Best location in Karon-Kata area”

I had booked my stay with Avista Grande Karon after checking its reviews, and true to its excellent reviews, my boyfriend and I had an amazing stay with them. We were upgraded to an ocean view suite, where we could see the sunset from our balcony! The hotel is in fact situated on a small plot of land, but the design was optimized and you'd have nothing more to ask for! Amazing pool and pool bar with areas to lounge, good quality breakfast although the selection was limited (not to worry if you're booking a long stay, the executive chef would be happy to cook up something special for you!) - staffs were all very friendly and helpful during our very short stay. The hotel is a short walk to the end of Karon beach - which is perfect because it's quiet and it feels like you have the beach to yourselves. You can also take a walk to Kata area for food and access to Kata beach (though it seems more touristy than Karon beach). My advice? Skip Patong and just head over to Avista Karon.

Great Hospitality from the staffs”

Our family had the vacation on Avista Grande Phuket last week and we really enjoyed it. The hotel is very nice and charming with the Sino-Portuguese design. Our kids enjoy the facilities inside, the swimming pool is good . The Game room has the pool table, table tennis , board game and PS4. The room is clean and WIFI is fast. The most things we impressed was the great service and hospitality from the staffs. The first day I checked in, I was sick with acute diarrhea. The staffs took a very good care by providing me a ORS and hot tea and offering transport to the hospital, fortunately I got better. We really appreciated that. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fabulous stylish boutique hotel”

My husband and I spent 10 wonderful nights here. The hotel is in a great location out f the madness of Patong, Karon and Kata are still bustling but it isn't craziness. The rooms were spotlessly clean and really spacious, house keeping staff were all fabulous too. We spent endless hours down at the pool which is gorgeous, a great size seeming that the hotel itself is not that big. breakfast was delicious everyday, a good selection of foods, fresh cooked eggs as you wish, interesting fruits and fresh juices. The staff in food and beverage were excellent, a special mention to Raju, John, and Tor, Congratulations to the entire team at Avista Grande.

Nice hotel with excellent service ”

The hotel was nice. Staff is very helpful and excellent service, especially staff in Restaurant (K.Bee, K.Siva, & K.Aun) They are full services mind. Breakfast was superb. I like Pathongko (ปาท่องโก๋) with homemade sauce and Thai tea is also good. It’s good impression for us during stay at Avista Grande Karon. Recommend you to stay at this hotel.

We arrive to phuket the first time,and booking for this hotel by reading the reviews. The staff who welcome us,was amazing, like all people we met during our stayed we stay in a suite with a jacuzzi ,the room big and modern the location in Phuket is also great,just between Karon and Kata,so you can walk and find restaurants, shops and go to the beach with 1 min. the pool in the hotel big and clean. the breakfast great and have all kind you ask . definitely we will back again

Good Value ”

I would definitely recommend this hotel as it’s got fantastic service and it’s value for money. It’s fantastic in all areas except for the restaurant. Buffet breakfast is nothing to shout about as its minimum spread. We tried the Grill Tuesday and the steak was pathetic. It was just a few bite size, probably less than 50g and wasn’t worth the money at all. There are plenty of good restaurants near the hotel which you can go to though. Avista Grande, please upgrade your choice of menu and quality in your restaurant. I feel that the menu at your pool bar is better.

Awesome Pool and Pool Bar Service ”

Hotel is a short walk to the Karon beach, we had a car so did not have trouble getting around to the Phuket town or shopping centres, best thing about the hotel were the rooms and the awesome pool and pool bar. There is quite a lot of people using the pools at night so if your room is near the swimming it will be noisy... our rooms are located at the other wing, with the private lap pool. Size and cleanliness all good. Just a level above the restaurant there is a nice open-air bar to watch the sunset and have drinks. Only downside is breakfast is so-so, staff are not attentive at breakfast, not clearing plates fast enough or takes forever to serve us our coffee. Other than that, all is good and will recommend. Especially if you are the sorta travellers that likes spending time at the pool.

Brilliant ”

Both my wife an myself managed to arrange a last minute 4 night stay at the Avista. The design of the hotel is beautiful, you can really tell a lot of thought has gone into it. Really nice rooms, great pool and pool bar, breakfast and restaurant... but what really stood out was how friendly and accommodating the staff were. We have travelled to lots of places but never been treated with such kindnesses by hotel staff. Highly recommend and will come back one day!

Incredible Hotel with amazing staff”

We stayed in Patong for 1 night and move as quick as possible ( too noisy for us). Then we arrived in the Avista. What a change ! The hotel is new, super comfy next to a nice beach and a relax environment. The staff is amazing , our daughter was running back to the hotel to spend some time with them. Thank you again to Karen, Zina, yann and Alain, we ll come back

Nice gateaway”

Its a very very nice hotel, clean big rooms and a very comfortable bed. The pools are clean and big and can see sunset from edge of the corner of the pool. Toiletries are all there but some need to be requested, just a little hindrance but all the necessities are provided. New hotel with friendly staff and superb breakfast, what more can one ask for? Area is not crowded and many restaurants within walking distance. Many nice places like Karon viewpoint are nearby, definitely a worthwhile hotel to stay.

Good five star property ”

This property has strategic location since it's at the end of Karon and near kata beach. Hotel is very relaxing with excellent swimming pool. For children it has kids and games room. They also gave us early check in. The only down side is their breakfast as this is not upto the standard of five star property plus personnel in that area are also not too receptive.

Perfect stay”

Great and quiet hotel with excellent pool and pool side bar. Very friendly staff that always greet us with smile and tried their best to fulfill our every request. Karon beach is just across the road, and dont miss out the banana pancake stall on your way to the beach! Awesome breakfast pastries especially the ham croissant. We literally waited in front of the tray and snatched the hot croissant before it runs out in seconds - it was that great! We enjoyed every single day spent there, highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel in outstanding location”

This new hotel is outstanding from its beautiful reception area to breathtaking pool we only used this facility once on our stay. Breakfast was good and staff very pleasant. Location is perfect across the road and you are on Karon beach and a very short walk and you are in Kata beach. If I ever return it would be my number 1 choice.

Magnificent M Gallery”

We loved our stay in Karon and the location was perfect for a relaxing beach holiday while still being walking distance to a lot of great little restaurants. The facilities were also great with a stunning pool, comfortable sun beds and a well equipped gym. Our only criticisms were that some of the staff were a bit unenthused about serving the customers and the pool bar was understaffed at happy hour.

I find taxi in Phuket to be generally quite expensive, each trip from the hotel to patong, or old town or big buddha is about 600-1000 baht, that's 24-40sgd. was a enjoyable stay but will probably not visit Phuket for a long time, other SEA beach location probably give you more bang for your bucks

Very good”

Hotel is wonderfully located just across the family friendly beach Karon beach. The picture perfect beach for family with younger kids. We had the sea view room and it’s stunning. Pool is beautiful too. Though there’s isn’t any slide in the small size kid pool but we got to use all to ourselves. Food choices are plentiful but need improvement on quality taste as it’s quite blend. Especially the hot chocolate.
