Stay at your home away from home”

The owner was so nice and friendly, he actually not always in the house but you can call him by the phone number he wrote and show in front of his home. This home locate in the centre of ChiangKhan so you can find food around here anytime you want. ChanKhiang has 2 little cute black cats walking around and sleep beside you at the lobby. This home is super comfy! You can lay on hammock at 1floor but it's quite hard to stay there in the night 'cause mosquito will kill you. I literally recommended this home to stay if you like to stay in your home away from home!

Convenient location, friendly owner(s)”

Baan ChanKhiang is a charming home, right on walking street so close to shops and restaurants. We stayed in the room downstairs (chan lang), which opened up to a footpath and a nice view of the river. The people who own/run it are very friendly. The only downside is the loud noise coming from the room upstairs. As it has wooden floors, we could hear our upstairs neighbors walking, talking quite clearly (eventhough they weren't being particularly loud).

Different accommodation than picture on Agoda website ; recently changed address to house 200m further in same street ( now quiet part of walking street ) Old & basic typical wooden house , but very charming & cosy...terrace of room looking over Mekong... Very welcoming, easy going & enthousiast host ! Makes you feel at home right away... Very good value for basic price in center of town...strongly recommend !

Feel Like Home Guesthouse ”

nice and fun decoration. so many take a photo spot. not too comfortable like a hotel but good enough for those easy travellers who just need some place to rest . just relax with feel like home atmosphere. the owner will make you feel like you own this place but do take care of the public space for other guests who sharing the house together. the guesthouse is located on the middle of chiang-kan walking street, easy to walk around and sight seeing.

Best home stay in Chiangkan”

If you are looking for genuine local life with great relax atmosphere , this guesthouse is the best in Chiangkan. The room is facing MeKong river and the fog comes knocking on your door in the morning(if you r lucky) Decoration is great and very artistic. The combination of junk art and wooden antique house is perfect. You can also order tasteful drinks made by the owner himself. The rooftop is the best place to look upon the starry sky and also to witness the sunset and the horizon. All in all, this is the best guesthouse you can find and enjoy your stay in Chiangkan.

Very relaxing place to stay or even come to visit. Loving the simplicity & how welcoming of the house owner (k.toey) & also an house keeping aunty. Downfalls would be, there should be some improvement (or renovation) of rooms&bathroom facilities just to facilitate the better service for guests.

I was upgraded first 2 nights to a room with bathroom but have to move back on 3rd night to original booking. Antique homestay and nice even sharing bathroom but sometime noisy at night. Coffee shop just on the ground floor, i like the design of antique and oldish. Can't fine anything to eat during the day unless u have a bike!

Stay in the world of insect and hold house”

I love decoration of the guesthouse but i think room should have maintenance in the room at the downstair have many hold and 1very big hold on the wall near the floor make me scary someone from outside can looking all around the room. Because of hold the effect is insect even they have mosquito net in the room have a lot of kind of insect. Window and slide door not secure some window can't lock and no have curved steel. Share bathroom and toilet clean but too small and nearly fish pond then have a lot of mosquito. 2nd night i should husband and wife guesthouse that better than this guesthouse everything.

Cozy and chic place. Could be better if hotel provides free bicycles. The front part got closed until noon. Want to have some coffee but not available.

Im a female single traveler who drove a car all the way to the guesthouse. I got very good assistant from Khun Toey, the owner when called for direction. Its simple and good value for backpacker.
