Very satisfactory hotel”
We stayed there for 4days (Superior with breakfast) and other days in @home hotel 3rd road and alfresco hotel.. among the three RCB is the one we liked the most. Service: staffs are nice,they will accomodate your inquiries well Breakfast: buffet is almost the same everyday,they only change one menu but its fine. Swimming pool: very nice,it has a bar beside it, has 4-5monoblock chairs with umbrella. Only that it can be windy and the water is cold even if they turn on the jets. Not much people swim during my stay. Laundry: they charge 50baht/kilo ($1.60-1.80USD) and so far our clothes returned complete and in good condition. Location: Infront is Bangla boxing stadium but its not noisy. 5-10mins walk to Bangla Road and 10-15mins walk from Patong beach. Has several restaurants nearby but at night u can eat across the road at Banzaan fresh market,where they have night food stalls cheapest we found around patong. Room: superb cleanliness, our room is 207 and we are facing sunset.very nice view we can see those parasailing at daytime and fireworks/lanterns at night. Quite spacious balcony too. Superb bathtub with glass wall. Very good shower flow and heater works well. They have room slippers but they dont have the "pls dont disturb/clean up" sign maybe because they auto clean the room everyday. Downside is we cant use our pirated movie dvds we bought from their dvd player. Mini bar items quite cheap for a hotel. Bed a little bit harder than usual but firm and comfortable. Their room service is excellent,delivered fast. Massage in the room is good,u save time and effort and its same price as doing outside. Additional Info: they dont have motorbike rental but its very easy to find around and shops/beach is walking distance. I promise my hubby we will stay here next time if ever we come back to Phuket.

Thanks to Agoda for offering me such a pleasant trip to Phuket! I bought this 5 nights stay at a very good deal and I must express that I am a very happy and satisfied customer from The RCB Patong :) Now, the tricky part is.. The hotel is a little hard to locate for the first time, however you may easily remember the landmark - Boxing Stadium. It is right behind the Boxing Stadium. As the hotel is very new, not many taxi drivers know about it. So, just tell them to bring you to the Boxing Stadium will do! I have read reviews about this hotel before purchasing the offer. The hotel provides all you need as a traveller aside from the bad wifi services - unstable connections. However it did not bother me too much as there are computers for you to access to the Internet at the lobby. I was a solo traveler so getting to your destinations with your feet is pretty important and guess what? Everywhere is within walking distance! The hotel is in the middle of all attractions! I went to Patong Beach every day and in order to get there from the hotel you will pass through the famous Bangla Road. You may use other alternative to get to the beach as well, you may use the path that leads you to the famous Jungceylon shopping mall (5 mins walk from hotel) , and once inside the mall you may ask around for directions, the locals are very friendly and helpful so no worries, you will always find your way! I went to the night market right opposite the boxing stadium almost every night for dinner, this is for those who like to try the authentic Thai food, the foods and drinks are selling at a very affordable price from as low as 200 Baht! There is also an Ice cream shop nearby the hotel (10-15 mins walk) called the Samaro Ice cream, must try after a hot day at the beach! ;) Coming back to the hotel, it is convenient with really great staffs, the staffs are all very helpful. Journey. - from airport to RCB takes around 30-45mins, Accesibility - 10mins walk to patong beach, have to past through Bangla road in order to get there. - 3mins walk to supermarket where you can get fresh fruits, just across the hotel. - 2mins walk to Bangla stadium for Thai boxing Muay Thai - 3mins walk to Jungceylon Shopping centre where you can find money changers, movie theatre, arcade and fast food restaurants including Starbucks. Great start to our stay in Phuket!”
Fast, efficient and good service! Don't be put off by the reception lady's demeanour or lack of smiles, as she is highly efficient. We wanted to use their complimentary internet connection in our room but had no LAN cable, but before I would open the door to go down and get it, someone was already at our door with it and helped us fitted it in. Amazing rooms! We got the cheapest room on discount through this website, but to our surprise, it was a spacious room that was luxuriously and beautifully furnished with a supportive king bed, side tables, desk, wardrobe(with safe), marble flooring and full bathroom with a very nice bathtub! The room even had a balcony though there's buildings everywhere (it is in a dense part of town so that's expected). The room was very clean and one was really tell since it's white/light coloured. Great location! Located in between the boxing ring and the rear entrance of Jungceylon shopping (largest mall in Patong), both only steps away. It is also only a short 5 to 10mins walk away from the infamous Bangla Road for the night life. You won't find rooms this nice, with such a great location and fast efficient service for this price! We arrived late from our flight and had to get up early for our trip to the Similan Islands the next day, so this was great to do a little shopping and check out the famous night life of Patong in the evening. Was a nice stay to our vacation and I would definitely recommend it for a long stay! However, the breakfast buffet was only ready when we had to leave and they did not allow us to pack even a little bit to eat on our ride there though we had paid for it with the room. This is the only negative for us.

Perfect location in Patong”
when we go to phuket, we always arrive around midnight so we stay one night in patong to do some shopping in carrefour the next day before we check-in in another resort. we used to stay in millennium for the location but then again, we check-in after midnight just to sleep so i wanted to save some money on the first night. rcb patong is a great alternative, it's right next to jungceylon, just perfect for shopping in carrefour in the morning. the room is quite big for the money, and it's clean so i decided to go back for the one first night whenever i go to phuket again. for the money i spend to stay in millennium, i could stay in rcb and do lots of grocery shopping at carrefour. i think it's a good place to stay if you do lots of day trips too. they don't have pool but it's in the heart of patong. we are not a big fan of busy patong area and a lazy couple doing nothing once we are in a resort, so one night is just enough for us. one thing, the airconditioner was off when we checked in the room so it felt hot and a bit wet inside. for that money my expectation was not that high so we are still going back.

strategic location, turning right is to Jungceylon (only 5mins walking distance), go straight is the bazaar, turning left is the famous bangla road, patong beach is reachable after passing by the bangla roads. RCB hotel has a great massage center attached charging at cheap rate. the bathtub is big and no water leaking. water pressure is great for both shower and bathing. aircon works well. tv is full with programs. beach towels are provided for your outing purposes. generally great to stay at RCB Patong hotel. i will have no doubt to return to this hotel once again.

The hotel is tucked in a lane behind Bangla Boxing Stadium. It has a massage place, tour agent desk and swimming pool (on roof top) (1) Good Location particularly if shopping is one of your primary activity in Patong. Within short walking distance to Bangla Street. About 5 minutes. Patong beach in 10 minutes (at the end of Bangla Street). Near Jungle Ceylon Mall, the biggest air-conditioned mall in Patong. The Jung Ceylon Mall bordered the hotel by a concrete wall. Not able to cross this concrete wall, the entrance/access of the mall is merely 3 minutes away which has the same fronting main road as Bangla Boxing Stadium. (2) Distance of hotel to other touristy spot is irrelevant since the package (such as island hopping, cabaret shows, elephant trekking and others) always comes with pick-up service. In fact, staying in Patong area automatically comes with the minimum package cost compare with other destinations in Phuket when pick-up service is included. Patong is the center of tour agents and has the high concentration of accommodation options. (3) Bazaan Wet Market, a wet and traditional market (with air conditioned and escalator) is right opposite Bangla Boxing Stadium. You can buy all kinds of produce, meats and vegetable here and have it cooked in the third floor “restaurant” with a small service fee. There are about 10 little “cooking shops” here whom also offer their regular Thai cuisine (rice and noddle) if this is what (regular) you are looking for. It’s worth a try, as fish/prawn/crab is really fresh and “cheap” here. Definitely cheaper than ordering the same dish in a “standard” restaurants. Buy it downstairs and freshly cooked it upstairs. What it lacks are of course the ambience the regular restaurant can offer. But it is exactly this experience that other restaurant cannot offer. But please specify your desired spiciness level as Thai food is known for their “hotness” when ordering especially for non-spicy food takers.To be continu

Awesome hotel with friendly staff”
We arrived at night because we took an evening flight there. The check-in process was pretty smooth. They have an elevator, so there was no problem getting our bulky luggage up to the room. It was a very spacious room with a decent balcony. We loved the fact that it was clean. The view was not very impressive though, as we were facing the Bangla Boxing Stadium. But it was acceptable to us, considering the price. We realised that we had forgotten to bring our travel plug adapter. It was no problem though. The reception let us borrow one when I asked them. Getting to Patong beach was convenient. Its a 10 minute walk with plenty of opportunities to shop along the way. Also, we were only 2 mins away from Jungceylon Mall. All in all, we had a great stay. The only thing bad I can think of is that it gets pretty noisy when there is a match going on at the boxing stadium in front of us. They hold matches on Wednesdays & Fridays if i'm not wrong. Its no matter if you are out at the pubs anyway..

great hotel with this price tag, 5min walk to the famous shopping center, 10min walk to the bangla road which this is the most famous road in phuket. the hotel is clean & tidy, quite which we stay at the highest floor (7th flr), we request for honeymoon decor, they perform it well. it will be excellent if all the room cover with free wifi service, as we know, just selected room only, so we have to go down to lobby for the free wifi

Great Location with Affordable Price”
The hotel is new, clean and the room is spacious for two people. Bathroom is clean with bath tub. Hotel staff are really helpful. Check-in process was really fast. Jungceylon Shopping mall is just a stroll away from the hotel. Banzaan Fresh Market, Bangla Boxing Stadium, Bangla Road, Hard Rock Cafe Patong Beach are all within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay in RCB.

Great Quiet Hotel with Nice Location”
this hotel is location conveniently behind jungceylon shopping centre...but yet quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. bangla boxing stadium right in front & 24 hour macdonalds a just 2 minute walk away. room was nice and big, with a huge king sized bed. rooms are nicely renovated & staff are friendly. definitely will stay here again, when i next visit phuket.

Great Location for the Price”
hotel is in a great location behind the new tiger ii complex and boxing stadium, across the street from the grocery day market and night market that starts everyday from around 6pm to midnight. it is also right next to the jungceylon mall where you can shop, eat, catch a movie, bowl or shop at the big c dept store. it is a 5 min walk to bangla rd and 10 min to the beach. the hotel is new with nice modern features. the lobby is nice with a plasma tv and computer to use. the wifi in the hotel was hit and miss and only worked 1 of 5 days for me. the rooms were very nice and the bathroom was great was awesome water pressure. the beds were very hard and no so comfortable. the tv was way too small for the room i think around 24 inches and ours did not work that well. the picture was horrible and they could not fix it. my buddies tv in his room worked fine but they told me it was the satellite reception and not the cable or tv itself (b.s.). the pool is on top of the hotel and is nice with views from the roof. the views from the balconies are either the back of the boxing stadium or a parking lot on the lower floors. if your staying on the 5th floor you get a partial ocean far off in the distance. the rooms were cleaned everyday and they also provide you with an extra pool towel in the rooms. they rooms have a water heater for coffee(very nice) and mini bar with actually great pricing for mini bars. a beer was 30-45 baht which normally costs you 75-150 baht depending on mini bar in hotel. they also give you 2 free small bottles of water a day. there is no guest fee in the off-season but they charge 500 baht during the high season. i paid $23 a night on agoda which was a great deal for the room and location. they're normal rate is approx $54 a night. if you can find the deal this is a nice hotel for the value and i would definitely recommend it. however, i would not pay full price for the hotel. i did not eat here so can not comment on the food.

Great location just next to Jungceylon plaza the biggest shopping complex in patong and behind the patong kick boxing arena, free wifi in room, within 5-10mins walk to the most happening place in patong Bangla road, massage palour next to our hotel, market just across the street, breakfast ok only, the only thing i dont like is the swimming pool too small and the pillow too soft but overall its definitely worth of money to stay here which i strongly recommend cheers!

Excellent Experiences and Staff Service”
First, I would like to commend is the friendly staff as she is very friendly in assisting my group of friends with a SMILE and great patience, to upgrade our rooms when we requested to do so. She is more than happy, to show us to the room that we initially booked and the deluxe room that we wanted to upgrade after some considerations. she is one good staff, who is more than willing to communicate with the hotel customers / patrons (be it when we go out for lunch/dinner or any activities), which is a truly show of care and concern. No matter how luxury or classy a hotel could be, but without a friendly staff, rendering good customer services, I am absolutely sure that no customers would want to come back to the same hotel again. Surprisingly, this friendly staff which gives me the best impression and of course, her name is clearly remembered for the good customer services provided. Good staff should be deserved to be named and rewarded accordingly. Should Miss Toy be given a chance to further upgrade herself (in terms of studies in hotel management skills etc) and holding a higher appointment, she would play an important role in the best future development of the hotel. And if you asked if I would be back to stay in the same hotel again, I would say Yes, I do. Second, talking about the hotel room now. The room, and it's bathroom and toilet is very clean and tidy. The chambermaid is also very diligent in ensuring the room is clean and tidy everyday, during the three days of stay in The RCB Patong Hotel. The air-conditioner, refrigerator (fridge), hair dryer, television, and the water heater for the bath tub are working fine. The lift is working fine with no problems at all. Maybe they just need to improve on the connectivity of the Wi-Fi, as sometimes it goes on and off. But no problem for me, as I am not a heavy user. Thirdly, would be the good location for the hotel, as it is really is. Explore yourself. =)

stayed in rcb patong hotel for only one night just for abit of shopping, the size of the rooms are acceptable, clean, new and comfortable. i got a connecting room which was very annoying as i could hear the conversation from the next door, make sure you get a non-connecting room! the location is great and is only 10-15 minutes walking distance to patong beach. jungceylon, the largest shopping mall in phuket is only 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. will come back again.

Great location, centrally located. Those reviews of people who say it takes too long to walk to Bangla Road and Patong beach are insane! It takes 5 mins walk to Bangla rd and 10 mins to the beach, walking slowly. Yes, the roads are dusty, but it's like that everywhere. The hotel is clean and good value for what you pay. The room is a bit dated, but the bathroom was nice. Nice rooftop pool with kid section, good breakfast, 2 free water bottles everyday, cold a/c in the room, good and fast wifi, and in room safety deposit boxes that are actually bolted down. They clean your room everyday. No bugs or Mosquitos. Staff spoke enough English and were friendly. Had a great stay. Would recommend to my friends and would stay here again.

Clean, Centralized & poor staff”
Me & my wife stayed at RCB Patong for 3 nights. Was a pleasant stay til our check out. We lost our money! $300 singapore money equivalent to 7200baht. We were checking out around 11am in the morning to stay in another hotel during our last day at Phuket. the next hotel was 5mins away from RCB. We had a bike, so we were transporting our luggage slowly from RCB to Sea Cono (the new hotel). We locked our safe and decided to clear our things in the safe lastly. After clearing our luggage from the room around 15 mins later we returned to clear our safe and realized that $300 was missing from our safe. And the safe was left open. When we remembered clearly that we locked it before we left! We immediately informed the reception. The receptionist informed her manager and we request to see the camera. When we returned back to the room we saw a housekeeping lady leaving from our room. And the room was cleaned up. Then we waited at the reception, the house keeping lady came down and the receptionist questioned her, she became very defensive and start raising her voice. Then the Manager spoke to us. She insisted that nothing like this has ever happened in RCB before and only her big boss has the pin code to unlock the safe. They didn't let us see the camera too. The reasons given to us were lame. And the only thing the management did was to question the house keeping lady. Totally disappointed of how they handle this issue. They were questioning us instead! Will never ever return to RCB again. Never ever! Please be careful of theft cases in RCB even though your safe is locked. But, the location was very good. The hotel was located right behind Bangla Stadium and was 10 mins walk to Bangla road. Right beside our hotel was Jungceylon shopping centre.

Great value for money”
After reading a few reviews here I was a little hesitant about staying at RCB. However, after actually staying there I would happily return in the future. Great value for money, staff I encountered were friendly and helped me out when ever they could. Breakfast wasn't the best but no deal breaker. 5-10mins walk to Bangla where all the action is, if you book for 2 persons you do not have to pay for bringing back extra guest. If you book for 1 person guest fee is 500BT.

Great location but hiding at back street”
at first you may find difficult to locate this hotel. it was hiding at the back street. some local people do not know this hotel as well. i wasnt correctly located in google map too. at junceylon shopping mall, look for mcdonald. this mcd is facing a road. turn left at the road and you shall see a pub with tigers. rcb is just after the pub. you can see a sign board beside the road, then you need to turn into the back street. the location of the hotel is just less than a minute walk to junceylon shopping mall. opposite the road there is a local market that you can find good local food at very cheap price. bangla road is also in short walking distance which is very convenient. walking to beach which is a little far for me. it tooks about 5 to 10 min walks. but if you only walk to the beach a once a day that should be fine. if you like to hang around the beach frequently i may suggest you to get a beach front hotel. room is clean and make up everyday. bathroom size with good with bath tub. overall it was a very pleasent stay at rcb patong.
