A hotel located in the heart of the city, very convenient to travel to various places. The room is very impressive. I booked a standard room, but when I checked in, the staff informed me that they upgraded the room to a larger one with a view of the city and the swimming pool. The room is clean, no musty smell, and fully equipped. The breakfast here is also delicious with a variety of menus. The dim sum is delicious, the fresh fruit smoothies are new, and the drink menu is complete. The swimming pool is not crowded. The banquet room here is also good, with good service and delicious food. The bathroom is clean. The staff is very good, even the housekeeper is lovely. I am very impressed and will use the service again next time.

The building's elevator system is confusing, but the staff is helpful in directing guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a good-sized bed. The breakfast is delicious, especially the Indian food. However, the highlight for me was the congee, which reminded me of my childhood. They also provide crispy noodles and boiled eggs as toppings.

We were allotted one deluxe room at 74th floor and here is the detailed review. Location - The hotel is located about 300 meters away from the RATCHAPRAROP metro railway station which has a direct connectivity from Suvarnbabhoomi Airport and hence reaching here was not all that difficult. It is located in the middle of the market with all lavish and sprawling malls in the area. Lots of street food joints, street garments shops and yes, massage parlors are spread all over. The lounge/ reception of the hotel is on the 18th floor and the hotel is 84 floors tall. Don't worry. The lifts are super fast. Cost - Price is on the higher side but I guess it is worth it for 1-2 days. They were insisting on security deposit, that too despite the fact that we had paid full advance during booking but we mentioned that no such clause was there in the booking slip and hence it was rather unethical. They paid heed to it and security deposit was waved off. Cleanliness - Hotel is clean and neat, but it is a bit old it seemed. So at places there are a bit of foul smell The ground floor could be much better. It is not upto the mark. Comfort - The rooms are absolutely fine. They provide only two small bottles of drinking water and that's it. The washroom was sprawling. Rooms are good. Possibly one or two whiskey glasses may be added to the crockery inside. Front Desk and Reception - People are generally courteous but some are not very helpful. Concierge services were not available and we carried our luggage to our room. But the front desk manager at the check out counter was extremely courteous. Since we had checked in at about 10pm the previous night and as per hotel rules the checkout time was 11am next morning, we had requested if we could checkout on time, keep our luggage in the storage (which is a free service) and look around the hotel a bit, that was immediately permitted and our checkout time was also postponed till 12. Also I had requested for a bill invoice in my name as a souvenir. But technically they could not since my booking was through Agoda. Despite the same, they were kind enough to generate a zero amount bill for me and allowed me to keep the same as a token of memento. Breakfast - Our package included breakfast. Buffet Breakfast is spread on 78th and 81st floor. At both places, the breakfast spread was simply fantastic with all sorts of fruits, yoghurts, beverages, and dishes of various taste and cultures across many nations displayed. Staff here was extremely courteous. But it is a self service counter and it seemed people in this country take pride in providing, but not serving, other than maybe old and incapables. One may help himself at leisure. The breakfast timings are till 10am and that's it, no more. Room Service - Now this was a sore point. People appeared high headed. I had asked for another tall glass but that was not provided despite a 30 minute wait. Other than this little episode, the experience here was pretty good. Revolving Deck - The revolving deck on the 84th floor, about 309 meters high is something one must not miss. Its simply awesome and almost the whole of Bangkok can be seen from here. The circular metallic deck revolves around the building from 10 to 10. Its a must see. Observatory - The observatory is another beautiful place. its educative and a photo zone. One gains good knowledge about the cultural heritage of the country here. Its again not to be missed. Swimming Pool - It is located on the 20th floor that itself is higher than many other adjacent buildings. Its not very big though. But it has a cool serene atmosphere. One may sit and relax at the garden lay-back long chairs aside the pool and have a peaceful siesta post a good tiring swim. Staff here was seen constantly working hard towards the good upkeeping and maintenance of the facility.

Absolutely that your comments have already been passed on to the relevant managers for their urgent rectification and further to your feedback, please be advised that the makeover of guest rooms and public areas is now in the progress for the more modern look, however, since the work has to be done behind the public sight so as to avoid all disturbances of the refurbishing process, plus the huge spaces of the premise, it will take a bit of time to cover all areas.
Good Hotel But Dishonest Tour Partner”
Nice hotel, but I don't think there will be a second stay unless I don't have a choice. This is going to be a lengthy review, please scroll all the way to the end if you want to know about the hotel's tour partner; Siam Honesty Travel Services (smart that they do not have a GMB profile, so my review for them will be at the end of this essay. DO NOT BOOK THEM IF YOU'RE ON A STRICT BUDGET, YOUR WALLET WILL THANK YOU.) Room is spacious, but lights are very dim, makes the room feel very dull. The inside of the electric kettle isn't maintained, use at your own risk. Rooms aren't that very soundproof, you can hear loud footsteps and chatter from the hallway. As this building is also a tourist landmark for its views, expect huge tour groups, especially in the morning and evening. They do not have a separate lift for tourists, and hotel guests have to wait quite long to get up to their rooms, at least I did. Rude tourists who demand their way into the lifts, the hotel doesn't have enough staff to man massive human traffic and assist lift traffic. Also, during my stay there, we asked for advice on when to leave for the airport in the morning from the night duty manager, dude had no sense for privacy as he repeated out loud what we asked "one of us will be checking out tomorrow, and the other will be staying" which made us very uncomfortable to know people around here might have heard and we're both ladies. Luckily this happened on the 2nd last night, and I had a friend coming over to stay together or else I would've felt very unsafe to stay another night at this hotel. ---------------------------- Finally, Siam Honesty Travel Services who has a small desk and pull-out banners on the left side of the check-in desk when you turn into the hotel lobby on the 18th floor. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM, ironically they're dishonest, or at least our driver was. Sure everyone has to earn, but I hope the hotel look into ethical presentations and sales of tour packages to their hotel guests from their partner/affiliated vendor. We booked the hotel with trust, not to be sold out more with dishonest travel services. On 19th Aug, we booked Ben's (our driver) car for 21st Aug, for 2500 baht. It was our own negligence we did not ask for the prices but what we were sold upfront, was that he can drive us ANYWHERE while en route to the floating/maeklong railway market. He said "feel free to make a list of where you're interested to go on the way to the attractions, we can stop by". He made it look like he was very interested in knowing where we wanted to go, then the day came and did we hit any places I listed or asked for? NOPE. Ben told us to leave the hotel early to hit all places at 8.30pm. Guess what, we only hit 2 PLACES and he had to drive us back to the hotel by 5pm. We wanted to go to Maeklong Railway Market as the first stop to catch the train. When we were in his car and showed him the list of places, suddenly he said "oh I cannot drive you here and here because the car is fitted with GPS and company will know." - HE WAS MISLEADING FROM THE START WHEN HE SOLD US "THE CAR", now it's his territory to take us to his tour, his places. Unethical. Dishonest. Unreliable. He advised to go to the famous floating market which I wasn't very keen on and despite my rejection, he drove us to the floating market. Please do not make the same mistake as we did, even if you're there and you do not like the prices, ASK HIM TO DRIVE AWAY. 4000 baht isn't worth it for the Floating Market private hire they use. You can easily go direct to the original one and rent a boat there for as cheap as 1hr for 1000 baht (can't exactly remember how much). Before we started, a lady immediately snapped individual photos of us, and printed them out in the end. Do not be afraid to refuse the photoshoot and just wave them off. Never know what they will do with such information. They row you through at least a 1.5 hr route through their "own floating market" first before head

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Baiyoke Sky Hotel Bangkok, Thailand with my family, and we had an incredible experience!
