Lovely staff and helpful”

Nice place and comfortable. The staff are lovely and helpful!!. I goes their the first time, I rent a motocycle and had an excident. I was call the hotel staff that them come immediatly. They change a new motocycle and no charging. Thank you so much, Baan I Taley On Sea.

Arrived unannounced to Koh Larn pier from Bali Hi pier Pattaya on normal ferry. When we asked directions to the hotel we were passed to a lady that asked "you stay 3 night's?", seems we were expected and after a phone call, a motorbike came to pick us up. A little unnecessary as it was just a 5 minute walk, but appreciated as the signage is not great once there. The room was basic but adequate, I assume one star each for toilet and shower, half star for effort. No room cleaning or bed making over 3 days, even bin not emptied (Ants appreciated this more than we did) 30 seconds from main baht bus terminal meant excellent island and beach access with minimal fuss. All in all very pleasant stay, staff (Motorbike driver and concierge)helpful and unobtrusive. Island a dream and the less busy beaches bliss. Do not go to monkey beach looking for monkey's, there are none, lol.

nice to go to koh larn for a better view and a better beach than pattaya, the hotel has aged a bit compared to the photo but it's ok, rooms are big enough and clean nice view on the sea, very good for romantic evening. you can take moto taxi from the pier and it will cost you nothing as long as you go to your hotel. room are cheap so it's ok if it's not perfect

Fantastic island, but ignore the immediate area”

there are not many 5 star places to stay on koh larn and we weren't expecting anything too fancy. this hotel is a quirky place - built out over the water in stilts. there is a short walkway to reach the rooms ( no handrail so walk steady or don't drink too much!) at low tide which is most of the day - the immediate area between the shore and the rooms is really foul. it's cluttered with rubbish and debris and is quite an eyesore. luckily it doesn't smell as bad as it looks. at night it's covered in water and is much nicer. the owner is a friendly guy and also rents motorbikes for 300 baht for the entire day which is very economical and also the preferred way to get around, on the way from the ferry to the hotel, there is a pizza and coffee place. do try the pizza - its fantastic! and lovey people own the place too. we stopped in at least twice a day to enjoy the company and great food/coffee

I booked this hotel for the second time. the first time i came here alone and i enjoyed so much. this time i came with my friend. the room is lovely decorated. nice sea view but dont forget to book the sea view room otherwise you wont enjoy it as the surrounding outside the hotel is not pleasant, there are nothing just a temple and street. there is no beach here but you can take a taxi called Song Taew, just Baht to go to other beaches. Nearby there is a coffee shop and pizza reatuarant which i like the most, can't wait to eat them every time i go to Koh lan

Perfect sea view from your room”

Just open your window the terrace is facing the sea, actually it is ON THE SEA. So romantic location for couple, I had dinner and drank beer during sunset background with my husband. Such a nice place ! Not included wifi and breakfast, but trust me it is worth for your money with this superb view :)

Rustic ”

Just a small 5 min walk from pier.. very rustic rooms overlooking sea back towards pattaya.. very close to bart bus park.. little night market 7-11 and little cafe's.. big windows in bedroom to see out too sea. Clean enough.. wouldn't take children as plenty of water all around.. one night stay.. spot on..

Great Hotel By the Sea”

Waking up in the morning with the sun and sea beside me was fantastic.. the room overlooking the sea, sitting at the balcony enjoying the breeze.. Location was not bad, about 5 mins walk to the pier.. They even have motorbike for rent.. Friendly staff and room service was always done when we are not in room.. Recommended for the peaceful and quiet place..

this guesthouse is located near the pier around 500 meters you can walk from pier to the guesthouse. the superior on sea room is located really on the sea. so, the view from the window is very beautiful. the staff is very lovely and have high service mind. you can take the shuttle bus from the pier to go to the beaches around koh lan. it has many restaurants near the pier.

These guys had no idea about my booking and took a little while to sort that out. Cabin over the sea was worth it, I instantly felt relaxed. Cabin had everything I needed and a good night view of the city of Pattaya. The one bad thing I would say was the rubbish in the ocean under the cabin. Could definitely do something about this. Located close to little market and 7/11 so easy to get supplies. All in all, a beautiful relaxing little spot and worth the upgrade to the cabin over the sea. :)

Best location”

Centrally located within 5 minutes walk of all of the island's facilities. Located on stilts on the water the sunrises are spectacular and you get a beautiful sea breeze.

The hotel is located in the sea, so that why I recommend 5 stars about the location, night time around the terrace is quite nice. I reserved the I Talay On Sea room and for sure that you get the border room cause it's better and quieter. The room a bit too old, I don't sure is a style of the room? Not often to see staff in the front and the price is not included the breakfast. I checked with another friends who do the same trip with us but booked another hotel in the service is better. But if you're kind of people that don't mind about self-service so I recommend this to you. it's very appreciate with the wave sound till you slept including your private terrace.

Superb little hotel”

The room (Oceanview) was awesome with a private terass over the water with a view of the Pattaya Skyline. Small room but it was great. Im going back someday.

Ammenities very average. Would not visit again. ”

If we visited baan i taley by the sea would catch ferry over 30 bahts each way and visit beautiful beaches. We would stay on mainland.Even a night too much.

I go to stay at long weekend, many people around here, but this place is quiet. I rest at "Rim Tale" (not on sea). Room is big and private with large bathroom, I like it so much. I have problem with check-in and check-out because it's difficult to contact lobby. Overall is OK, this place near market (afternoon). If you want some activity, ask personnel.

Excellent Sea View”

It have balcony to the sea!!!Very nice sea view and u can see the fantastic sunshine in the morning. u can see the stars in the evening. very ,very, very nice place for couples.

economy with on the sea view”

The resort is really close to the pier so it is easy for you to just walk to the resort and it is really on the sea. You can hear the sound of the wave all the time and you really feel "the sea" atmosphere. Moreover it is just beside the market, so it is easy to you to order and grilled prawn, oyster with butter and garlic and other food and enjoy the wine at the balcany with your friends or sweet time with your love.... However the air-con is not very good and not so cold so the people who really like cold aircon might have a problem with it. the toilet can't lock properly and there is not hot water shower.

Budget convenient, clean and comfortable hotel”

Good guesthouse, next to the pier which is the heart of the island, close to street shopping, helpful manager (who picked me up from a cafe when I was hunting the place down). Clean room, nice orangy looking rooms, and sitout. The sea facing rooms were better.

Good Location”

there is a very small hotel. good location. just 10 minutes walk from the pier. good to find some restaurants around there. pattaya city view from the balcony. the room is normal but a bit inconvenience. no warm water, bathroom is not good, shower is broken and no fancy at all.
