Romantic Retreat in the Heart of Amphawa”

I stayed at At Casa for 4 nights. The first night I was in a downstairs room right next to the water pump and the bright flouresent light in the foyer. Didn't sleep too well. The next morning I was able to move to an upstairs room which was infinitely more private, and quiet. Overall my stay was very lovely,. At Casa is probably the prettiest place on the Amphawa Klong; tourists take photos of it as they pass on boats. The tiered wooden veranda with low tables and small Thai cushions is the ideal spot to eat breakfast, lounge about iin the afternoon, and enjoy the eveningtime glimmer. Many Thais stay here on honeymoon, or dates, so I felt a bit awkward at times being the single farang amongst canoodling lovers. You really cannot beat the location or the ambiance of this hotel. The owner and staff are incredibly nice and attentive, though since she just moved to Amphawa she is not very knowledgable about the area and its attractions. The ONLY reall issue I had with my stay was that they were building on another floor to the hotel, so it was banging and drilling, and workmen all over the place, from 9am to 5pm. Bad timing on my part. Overall, Amphawa is great town to relax and unwind.

We were suggested from my friend to living here, mostly will be fully booked but this time have a good opportunities to staying here, that's was perfect trip^^ Great welcome from the receptionist, all of them really appreciate to taking care us. we have a great time stay here. Perfect Time and we promised if have any chance to visit Amphawa we will come back to At Casa Guesthouse Amphawa absolutely

Love it and wishes to return”

I stayed here with another gal friend. We were the first guests. The rooms are beautiful and owners really put in thoughts to make their hotel nice and comfortable. Hotel is by the river yet not far from the weekend river market. And it's very nice and quiet. We went to the market and was late to catch a boat to watch fireflies. Lady boss helped to arrange and we were picked up from our hotel and returned by boat. How royal. Will definitely wish to return to Amphawa and will stay in Casa again. Really nice and friendly hosts the owners are.

Lovely place”

It was a lovely place with nice staff. The location was exellent, 2 minutes walk to Amphawa float market. The place was riverside so it was amazingly wonderful. I really love this guesthouse.

NIce Getaway from Bangkok city ”

It was a one night stay in Casa Amphawa, was there during the weekday and everything is so quiet and cosy. It is a perfect choice of stay if you are looking for peace and quiet. Loved the place, definitely will come back again.

A nice homestay.”

A special place overlooking a canal, cosy and charming, at casa makes you feel you're spending a rare moment of peace on the deck. We were offered dinner when we arrived, nice authentic Thai food, then we walked on a maze of tiny street to reach amphawa market just nearby. Kids loved it. The room was big and comfy, but walls are thin so expect an early wake up from passing boats.

Lovely, small guesthouse - great location on river”

We had a lovely stay here. We went for the night from Bangkok. The guesthouse is in a stunning location right on the river front. The room was great, quiet and comfortable. Ask for a room upstairs. The staff were friendly though English was limited. You can easily walk to the market area along the river. Dinner and breakfast were included and were nice enough but the seafood on offer from the little boats is amazing. You can signal to the boats and order directly from them at the guesthouse. The guesthouse organised a fire flies tour for us in the evening. There were a few power cuts in the evening due to a big storm but this couldn't be helped.

This guesthouse is not at the busy area,very quite.But it just take 2 mins walk to the restaurant and shops,very nice loation. The guesthouse has a amazing view on the lobby,you can enjoy the breakfast with a such nice view. We try the food massage,very good with a fair price. Because we didn't eat anything when we check out, the boss even made the noodle for us for free.We want to pay for it, but she insist to reject. Finally, I leave the money on the table when she is not there. Very very nice gusethouse we ever stayed.

Of my 5th trip to Amphawa, this is the nicest guesthouse I've managed to stay by the river. Very close to the market & away from the noise. Nice & clean room. It will be good if there is mosquito nest by the window so we can open the window without worry the insects flying into the room..

Good location with reasonable price”

Nice location on Amphawa canal, the terrace over the canal was the highlight- it's lovely and relaxing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable with a powerful shower! The decoration was pretty good but need some maintanance. The only thing I would complain was the towels, they were far too old, it's time to change them all! Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Good choice for short stay”

We enjoyed our short stay at the At Casa Guesthouse. The quality of the rooms are very good with nice beds and a good quality bathroom . On the down side the American breakfast was disappointing for a non Thai visitor . The guest house has a good location very close to the floating market which is open at the weekends only.

Lovely guesthouse ever, really in love with this guesthouse. best service and feel like you stay at home. Owner is very friendly. Guesthouse is very close to floating market. Highly recommend to someone who want to touch in Thai tradition culture.

Just next to the river, very relaxing place,”

This hotel is actually not easy to find. It is at the end of Amphawa floating market. It's a little bit far away but it's in walking distance. I booked via Agoda but I think the staff could not find the record. Eventually, they still gave a room to me. The staff's English is limited but they were very friendly and helpful (like most of Thai people). You may ask them to prepare the food and flowers for you in the morning to the monks. Great experience!

Excellent place to chill”

Rooms are good, decoration is special and moden! They offer not only free Breakfast, also free homemade noodles and dinner too when it meets the right time everyday! Staffs there are very very nice! If there's something need to improve maybe there was smell from the bathroom's pipe, when I take shower, the water goes down from the pipe and a bit smell came up. But I know it's a floating market so there maybe some limitation for the house. So it's still fine for me. And also I am definitely will come back and stay in this guesthouse again!!!

great for this price”

It was great experience for Thai house upon the river next to the market. I was mistake about arrived date and unfortunately it cannot cancel by Agoda because I booked at 9 pm of the day before the real day I tend to go. I called the hotel for my problem and staff willing to change date for me without condition, it was so great. When I arrived, staff come up to see and bring us from the public parking. Great welcome drink, great breakfast and offer us to night tour to see firefly by boat without charge from the local worker (pay 60 baht by person to boat driver) That was show us about sincerely of local business who supported each other. Nice room on the 2 floor with large balcony, nice room stylish. I was sick in the midnight and staff of hotel was good take care of us.

Nice and clean little guesthouse”

The guesthouse is located on the corner of a canal not too far from the market. The rooms are really nice and clean with the mixture of Thai and a kind of Moroccan style. They are pretty unique too. I like the balcony on the canal that is like a little pier. It's very cool. You can offer food to monks in the morning or get a boat to see fireflies (60 Baht per person) from this balcony.

Nice location but service still need to be improve”

The property locates near Amphawa Floating Market (1 - 2 Mins walk). Dining at the guesthouse is quite good due to the balcony is on the riverside but the menu is limited and out of order. However, guest still can buy some from the market or roaming merchants. Room is incompletely cleanup and many room facilities is out. Water heater is not working. Service quality warm and nice but quality still need to be improve (eg. speed of responsiveness). All-in-all, if you looking for value deal and slow life, this is some place you might get into your consideration.
