. I hadn't booked a hotel in Pattaya and needed one quickly, so I chose Tune. The room was exactly the same as the Philippines--clean, comfortable, and basic, and in a reasonable location. If you have stayed at a Tune hotel before, then you know what you will get here. All the basics, and anything extra--such as more towels or changing the sheets, costs more. Location is North Pattaya, the opposite end of Pattaya from Walking Street. If you want to be around Walking Street, choose another hotel. If you want a quieter location, but still convenient to the beach, this is an ideal location. "

"We received a room upgrade upon arrival which was nice. The room was clean and huge with a very nice bathroom, comfortable bed (which is hard to find in Pattaya) and the staff were great. We really liked this hotel and will be back. The A-One Pattaya Beach Resort is part of three local hotels that share facilities. The only problems we had with this hotel, and I think management should address the issue, is pool access. Firstly, each day the main hotel closes it's pool at 5pm to setup the buffet for coach loads of Chinese tourists that arrive daily, so from 4.30 people that are kicked out the the two main pools end up in the small pool at our hotel. The pool at A-One Pattaya Beach Resort is very nice but relatively small. A couple of families with 5 or 6 kids on floating beds tends to fill the pool and it becomes annoying for the hotel guests trying to relax in the pool. Secondly, crusty undies... Nearly everyday we saw people either turn up at the pool fully clothed and jump in or strip down to their underwear and jump in. Men's and women's swimwear is available all over Pattaya for less than 300Baht, please buy a set before swimming..."

"Room & washroom were spic-n-span up to my expectations. Great thing they don't permit smoking inside the property, since the rooms are on the smaller side it will be a nightmare for non-smokers. Each room has a tiny attached balcony where one can smoke. Room allotted to me on the 3rd floor overlooked adjoining apartment building without any view, was very quiet though. Since I was on work Jomtien made for a great stay away from hustle bustle of Pattaya. There's a night market and the beach 5 minute walk from the property. Walk up to the beach and hop on a baht bus if you'd like to head up from Jomtien via South to North Pattaya. Up on check-in I was requested for a Baht 1000 as 'security deposit' I didn't mind this at all although figure it should be mentioned while sifting through properties to book online, perhaps I missed it? Also no intercom in the rooms, so if you're on higher floors best to keep the reception number rather than run up and down the flight of stairs. Cheers!"

"This was my fourth weekly stay at the Amari Nova Suites, and I will be returning there again soon. The rooms are well-maintained, and spacious, and clean. Basically, this is a serviced apartment with all you need. Comfortable beds, a nice kitchen (essential for me, as I am on a special eating plan) and washing machine. The only thing you really need to bring along is a portable drying line, to hang out your clothes to dry. Probably if I really tried I could get the washing machine to dry my clothes also, but it never seems to work out well and is much easier just to hang stuff up outside on the balcony. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel for single and for couples. Families with children should probably find a different kind of hotel, though. The Amari Nova is off the beaten track, in a quiet part of town. Even so, I always could find a taxi motorbike to get me out and about. My previous comments to the manager about Internet speed have been taken seriously. I am noting a much better internet service than before, due no doubt to upgrades the hotel has made. While I was there a router went down for a few hours, but the IT support quickly dealt with it. And, when all is said and done, this is Thailand, and not Japan. Improvements have been made, but expect the unexpected internet service interruption, if internet access is vital to you (as it is to me, as a business travel). I definitely want to complement the Amari manager on all the efforts made to improve the one weak link in this terrific boutique hotel: the internet. As always I did most of my eating at the Pub around the corner, indulging myself in English fish and chips and other comfort food from my past. So I can't comment on the Amari food. But I suspect it would be just fine if you didn't want to leave your hotel room and order room service. The front desk staff at this hotel are excellent, as are the cleaning staff and others. Again, kudos go to the management for a well-run hotel in Pattaya."

"We stayed 4 Nights with my 2 friends. The Room we booked by Online was not the one they had given us. This was very small for 3 people and brought to their attention, they had upgraded to a fantastic family room with out any extra payment. The first notable thing that we feel about this hotel is the freedom that we enjoy during our stay , no hustles, no interference from any side.... very good breakfast spread, different dishes..... only a small thing we felt in convenience that we faced during our stay is the group booking they do take from tour operates across the glob which gives us big croud in restaurants while on breakfast time. More about Pattaya

Pattaya has been a favorite relaxation destination for tourists and locals for over 40 years. The city is centrally located close to the capital city, so it usually sees a large influx of partygoers during long weekends.

Although Pattaya is mostly associated with lazy days on the beach followed by nightclubs, the city has accommodations for a more diverse group of visitors. Hotels in Pattaya cater to everyone from retired westerners, business travelers, young honeymooners, and families. It's an unlikely mix, and only Pattaya could make it seem so effortless.

Families often head to the quieter Jomtien Beach, a crescent slice of sand brimming with water sports and beach facilities. It’s just far enough away from the central party scene, and the hotels in this area quiet down earlier in the evening. Many family-friendly activities are based in North Pattaya, featuring Buddhist temples, elephant and nature parks, and weekend markets.

The famous nightlife epicenter of Pattaya is Walking Street, a neon-heavy after-hours pedestrian strip that follows the waterfront.

While Pattaya is widely known as Thailand's party destination, it's becoming an increasingly diverse place to vacation, with the city emphasizing the other quiet beaches and golf courses as alternatives to the bright lights.

There’s much more to see and learn about Pattaya, and the interactive map on this page is a great way to find out where the attractions and hotels can be found in this exciting city.
