Nice resort, friendly staff”

it is a nice quiet resort situated away from the bustle/noise of patong. it takes about 15 mins by walk to the patong beach from the hotel. it is situated on a hill with a steep slope; the uphill walk might be difficult even for a normal person. however, the hotel provides a free shuttle service to patong beach, bangla road and jungceylon shopping center every 1-2 hours. the room was spacious with a comfy sofa, coffee table and 32" lcd tv. there was a balcony providing beautiful views of the mountain. the hotel has a very beautiful split swimming pool. the staff were very friendly. the breakfast buffet collection was good, particularly the egg station. overall, very much satisfied with the stay at baan yuree and would recommend this hotel if you want a nice quiet relaxing stay in phuket.

Baan Yuree Resort is located on a slope, away from the crowd of Patong. The hotel provides for transfer every 2 hours to Patong beach. Staffs are friendly and speak english. The hotel is very quiet, ideal for a relaxing holiday. The pool is nice and unique with a 3 tier design. The breakfast is decent, don't expect major changes in menu but the eggs were fantastic! Wireless internet is provided for free so you can always stay connected, just don't expect blazing fast speeds. The rooms are huge, and very well furnished. I would recommend this hotel if you want a nice quiet holiday along Patong Beach.

Great looking hotel,Fantastic pool,very spacious!”

the rooms are very spacious and has a large cupboard and many drawers.it has floor to ceiling sliding doors opening up to a good size balcony with outside chairs and table. took us about 10-15 minutes which was a good idea to see more around the place, there is a nice italian restaurant around the corner in the next street and decided to have an early lunch, very nice food(it is next to an italian/french restaurant). the baan yuree restaurant has a great menu of choice and serves plenty. the staff are friendly and the guy at the restaurant bar makes the best presented latte, i asked for a special request to make it in the big glass and he was very happy to make it for me. you can book tours at the hotel in the foyer, our phi phi island tour was at a discount price because we booked it with the hotel.

Perfect short stay destination in Patong”

We arrived at Baan Yuree after a long flight from Sydney, and we were greeted with a cool lemongrass scented facecloth (a dream after a long flight!) and a fruit juice. The service was impeccable from the start, and never faltered. We stayed here 2 nights at the start of our trip (and got upgraded to a deluxe room) and then one night at the end. Best part was chilling at the 3-level pool. Breakfast was OK, not the best but still good. At the end, we had spent the day shopping and at the beach and although we had already checked out, they allowed us to use a room to have a shower before we left for the airport. Awesome! Fantastic value for money and would definately stay here again.

Great value, great staff”

our stay at baan yuree was an overall joy. we'd read that the staff were a bit ho-hum, but our experience was totally the opposite. utterly friendly and helpful. at times there were communication difficulties because the only thai we had was what the staff taught us - but whose fault was that? certainly not theirs. in the end we always had a positive outcome. the rooms were clean and quiet, aircon worked, if there was a minor problem it was attended to immediately. there were free transfers to patong beach and the jungceylon shopping centre every 2 hours between 10am and 10pm. outside those times they'll charge 150 baht. getting home is an easy 30 min walk from town - except for heart-attack hill at the end. (there has to be a hill if there's a good view.) the really great thing was that you were away from town when you were home - no city noise unless you chose to go to it. you pay a little more for food and drinks at the resort, but that's the price of convenience. it was only a small price. overall, a great little home away from home.

Lovely resort with Thailand right outside the door”

After travelling through the whole of Thailand, Phuket was our last stop and we stayed at Baan Yuree for a week. The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. The bathroom was more like we were used to back home, although our shower leaked severely. The food was good with a fine selection at the breakfast buffet, although they would do well in tweaking their pizza recipes. The swimming pool was lovely and huge, but the water was very cold at times. I can not fault the service or staff as they were exceptionally friendly and efficient. The hotel is rather far from Phuket Town though, so if seclusion is what you are looking for, this is the place for you. All in all a fantastic stay.

we had a fantastic stay at baan yuree the staff were fanastic and spoke good english, te rooms were clean and spacious and looked better in real life than on the internet. would definately stay there again as it was a great spot out of the hustle and bustle of the town but close to everything still.

Great hotel a bit out of the way”

This hotel is a bit far from the main area of Patong but the shuttle is very efficient and always leaves on time. We walked several times and it only took about 15 minutes to get to the beach/Bangla Road. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff came and made up the room every day. The pool is great, with a swim-up bar on the top level. The restaurant, Oasis, serves really good food at a relatively cheap price. The breakfast is not bad and there was always plenty of food. Plus they were open for breakfast from around 7 to 10:30 every day. Boom-Bim at the tour desk was so friendly and sweet and did a great job helping us book activities we wanted to do. The only problem with the hotel is the front desk staff is a bit disorganized and forgetful. They neglected to pick me up at the airport, even though I had reminded them twice by e-mail. To apologize, they gave me a free spa voucher and a refund for the amount over I had to pay a taxi to bring me to the hotel. Check your bill carefully when you check out. There were a few incorrect things on mine like charging us twice for a late check-out. The spa is very nice and has a great atmosphere. I had a one-hour foot/leg message and it was wonderful. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you don't mind not being just a step away from the nightlife. It's only 5 minutes by tuk-tuk, although the drivers usually charge extra because of the hill.

The hotel itself was located on the hill that gave an incredible view and the ocean breeze was so calming.The hotel was very clean and the staffs were friendly .They had shuttle available to take us to the landmarks of Patong.Entirely an amazing experience provided by Baan Yuree

Great hotel, great staff”

We had a great stay at Baan Yuree, it was a clean and modern and very attractive. There was a good variety of food available for breakfast, a good room service menu and restaurant, and a beautiful pool. We would definitely look at staying here again.

great service but not so convinent place”

it is a nice experience staying in Baan Yuree Resort & Spa, counter staff are helpful and able to communicate well. the western food in hotel restraurant were quite nice, i like the italian pasta, breakfast provided were not much choice compared with Novetel. as it is up a hill, so it is not very convinent to travel down and up... in general, it is good, good deal for its price.

New Resort”

Baan Yuree Resort & Spa is a new hotel located a bit away from busy Patong beach. You can rent a motorcycle to move around. It is a beautiful new hotel with spacious room. The resort concept reflects everywhere in the resort, from room design, swimming pool to resort design. I like the scent of the room most and the mattress is nice to have good sleep. However, since it is a new resort, the road to the hotel is not proper yet and there are construction going on around the hotel and at back of the room. The staff also very poor command in English languange.

Clean and basic hotel, not so great location”

my friends and i stayed at baan yuree for 5 nights. the hotel overall was pretty clean, but you get what you paid for -- basic. the rooms were clean, but nothing fancy about it. the pool was nice, but not very big. the swim-up bar was a nice touch! the food at the hotel was decent, but again not fancy. the location, thought, was a disappointment. on google maps, it showed the hotel to be pretty close (or somewhat walking distance) to the beach. in reality, it was extremely far from the nice part of the beach and the patong town. the hotel was located on a steep hill, which i didn't bother climbing up as i was on a "relaxing vacation". even though the hotel offered free shuttle to/from patong beach and the jungceylon mall (the largest mall in patong town), the shuttle was scheduled only once per hour, and with the latest shuttle at 10pm. we found ourselves spending alot of time waiting for the shuttle, or cutting our night short because of the last shuttle. our other choice would be to take a taxi/tuk tuk which costs about bhat to get back to the hotel, but we'd rather spend the 200 bhat on food or shopping. our phuket experience was greatly discounted because of the hotel's location. we would definitely make use of the patong beach more often if the hotel was a beachfront hotel.

Great Value”

Nice quiet resort away from noisy, tacky phuket. I would definately reccomend this hotel if you either like Phuket, or if like me you just needed an overnight stay for an airport transfer. The location of the hotel and also the hill are not a problem (as have been mentioned in other reviews) as there is a free shuttle bus at certain times and a charge outside of these times. Plus it really isn't that far... If you miss the shuttle, just outside the hotel is a tuk tuk stand which will agree to same price as the 'out of hours' hotel shuttle if you barter. Staff were helpful and made a very early morning packed breakfast for us to take to the airport. Nice pool and hotel room was clean and very spacious. Very reasonable prices to other hotels in more central area.

Perfect...nearly !!”

I had read all of the positive reviews on Trip Advisor and the hotel was everything that I expected...and maybe a bit more. Stayed in Room 1502 and had a lovely view out to Patong. The room was very roomy and had a very comfy sofa and a decent size balcony. Housekeeping was excellent and everything was re-stocked and cleaned every day. Breakfast was nothing special, but the omelettes were cooked well and bacon was plentiful. Swimming pools were great and almost every day I had the run of the pool area. Swim up bar was staffed all day, but very little activity. Free shuttle up and back to Patong ran every two hours and was great - ran on time and saved having to walk up the 'HILL'. Believe me, it is steep !! I walked either to the beach (easy 15 minutes) or to the major shopping centre (easy 20 minutes allowing for the inevitable interruptions along the way. Personally, I didn't really care for Patong, but I am very happy to have stayed at this hotel. No complaints at all - staff helpful and a great location. Would definitely stay again

Welcome home”

We left for 5 days and when we returned we were welcomed back like old friends. The staff were either fantastic actors, or they were genuinely pleased to have us back. We were given a room upgrade for our last 3 days - everything else was as our first stay, delightful. If you want perfect English, maybe go to one of the big joints in the city proper and pay 4 times as much. We were more than happy with Baan Yuree.

I had stayed at Baan Yuree resort for 2 days, room is big, around 40m2, with big terrace. but the washroom is quite small. ~8m2 only.
