    “Basic necessities for cheap price”

The other reviews about bed bugs, mold, awful bathroom etc made me sceptical about this hotel but I’m glad I went. Upon checking there were no signs of bed bugs under the mattress or anywhere else in the hotel room. The bathroom is typical bathroom for a cheap hotel room in Southeast Asia. Tiny toilet just big enough to use the toilet and take a shower. Most of the time when I book a hotel they have a double bed. This one had a single bed and the room was just big enough to fit the single bed and open a luggage on the floor next to the bed. Not luxurious, but who wants to waste money to pay for extra luxurities you don’t need or want when you are on. Budget? This hotel offers exactly the basic needs and nothing more. My biggest issue with the hotel is that the room has a window to the corridor. I can hear everyhing that happens in the corridor. One guest was also watching a video on his phone in his room with sounds on and I could hear it. Luckily it was quiet most oft heard time and I did not hear any noise at night. The room also has the same kind of window to the outside that bathrooms in Bangkok usually have - one window going halfway down from the top and another window going halfway up from the bottom to allow for ventilation. I expected it to get too cold at night but to my pleasant surprise the window is big enough for the room not to get too hot and small enough for the room not to get too cold. The window has a mosquito net so mosquitoes cannot come inside. Be also aware that the checkout opens at 9 am. The hotel has a restaurant too but when I went there in the morning it was closed and I decided to eat elsewhere to have enough time to checkout after eating. If you absolutely have to checkout before 9 am to go to your next destination this place might not be the best fit for you.

“One of the worst accommodation we've had so far in Southeast Asia”

Firstly, communication is definitely not one of their assets, we tried to contact them more than 24h before checking in, to let them know that we were arriving early and if an early check-in was possible. We didn't have any answer. Secondly, the room was filthy, especially the bathroom where I strongly recommend you to wear flipflops since the floor hasn't been cleaned up for at least a few years. Ceiling was moldy, and downstairs, you'll get the nice surprise to meet a bunch of rats pretty much every day/night. Rooms are definitely not soundproof, which means you'll probably have to ear one of your neighbours' alarm during the morning and the WiFi is signal was really poor on our room. Thirdly, we had troubles with water and electricity in our bathroom, which didn't seem to surprise the staff at all. Even though they fixed the problems, the spare room they offered us in exchange was too bad for us to accept it, and we really had to insist in order them to fix the water and electricity quickly. Last but not least, we were kind of on a hurry for our checkout since our taxi was here, and the lady at the reception didn't seem to care about it. She took her time, called several different people, to finally give us back our 500 baht deposit after about quite a while. If you ever come to Chiang Mai, I highly recommend you to pass on this hotel, even though it's cheap, you get great chances to be disappointed, and to turn you stay in Chiang Mai to a worse memory than it should be.

    “Amazing!”

Staying here has been super comfortable. I love the aesthetics and atmosphere. It’s super close to a large variety of restaurants and shopping stores. The staff were very friendly and ready to offer help when needed. I stayed here for almost a week and would come back. Highly recommend.

    “Pretty good.”

The small room and the mattress are a bit hard. Cleanliness needs to be improved. The room has a slight odor. The toilet is poorly maintained. The staff is quite friendly. You need to leave a deposit of 500 baht. The location is close to many restaurants. They do not provide toiletries such as soap and shampoo.
