nice and sweet boutique”

Bann Haad Ngam is the first place we stay in Koh Samui. This boutique is a little bit smaller than other big resort around Chaweng beach. And the infinity pool is not big either. But you can find the staff and facility is very special and adorable during your stay. For example, i didn't mention about my birthday, but the staff come to find me with a birthday cake and sing a lovely birthday song for me. This really touched. And although there is no beach in Baan Haad Ngam, but that place is the best area to swim in Koh Samui because the wave is calm there. Other place during our stay almost can't swim due to the high wave. And it's cheap to rent a motorbike from Baan Haad Ngam, they even let us extend our renting time without charging any extra fee.

Lovely hotel, amazing rooms & service with a smile”

we loved our stay at baan haad ngam. we stayed in the delux villas amist the tropical green trees and running water. our rooms were large and well appointed with everything we needed and more. we hired a car and a scooter and the team at baan haad ngam helped us get a good deal and arranged everything. we ate at olivio's restaurant and the italian food was sensational. great tapas style options to accompany a sundowner cocktail or two or as a light lunch. the pasta was fresh and lots to choose from. the only disappointing part of the holiday was guests getting up around 6 - 6.30am everyday and reserving lounges around the pool. some guests even getting territorial making relaxing by the pool a little uncomfortable... that's if you were lucky enough to get a day bed by the pool. you're only alternative option was to find yourself a patch of sand, which wasn't exactly a hardship! my recommendation to baan haad ngam is to follow some of the other hotels in thailand and ban this behaviour. if a guest is not using the day beds then they can't reserve it with a towel!

Lovely quiet resort with large well kept rooms. ”

We stayed at baan haad ngam for about a week and had a great time. The resort is nice and quiet, a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of chaweng beach, while still only being a 15 minute walk away. The hotel has 4 daily shuttles to the centre of chaweng, and a taxi costs 200 baht ( taxis are expeNsive throughout samui). Breakfast was nice and staff were very friendly. There is a travel agent at the top of the hill leading to baan haad ngam which had really good prices for tours ( look for the bulldog). Overall a great experience and would stay there again and recommend to friends.

The Beautiful Baan Haad Ngam”

Location: The resort is situated just north of the main Chaweng strip. It is perfectly located, close enough to the heart of Chaweng (1 min on bike) and far enough away to be just out of reach of the frantic Chaweng strip. Service: After staying at another resort on the island we can safely say that the service at Baan Haad Ngam was unbelievable. The staff were extremely friendly and always smiling, their english was good, and they were always willing to help with any problems. The first night we were there in the restaurant my girlfriend was presented with a birthday cake. They had seen on her passport that it was her birthday and made a beautiful cake to celebrate. When the room was made, the towels were constructed into little animals and everything was made spotless. Food: Breakfast was served overlooking Chaweng beach and was very nice - you couldn't ask for anymore. The restaurant was beautiful and very reasonably priced for the food served.

Baan Haad Ngam boutique resort has made my holiday in Koh Samui. It is located not too close to the busy part of Chaweng, so noise pollution is not a problem at all. The view of the sea from the pool is too good to be true. Five star Italian restaurant, Olivio, is something you cannot miss. All rooms are nicely decorated. Jacuzzi is the highlight.

LOVED Baan Haad Ngam, would stay again!”

I absolutely loved this hotel, and would come back again and again. If you are into quiet, boutique, luxury hotels, Baan Haad Ngam is the place for you. The rooms are nicely appointed with a jacuzzi in every room, the infinity pool on the beach is tranquil, and I loved breakfast on the beach every morning. Dinner at Olivio was delicious and well worth it. The aromatherapy massage at Satira spa was one of the best I've ever gotten. It's a 15 minute-walk to Chaweng, which may seem like a long one, but it's just enough to give this hotel all the peace and quiet needed for a relaxing vacation (if partying is what you're after, a 5 minute taxi ride or a 15-minute walk will put you in the middle of all the action). Another thing I loved about this hotel is that all the lounge chairs are around the pool area, which is on hotel territory, which means you don't get harassed by beach vendors trying to sell you anything from jewelry to ice cream every two minutes while you're trying to relax (which is the case with most other hotels in Chaweng). Trust me, it was worth it - especially when you just wanna close your eyes and get a tan without being bothered, or just read a book.

Wonderful hotel in a quiet part of the beach”

We were booked for 2 nights and wished we had stayed longer. The room was absolutely gorgeous, clean and had a warm ambience. After 2 and 1/2 weeks of backpacking and yoga retreats we were looking forward to a bit of luxury and a nice hot shower. Baan Haad Ngam definitely delivered on the luxury part, unfortunately we didn't have hot showers. We informed the front desk and they sent someone to fix the water situation within 5mins. After the repairman had come to fix the shower, we only had about 2mins worth of hot water and then it was back to lukewarm/cold. For the price and standard of the room, I would expect to have water. The breakfast was just wonderful and the best we had in a while, such an extensive menu that will leave you feeling absolutely full. Olivio, the onsite Italian restaurant is really good but quite pricey for Thailand. In conclusion, this is a wonderful hotel and worth every penny (we just wish we had been able to have hot showers) the staff were incredibly friendly, chatty, positive and fun with huge smiles. The resort is also on the quieter side of the beach. We would definitely stay here again as we absolutely loved it!

A very pleasant boutique hotel”

I enjoyed my stay at Baan Haad Ngam Boutique Resort and was well cared for despite a problem with my booking. I can't say enough kind things about the manager! The bed was comfortable and I slept very well. The travel desk helped book a tour to Ang Thong National Marine Park. The gnocchi with Samui lobster from Olivio, the Italian restaurant, was delicious. The location suited me just fine with its fantastic view. At high tide you may get your feet wet returning from the beach but mai pen rai!

Friendly, clean, convenient, great food, bigger rooms”

I recommend the Baan Haad Ngam. I visited a Koh Samui 5 times and picked the hotel because of the restaurant. But, the staff was really friendly, the pool was great, the gym was excellent and the air conditioned room off the lobby was always s cool place to chill after being out on the town. The captain saluted is when we arrived and took care of our mopeds, Yong and Yong and Oh took care of us at breakfast and at the pool was always happy hour with great spicy peanuts. Outstanding aesthetics and service”

Staying at Baan Haad Ngam is like living in a botanical garden. The many different plants, streams and brooks make it very lush. The pool is another great feature. Beautiful and right next to the beach. Also, it was a joy sitting in the restaurant next to the beach. We had lunch and dinner there and liked the food at the Olivio restaurant very much. The staff was very cordial, service oriented and willing to help us whenever possible (English skills were good). When they recieved our passports, they became aware of my birthday and surprized us with a cake when we came back from our boat trip. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes to walk to the shops and restaurants in Chaweng (200 bath by taxi). We didn't mind. Being off the beaten track made the place tranquile - hardly any souvenir sellers.

Wow Beach Pool & Restaurant on the Beachfront”

Baan Haad Ngam Boutique Resort was truly fantastic, from our reception through departing, truly an amazing experience. The beach, pool and restaurant are within a few feet of each other. Not a place to go if you want to walk to other restaurants, but the hotel restaurant makes it unnecessary.

Very good hotel but far from center”

Overall, we enjoyed our 4 night stay at Baan Haad Ngam. Hotel was very quite and clean, although a bit far from the center of things in Chaweng which means you need either to use the hotel shuttle to get there, or use a taxi which costs 250 Baht each direction. The room was nicely decorated. As we were in honeymoon, we were greeted by a large bouquet of roses, a bottle of chanpagne and a plate of fresh fruits. Breakfast was good with a large variety of ingredients. Bathroom was very clean and spoiling with 2 sinks, jacuzzi and a large sprinkling head shower.

we enjoyed the stay in baan haad ngam a lot as this is a bit a way from chawang but still close. u got a great lcation with all u need but one thing u must be aware of. the is no direct beach. but the pool area and the restauarant is good and the rooms are really nice with the balcony towards the inside off the area. u also have some villas next to the pool. from the hotel u can walk via the beach to central chaweng. nearby u found shops and stores on the back street. a nice hotel resort to stay in.

Loved the private pool”

One of my favourite features of Baan HAad Ngam was the room with a private pool, beachfront. It has the downside of not having a SPA bath, but in exchange it has a reasonably sized private pool, big enough to jump on some inflatable, drink some cocktails and enjoy life. The room itself is very spacious and the bed is huge and comfortable. The breakfast is worth the trip by itself and the restaurant was one of the highlights of the trip. Loved the pizza and basically everything we ordered from the menu was surprisingly good and with a good price. The beach can come and go with the tide, but overall is nice and the hotel have good viewpoints for the sunset and during the day. You can drop by some nearby island with a free kayak provided by the hotel, quite fun.

What a wonderful hotel”

We have been in Baan Haan Ngam for 3 nights. The resort is in the northern part of the beach so quite quiet but there is no beach in front of the hotel as the sea was hight tide the whole day. The beach in the north part of Chaweng is not very nice, should go to the center. The resort is very nice, it is composed of villas and 2 of 2 storey building. 4 rooms per level, all garden facing. There is a waterfall in the garden with is relaxing during the day, it is turn down at night for a good sleeping. We were in a room a the top floor, so the room was quite light, the room, the bathroom and the terrace were spacious, cosy and clean. The jacuzzi iin the bathroom is not enought powerfull to provide a good massage and it is large for 1 person. The housekeeping was excellent, every day they clean up the room and they fold our towel in animals over the bed... very cute. Every evening,they prepare your room (prepare the bed, the curtains, the candles). The pool was small, but we enjoy it in the late afternoon after a day in the sea. I recommend you this hotel... We booked the hotel by Agoda so the discount was very good comparing to the original rate.. so excellent money value.

Lovely place, great staff, well located”

My partner and I spent two nights in the Resort and we are stunned. It is definitely a four star place. The staff is absolutely nice and caring. The breakfast is a clear recommendation, great food and fantastic coffee. Another positive aspect is, that the Resort is located at the end of the beach, no stupid party tourists and the best part of the beach. We enjoyed the pool area with the infinity pool a lot. My partner and I 100% recommend the Baan Haad Ngam. Thanks to the team.

Exceptional”

From the moment you arrive, you will feel how welcoming this place is. The staff here are excellent, the waiting lounge has amazing cappuccinos and a simple yet adequate gym. The rooms are incredible. They are clean and just beautiful. The beds are the best. My boyfriend and i had 13 hr sleeps in this room. Incredible value for money. Located abit away from main area but easily accessible by cab through navigo I went on a 6 day trip to koh samui and stayed in 3 very different hotels, one other being a 6 star hotel. But Baan haad was by far my bf’s and my favourite. We are already planning our next trip next year to stay here. Give this a try. U will love it
