Wonderful Hotel”

I keep returning to Red Planet because I always have a great stay. Everything works well including fast internet, comfortable bed and hot shower. The staff are also fantastic and are possibly the most professional out of all the budget hotels I have stayed in Thailand. Clean small rooms in a great location. The reception staff are best, 3 girls in particular, Arm and I hope I spell her name correctly-Keakaw, and another whom I do not remember her name. Incredibly nice and very helpful. I will be staying at Red Planet Pattaya the next time I'm here.

ABSOLUTE NO SMOKING HOTEL Rooms are very clean very updated but a little bit small if two person stay in one room For a single occupant the hotel is heaven in comparison to budget. Hotel staff very polite and professional. Hotel is situated right on the second road. Hotel is very secure you have to swipe ur room key card in order to access the lift Thumbs up

I chose Tune after staying at one of their hotels in the Philippines. I hadn't booked a hotel in Pattaya and needed one quickly, so I chose Tune. The room was exactly the same as the Philippines--clean, comfortable, and basic, and in a reasonable location. If you have stayed at a Tune hotel before, then you know what you will get here. All the basics, and anything extra--such as more towels or changing the sheets, costs more. Location is North Pattaya, the opposite end of Pattaya from Walking Street. If you want to be around Walking Street, choose another hotel. If you want a quieter location, but still convenient to the beach, this is an ideal location.

Exceptional”

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room is perfect; clean and spacious, and had a nice view of the street. Interesting part was using their Red Planet application to chat the receptionist for any assistance. The location is also near shopping malls such as Central Marina and Terminal 21. Taking the cab/bike to tourists attractions didn't take too long, except if you're heading South and beyond. Despite being surrounded by many food places and nightlife activities, the peace around the area is just nice too. This hotel is strongly recommended! ps: there are halal food options by the corner and across the street (street stall outside Central Marina).

Rooms were clean with free wifi. The location of the hotel was great near the beach (North Pattaya Beach - you have to take public transport to go to another beach such as Jomtien Beach). Hotel is by the main road therefore it is very safe to come back late to the hotel. There is a cool webcam in the lobby, we can take photos there and send to our mail address.

Value for money hotel with awesome location ”

Hotel is situated at the central location in Pattaya. I stayed with my wife for 3 nights and we enjoyed a lot. All the prominent places like malls , beach, cabaret shows, art in paradise are just at walking distance. For a good nightlife and if you are travelling as a couple I recommend this hotel. Pros are they don’t have any pool or gym facility available but at the price it’s justified. Finally who comes to sleep at Pattaya in a hotel. Enjoy and Happy Nightlife.

Convenient location but....”

Before Tune Hotel Pattaya,i was recently stay at Tune Hotel Kuta beach,Bali so over all is almost the same standard except Red bag with hotel logo come up with towels and toilet amenities including TV remote,this bag is complimentary in Bali(bag only all other stuffs must be returned when checking out).Tune Pattaya is at the right location of Northern Pattaya amidst shopping area,good restaurants and nightly international Cabaret shows when combine with budget price Tune is an option for those who seek clean bed in convenient location at affordable prices.Only one thing i really do not appreciate The hotel cut out power at 11AM which is not quite right because check-out time is 1200 noon should this be improved in up-coming future?

Just right for 1 or 2 nights”

Chose this hotel as I wasn't arriving in Pattaya until 11pm,so just right for a short stay until the morning.Room was,as expected small,but was spotless,all new furnishings,modern bathroom,lcd tv on wall,and comfortable bed.Bit of a bargain at the price I paid for it with Agoda.Extra towels,air con,I think are extra but Agoda do a special deal so well worth it.Wouldn't base myself here for a week,but I'm guessing these are designed for short stays,much like a Travelodge or Premier Inn in the UK.

Excellent - fabulous staff and great location”

We stayed at Pattaya for 3 nights and loved it - the hotel that is! The Hotel is in a great position (relevant to price) one block from the beach. Amazingly clean or should I say exceptionally clean!! - well done! and very very friendly staff. The girls on reception and the doorman are lovely! The receptionist let us check in early for no extra which was so appreciated as we had come on an overnight train so were very tired - thank you so much for that! It is exceptional value for money and I would definitely stay here again...THANK YOU :) There are lots of restaurants nearby and local street food which we prefer and also very close to a great supermarket in the Big C Shopping Centre nearby. Wonderful stay which we really enjoyed!!!!!

Great cheap hotel with a good location”

I booked tune hotel for 1 day thinking i would change to a better place the next day as i was arriving late at night, i ended up staying for 3 days. First the staff at this hotel were great, fast check in/out, good advice and friendly faces. The hotel is great for a budget traveller, i have stayed at other places n pattaya for double this cost with worse rooms. The hotel rooms are small but there big enough for my needs and i am 190cm tall. The shower is great, tv channels is disappointing, beds very soft. The location for the price is amazing, a few minutes walk to the beach, a mini mart across the road and a coffee shop next door. If your looking for a budget hotel in Pattaya i recommend Tune. Also for travellers who are bringing a friend to the hotel then this is fine, but you will need to go to the lobby as theres no phone in the room.

We have nice stay in Red Planet Pattaya. We were familiar with the hotel, same as in Indonesia, so ok for the hotel. The surrounding is great. Easy to get to mall, food court, or if you like you can have less than 10 minutes walk to the Pattaya beach.

Nice hotel”

i've been traveling for several months now, and my stay here was one of the best hotel experiences i've had so far. i got a good discount deal through agoda, which underlies this recommendation. don't know if its worth paying full price. its clean, but self serve, which means you have to bring your dirty towel down to reception in order to get a new one. it's also located in north pattaya, which means it is a fifteen minute walk from walking street. that being said, all of pattaya is pretty much a walking street, so it really doesn't matter. at a discount, i would bee glad to stay here again.

Nice hotel with friendly staffs ”

The hotel is in a safe and quiet zone. Just opposite Central Pattaya - a small shopping centre and only 5 minutes away from Central Festival Pattaya. Easy access to tourist attractions around the area by walk such as the theatres for ladyboy shows and a museum for tricked eyes photos.

Small space but big value”

The Tune hotel model is simple and effective - a safe, clean room at minimal cost. That said I was surprised how much was included in the "room only" price here in Pattaya and would have to say this was the best value stay of any hotel I have had for a long time. We stayed for four night including New years eve 2012/2013. The room was spotlessly clean, the air con and internet worked well and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was larger than expected and the water pressure ample. All in all and excellent stay at a bargain price.

Good budget hotel”

Before Red planet, there was Tune Hotel. Dont know whether the staff is low or the overall budget is low, the bed sheet and towels are not clean like it used to be in the past, but the rest is still good for a budget hotel of this price.

So close to perfect”

There is so much to admire about this hotel: friendly, efficient staff, small but very comfortable rooms equipped with a big safe, flatscreen TV, great WiFi and even a hairdryer, and modern bathrooms with a lovely shower. But there is one glaring omission: a fridge. I can understand that many travellers using a budget chain hotel only stay for one or two nights, so are not too bothered about a fridge, but Pattaya is a resort in a tropical country where it's important to have cold drinks handy. Although I found this hotel very comfortable and overall a good experience, I would hesitate to book it again because of the absence of a fridge.
