Location, staff, cleanness, value... all A+”

This is a very nice hotel, located in the Old City, near a lot of restaurants (fancy and not so fancy), and walking distance to the night market. The staff will go above and beyond to accommodate you in any way they can. The front desk staff speak English...a rare commodity in Chiang Mai. My special thanks to Nam and Off. These ladies are smart and sharp. They take care of you and watch out for your best interest like they are your best friend in Chiang Mai. The breakfast buffet was nice, clean, and with a good verity. The hotel has a nice shower with shower heads that when you turn on the water, you feel like you got hit by a tsunami... no shortage of water here. The beds are not very soft, but I still got a good night sleep. The hotel has a small restaurant in front of the hotel. I ate there often because they were clean and I trusted their cleaning level. While eating on the streets could be fun, you are taking a chance in getting sick. I hear medical care for forigners could be quite costly. I didn't get travelers insurance, but I wish I had. I'm almost at the end of my trip, so... too late now. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. If I return to Chiang Mai, I would chose this place to stay.

Absolutely Fantastic”

We booked through Agoda at the AT Chiang Mai Hotel. Upon arrival wew were told we had booked incorrectly and were in fact 1 day early. They resolved this issue no problem at all and didn't charge for the extra day. We were told the best way to explore Chiang Mai at the front desk and followed their advice to a tee. Absolutely amazing advice saving us time and money experiencing what Chiang Mai has to offer. The room was large and beautifully decorated Thai style with lots of wood and even a four post bed. We told the reception we were leaving the next morning at 6am They suggested we get a wake up call which we eagerly agreed to. Somebody came and took our bags at 5.45 and they even provided sandwiches , fruit and drinks for our journey to the airport because we didn't have the opportunity to have breakfast there. I would advise anybody to stay here.

This is a wonderful hotel! I've stayed in Chiang Mai multiple times and love checking out new hotels and guest houses. I booked At Chiang Mai based on the customer reviews and am so glad I did. I travel often and the things that matter to me are location, a functioning gym, and comfort. The pool was beautiful and had chairs to lounge/tan on. The gym was functioning (for the most part) and had air con (although not always running - I suggest if you're there in hot season you turn on the air con and come back 30 min later). The treadmill worked well for walking, but not running (would shake and felt like it was going to fall apart when I ran - but walking was fine). All of the other equipment worked well. The rooms were nice and the bathrooms were huge. The bed was comfortable. You can easily walk to the Saturday Night walking market or Tha Pae Gate from here. It's also on a main road so finding tuk tuk's is very easy. I would definitely recommend At Chiang Mai to friends and will take people here in the future!

Wonderful property for our family”

This property was impeccably clean. The room that fit my husband and I and our 2 grown children was more than we ever expected and so roomy. The decor was beautiful and the amazing full breakfast was over the top with traditional options as well as western breakfast options. It's location within Old Chiang Mai was perfect for us to explore by foot! We loved @ Chiang Mai hotel!

New lovely hotel and service with a smile”

It's a brand new hotel in Chiang Mai old city, small but beautiful. The employees are so kind and helpful which impressed us very much. The travel agency inside gave the good suggestion for the tour planning. A nice hotel which is worth being recommended.

Greal location and comfort”

I stayed at two different hotels in Chiang Mai within one week and I found the At Chiang Mai to be superior of the two yet half the price of the first hotel I stayed at! The room was very clean and quiet and near many sights and bars/restaurants. The only suggestion for the hotel is don't use brown towels (there is something off-putting about brown towels in a hotel). If I return to Chiang Mai, I will stay here again.

Lovely Brand New Hotel in a great location ”

we were a little apprehensive booking this hotel as at the time it had no reviews. what a pleasant surprise we had when we arrived. the deluxe rooms are large, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. the hotel is in a great location, in the northeast end of the old city. it is a quick 5 min walk to the sunday walking market, turn right out of the hotel and walk a few minutes and there are many restaurants, massage places, a 7 eleven etc. we would definitely return again and do recommend this hotel.

Comfortable hotel in Old City & great breakfast”

There were 7 of us in 3 rooms. The hotel is new or newly renovated with elements of traditional cultural facets. It is on the whole comfortable but the elderly may have to watch out for some awkwardly placed steps at doorways which may trip someone off. The breakfast buffet was my favourite, with a good spread of Asian and Western dishes. I looked forward to that every morning during my stay in Chiang Mai. Whilst the hotel was good, it could have been a little cheaper considering the room prices in Thailand are generally low.

Fantastic location, friendly staff”

We really enjoyed the hotel, the staff were really nice and friendly. The location was fantastic, very central. It was also nice to take a relaxing dip in the pool after a day of sightseeing. We were traveling with our two teenage boys and our room was extremely spacious. We will stay at the hotel again next time we are visiting Chiang Mai.

Fabulous hotel”

We stayed at @ Chiang Mai for 4 days, booked last minute as we bordered the plane in Surit Thani. We stayed an a very roomy family room, cleaned daily, towels changed. Breakfast were Thai and Western, all fresh and plentiful. I can't fault the hotel. Perfect location. Definitely recommend to anyone

We stayed at the privilege hotel on our recent visit to Chiang Mai . We payed £45 Sterling for 2 nights so excellent value for money The hotel is very clean and comfy . Excellent location and good value.”

I enjoyed my stay, the only exception to an otherwise great stay was the limited selection and slow replenishment at the breakfast buffet in the morning; and the unhelpful "concierge," who seemed more upset at being bothered than with being of assistance. But the hotel itself was great. While the staff spoke very limited English that makes it nearly impossible to convey anything over the telephone, they were all quite peasant and helpful. The hotel was occupied primarily by Chinese tourists during the Songkran festival, although they were not on a group tour, so I am not sure if this is because the marketing is primarily directed at the burgeoning Chinese tourist flow to Chiang Mai, or simply chance.

We really enjoyed our stay at the At Chiang Mai, as it satisfied all our needs. It is centrally located, easily accessible and close to the night life. Staff was really friendly and have good knowledge of the area and attractions.

The best location”

Hotel is very neatly located in the heart of Chiang Mai and has all the facilites. The room even has a jacuzzi which is just amazing for the price.

Nice hotel”

Friendly staff that made check-in and out efficiently. We chose the family room (1 double bed + 3 single beds). The room and bathroom were both very spacious. Clean. Hotel is situated in the old town, at 10 minutes away from the airport. If you happen to be in Chiang Mai on Sunday, the Sunday Market is only 5 minutes away from the hotel.

Came back a second time!”

Great stay. So good, we came back a second time after our trip to N Chiang Mai. Staff were responsive, helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious and tidy. AC worked great. Would stay again!

Good location”

Rooms are dark because no windows. Bath room ergonomy is not good, the shower doesn't have a handle that I can take in my hand, only the bathtub. Buffet breakfast is good with many choices. Staff attitude was mixed. There was a lady at the reception who suggested what and how to visit in Chiang Mai, she is particularly nice and helpful. Internet is airport style with all the guests using the same username / password. One day we returned late to the hotel and could not log on because the maximum number of connections has been reached. We were invited to the year end party on check-in and was asked to register beforehand. When we went downstairs to attend, we were lost where to register, so asked a woman (who turned out to be the owner). She started yelling in Thai, we had no idea why. At the end, we were still seated, but didn't leave a good impression with us.

Perfect stay, quiet oasis in centre of town.”

The highlights of this hotel are the comfortable rooms decorataed in Thai Style furnishings with a huge bathroom including bath and shower. The hotel has the feel of a guesthouse in that it is small and intimate but has all the things you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The swimming pool is wonderful and immaculately maintained. The hotel is a short walk to the Sunday market and there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from within 5-10min walk. Great location from which to ex;lore the old city's many temples. Highly recommend.
