great hotel, smaller rooms but all nice and clean”
we are a frequent traveler to bangkok china town for shopping so booked 2 rooms for a 7 day stopover, first time using this hotel, 15 min walk to the china town market once you work out the way to go, a clearer map would be nice, wireless internet is a bit of a rip off with the price's they charge, rooms on the small side but we dont mind this as we only sleep in them, good staff, clean hotel, great breakfast, great meals, very easy underground train access, right at front gate, train right to the front of jj market, most taxi drivers know where hotel is, all in all a good stop over

Great stay and would stay again.”
Location is everything to me and this was located perfectly. Just in front of the main central Train station and the MRT Hua Lamphong station, which is the underground rail. Not a bad transfer from the airport either, about 400 baht. This Hotel has great access to China Town, which has great night Markets and superb food. The staff where very helpful and spoke good English. The room was a good size and was very Clean and decorated to a high standard. The View was perfect and couldn’t stop looking out the window. To look at from the outside you would think oh no, but inside is a very nice Hotel. Breakfast was a great size with plenty to eat. Included ham, sausage, cereals, pancakes etc. No balcony bit of a shame. Not very easy access to the pool but you wont be using it, as the City of Bangkok is amazing.

good value hotel”
Except the first impression of the hotel from the outside (rather rundown looking concrete building)the Bangkok Centre Hotel represents a good value accomodation, well located near the Hua Lamphong train station. From the inside, the lobby area as well as the rooms are nice and spacious. The staff is helpful, but they do not all speak English (even the lobby staff!). The breakfast is very nice and offers a great variety. Dinner, however, is nothing special and moreover overpriced. I recommend going to the nearby small restaurants opposite the train station instead. There is a spa next to the hotel, which is okay but not exceptional. To sum up the Bangkok Centre is a good value accommodation for people who do not want to spend their whole time in the hotel.

Good Value Hotel Close to Main Railway Station”
Comfortable, well appointed rooms. Wide choice of foods for breakfast. Good, friendly service. Early check in and late check out. Good value for money in central Bangkok, ten minutes walk from main railway station (Hua Lamphong) take escalator down under main road towards underground trains; and follow sign to Bangkok Centre Hotel (exit 4). Only downside was extortionate 500Bht charge for 24 hour Wi-Fi Internet access.

Clean hotel at very favorable prices”
We have 3 nights in Bangkok Centre Hotel lived. Breakfast buffet was abundant and already available from 6 am clock. Ideal for people who are early birds or have booked tours. We have changed after the first night's room because at first no more bed was free. Both rooms and bathrooms were very clean. We can only recommend this hotel highly.

Bangkok Centre Hotel Review”
We had read mixed reviews about the Bangkok Centre Hotel but found many to be inaccurate. While the hotel is old and could do with a few touch ups and some of the fittings repaired the overall level of cleanliness was very good. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed when they brought out drinks to the pool for us. The location of the hotel is brilliant for those who fancy a bit of sight seeing or shopping. It is just off the freeway so easy access to Chatuchak Market and it is walking distance to the Golden Buddha. Definitely a hotel I would recommend.

A Warm and Nice Experience”
The staffs are very helpful, when I have problem with my tour agent, they help me to coordinate and solved. As mention the hotel located at strategy location, opposite the Thailand Main Railway station, easy access to train, MRT & Skytrain, just 1 minutes walk away, very convinient for travelling to many locations. Some convinient stores likes 7-11 & family mart around. Near to China Town and Chao Phraya river, by walking can reach the River City mall(cruise dinner) and holy rosary church. A hotel with no regret.

unbeatable location”
the location of the hotel is absolutley ideal for our purposes: right on the edge of China Town & the Hualomphong subway station is literally at the entrance of the hotel, less than 200 meters from the front door. The staff is very friendly and efficient, the rooms clean although the bathrooms could use a makeover. The restaurant is grossly over priced and the food bland and tasteless. The internet service the hotel provides in the lobby is also way overpriced @ 54 baht/15 minutes. The hotel next door has 20 baht/30 mins on brand new large screen computers. All in all the hotel is ideal for our purposes and will surely stay there again

Great location for Railway station and OK rooms”
I chose the Bangkok Centre Hotel because I had a train ride leaving at 2000 hrs. The location is perfect and it is possible to get to Hua Lamphong Railway Station via the underground MRT which has an enterance about 1 minutes walk from the hotel reception. The rooms were adequate for a short stay and I would not hesitate to stay there again the next time I'm using the train. The WiFi was not included and was quite expensive as an add on (250 baht per hour)but otherwise the hotel is perfectly fine. My standard room was clean and about average size for a Thai hotel in Bangkok in this price range.

bangkok Centre”
The Bangkok centre is a well run, clean hotel in the centre of Bangkok. Everything worked in the rooms and the water was hot all day. Breakfast was acceptable if a bit repetitive over a 4 day stay. The pool was clean and even the funny shape was refreshing after a trip sight seeing. The Taxis at the hotel entrance and gate were expensive and you are better off flagging down a metered taxi.

excellent Hotel”
Being directly opposite main railway station and on the local MTR line access to anywhere is easy.....also directly on freeway/highway direct to airport. if using any other form of transport in or out of Bangkok is just the best location. Also close to China Town for eating etc

Near to the Bangkok Train station”
Excellent stay here, the room is comfort, very clean and the staff is very friendly. It is not far from famous china town of Bangkok. However there is no big Mall if someone aim for shopping, however the MRT station is right infront of the hotel, so, you could catch it to go to the town centre.

How to shoot yourself in the foot”
Check-in smoothly handled.Room clean though disappointed with twin-beds ( small bed ) though comfortable. Stayed for two nights and found location close to Hua Lamphong Station / Underground ideal. Ate in the restaurant 'Silk' the first night - very disappointing - not a 4 star experience. First the setting - a cross between a canteen and a bunker. No other diners and I think first impressions would put-off guests. No English spoken by the waitress so no surprise I didn't get what I ordered. Food was adequate. Cost of a small bottle of water ( 55B - 7-10B from outside hotel) was extortionate. The menu - a tablet computer. Great idea ( my mother would be utterly lost) but for me unhygienic-the screen was not clean. Having been in Thailand for two months, I can say that the Bangkok Centre is a good hotel in terms of the basics of a clean room and bed. However, for the price they should include breakfast, look at the obvious rip-off charges for items like water ( a small bottle of water from the mini-bar is £2!) and not shoot themselves in the foot by providing a poor check-out service - it's not a good idea to create a bad impression at anytime but on leaving nothing can be done to rectify it.My stay at the Bangkok Centre was spoiled by their treatment of my luggage. I asked to leave my bag and was told to leave it there, in the foyer, for movement by a member of staff to the left luggage facilities. When I returned 5 hours later - it was still there! It had been stood in full view of the reception desk all afternoon and no-one had thought to move it to a more secure area. Now in my view that's not 4 star service and it's how you leave a guest with a lasting final impression.

Very clean and tidy room and close to the train station that I required ”
Very clean and tidy room and close to the train station that I required, also has a nice restaurant and there are a lot of cafes near the hotel. Also near China town. Lots of places to eat and visit nearby. But I need it for the train station. I was very happy staying there for the night. I will use it again.

Bangkok Centre Hotel”
I chose this hotel for the location, because after two days in Bangkok I was taking a train south. Thia hotel's location is great- right across from the Hua Luampong train station, and on a metro line, thus I could avoid the rip off cab drivers and tuk-tuks. I was pleasantly surprised with the elegance of the hotel lobby when I entered, and the entire hotel itself. The impeccably clean rooms and bathroom, as well as the comfortable matress and clean, soft linens made the stay very pleasant. The perks included a bathtub, which has been rare to find in South East Asia, and a pool. The breakfast is complete, and includes both Asian and Western Style foods, and good, strong coffee. I found the staff to be not only helpful, but polite and obliging as well.

Fabulous hotel”
I always use this hotel when I am in Bangkok. It is situated next to the main train station and a metro station so is very convenient for travelling around the city and for onward travel. The hotel is smoothly operated and the rooms and facilities are of a very good standard. The very good buffet breakfast is well worth having. I would definately recommend this hotel and would stay here when I am in Bangkok next time.

My stay in Bangkok”
We stayed in this hotel because it is near the MRT and the railway station. Since we were booked for Hua Hin and need to travel by train, it was a mere 5 minutes walk to the railway station.Going to the city centre is also a few minutes walk to the MRT station.Tuk2 are always available in front of the hotel. The Reception has been helpful in helping us arrange tours whereby the van comes straight to the hotel to pick us up for our tour to the floating market approximately 2hours away from Bangkok. Overall the short stay in Bangkok and Hua Hin has been memorable and value for money. I would like to stay in Bangkok Centre Hotel if I visit Bangkok again

Best located Hotel to explore Bangkok”
The hotel is well-located and one can reach all major parts of the town either by public transport or by using Tuk Tuks (about five of those are always waiting in front of the hotel). The hotel is very near to China Town, in particular the China Town Heritage Museum and the Wat Trimit can be reached by foot. The hotel breakfast is excellent and one can also have an afternoon tea in the restaurant at the lobby.
