Akyra Thonglor Bangkok (SHA Plus+)
Sukhumvit,Bangkok - View on map
"In 2016 I stayed at Akyra and was so impressed I booked my parents and brother there several times in December 2017. My family stayed at Akyra off and on as we traveled throughout the region, staying on several different floors and different size rooms. Each and every room was pristine, exceptionally well-equipped (even including dish towels, a drying rack and laundry detergent provided in the suites), and comfortable. Staff were efficient, kind, and amazingly attentive. They found and returned lost and forgotten items, stored luggage safely, and even accepted deliveries for us both during and in-between stays. One local vendor delivered an order of chocolate for my parents to the Akyra while they were traveling elsewhere. Not only did the Akyra team keep the chocolate safe until my parents' return, they kept it all refrigerated! Facilities: The Akyra pool is beautiful, the gym features a wide array of equipment, the breakfast and restaurant offer a great variety of freshly and expertly prepared foods. Location: The convenience of the Eight Thonglor Building cannot be matched elsewhere in Bangkok. It features a 24-hr Foodland supermarket, several coffee shops and restaurants, nail salon, laundry service, etc. Bars and cafes of Thong Lor are steps away. Taxis are available 24/7 and the BTS is a short walk or hotel tuk tuk ride away. Highly, highly recommend!! "

BS Residence Suvarnabhumi (SHA Plus+)

"I booked several nights in BS. On this occasion, I upgraded to BS premier (it ovelooked the pool). Wi-Fi was awful. main hotel much better. Pool was filthy with bottles and glasses lying around the paved area. Pool itself had debris in it. "

Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok (SHA Extra Plus)
Siam,Bangkok - View on map
"Having stayed previously at most of the top hotels in Bangkok we decided to take a chance on the Siam Kempinski. Yes, it is quite expensive being near the top for price in Bangkok but after 4 nights I can assure you it is well worth it. Being only newly opened, everything as one would expect is in pristine condition. But service has been taken to a new level and the ambience and facilities are first class. We ate in the hotels Thai restaurant (sorry, can't remember it's name) and was initially disappointed with menu which was in essence a set menu with some limited options. I could not have been more wrong. It turned out to be one of the best and most innovative restaurant meals we have had anywhere in the world. And to top it all it's central location is also great with one of the best Bangkok shoppings malls only steps away - so no Taxi's!!. In short first class."

Grande Centre Point Hotel Ploenchit (SHA Extra plus)
Siam,Bangkok - View on map
"Picked this hotel out because it is 1/2 block from Central Embassy and it's amazing Food Hall Eathai. Basically used it as a place to recover from jet lag for a weekend before spring boarding to Hong Kong and Phuket. The price was very reasonable, so I wasn't expecting much. This hotel blew me away! Despite being in a great location with access to the Sky Train and Malls, it is a very well apportioned and relaxing refuge from the city. The staff is very accommodating, the buffet breakfast is excellent and the rooms are spacious, modern and beautiful. The one bedroom suites come with a washer/dryer combo which has allowed me to avoid any laundry fees. Had two other Bangkok hotels booked between and after Hong Kong and Phuket. After viewing Bangkok Hotel #2 and being underwhelmed, I cancelled there and booked at the Grande Centre Point for both of the other Bangkok stays. They stowed my extra luggage while I was out of town. This is a hidden gem. Book it!"

The Sukhothai Bangkok (SHA Plus+)
Sathorn,Bangkok - View on map
"I've stayed more then 10 times in Sukhothai. So far it's my favorite hotel in Bangkok. It has great atmosphere, you feel like you are in Thailand. It's not a typical business hotel and that's another reason I really like it. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the food is good. There some of the best restaurants around. And it's extremely good located if you are using taxis. There are very few traffic jams in this area compared to other parts of Bangkok. So it's easy to get to/from the airport. Public transport is not so close though. And another major point - gardens and quietness of the hotel despite its central location. Just great!"

Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 (SHA Plus+)
Sukhumvit,Bangkok - View on map
"I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room is just right in size and the bathroom has all the essentials. The room is clean and cozy. The breakfast is basic and nothing fancy but it has enough variety for a simple breakfast. The laundry room is easy and convenient to use and cheap. The only drawback is that there is no free transport from the hotel to the train (BTS Nana Station) which is quite a long walk. The street the hotel is on (Sukhumvit Soi 11) is a very happening street with clubs, drinking holes and restaurants. There are 2 good Italian restaurants (Pormodoro and Lemoncillo) on this street. For guests who are in Bangkok to visit the Bumrungrad International Hospital (a multiple-specialty medical centre), this hotel is a short walk from it. "

Sinsuvarn Airport Suite (SHA Plus+)
Suvarnabhumi Airport,Bangkok - View on map
"the hotel is a 2-minute walk down a quiet side street. from one side of the hotel, you can actually see the airport control tower and planes parked on the tarmac, but you never hear noise; only a slight distant rumbling if you stay on the airport view side of the hotel, but nothing at all if you stay on the street side. good staff and excellent small restaurant that services only thai food but only has the menu in english. this food starts from 80 baht a plate and the most expensive dishes are ! very cheap and big portions, perfectly cooked. don't miss their red curry which is delicious and spicy. we have stayed here 4 times, usually 1 or 2 nights only, and will stay for 1 month (got a special price) later this year when my girlfriend has to go to bangkok to sit law exams. the most convenient airport hotel and probably the one with the best price-quality ratio."
