Beautiful cabins, well equipped with kitchen, bathroom and heating rack. This place is about 3 km by car from Hofn, which gives the place the proximity of having a town nearby in case you need something but also has less light pollution to expect to see the northern lights. We went in May and it was out of season then but still had a comfortable stay. It will be perfect if there's a washing machine-dryer here. Check in was fuss free in the self service accomodatuon. Will recommend for anyone who wants to stay over near Hofn.
Cozy little cabin located just outside the town of Hofn. Well renovated and located in a quiet spot off the road. Would be great for spotting auroras if the skies are clear.
It hasn't been built for long, so everything is clean and the dishes and utensils are very neat. I want to stay again if I go back. The surroundings are dark, making it great for seeing the aurora.
The accommodation was clean, and it was mentioned that the water might be cut off, but the hot water was flowing well. I stayed in a warm and nice place, and luckily, the aurora was really strong, so I saw it very well.

“Lovely Cabin”
The cabins are clean and cozy and had everything we needed. It was just a quick drive off of the Ring Road, so was convenient for our road trip. Also, Hofn is a short drive from the cabins and has tons of great restaurants. There was a very helpful booklet the owner put together, which has all the info we needed. Also, the blackout curtains and AC were musts when we were there in July. I would highly recommend staying here!
