This hotel is located in the heart of Little India, surrounded by Indian restaurants, street food, markets, and shops. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. Rooms are spacious, clean, well-lit, and have comfortable beds. The hotel is conveniently located close to MRT and other transportation options, such as Farrer Park and Rochor stations.
The breakfast buffet has limited options and the same menu is served daily. Unfortunately, some rooms and bathrooms have had problems with cockroaches.

Overall quite OK, room is clean with basic amenities provided. The only down side is the hotel only accept Cash as Security Deposit while returning the deposit is hassle. Quite Troublesome for people like me who doesn't bring much cash. Bell boy is friendly and helped to bring my luggages from the entrance to the lobby. The hotel is located in a private parking lot thus, going in and out of the hotel is troublesome (will have to pay THB40 everytime we go in and out of the hotel). Thus grab driver that are not familiar with the location will charge the fee to me just to pick me up from the hotel. Overall quite OK.

There were lots of small roaches in my otherwise clean room on 5th floor. They would spray upon request. When I brought this to the notice of the manager he said they acknowledge the problem but will not make any type of monetary redress or concessions. Such attitude doesn’t help to provide the management any incentives to improve. I understand demand is high for the rooms. They should also consider opening more than one Dosa stand at breakfast.

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I entered, the experience was ruined by the unfriendly and suspicious attitude of the staff, particularly the security person near the elevator (the one wearing spectacles). It felt as though they treated guests as potential thieves rather than customers. The rooms and beds were extremely old, poorly maintained, and not cleaned properly. I had to call reception twice just to get hot water in the bathroom. The bathroom was not cleaned well. I had a sleepless night due to the noise from the AC. It’s unacceptable for a hotel to neglect basic amenities like this. The multitude of in-house rules made the stay even more restrictive and uncomfortable, and the staff’s attitude only made it worse. The entire atmosphere was unwelcoming and unprofessional. I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was so terrible that I felt compelled to warn others. Think twice before booking. Anyway, the location is great.

I stayed at Bangkok Palace Hotel for 2 nights, and overall, it was a solid experience with a few things to keep in mind depending on your preferences. The hotel is massive, with a grand and spacious feel throughout the property. The swimming pool area is excellent — well-maintained and a great spot to relax after a day out. I didn’t get to try the gym, so can’t comment on that, but it’s nice to know the facility is available. Location-wise, it’s not in the middle of the tourist buzz like Pratunam, but it’s just a 5-minute walk from the Ratchaprarop Airport Rail Link station, which is super convenient for arriving or leaving via Suvarnabhumi Airport. The breakfast was average for me. While there’s a wide selection, it’s heavily tailored to Indian guests, with a strong focus on curries and a dosa station. If you're expecting more classic continental options, it may feel a bit underwhelming. That said, the fruit and vegetable sections were fresh and well-stocked — a definite plus. One thing to be cautious about: behind the hotel is a private road, and if you order a taxi from that entrance, you’ll be asked to pay a small toll fee. There’s no clear signage or warning, so I’d recommend using the main entrance only to avoid surprises. However, the main entrance involves stairs, which can be inconvenient if you’re rolling large suitcases — just something to be aware of. Their dedicated smoking area is excellent — comfortable and nicely set up. However, during my stay, I noticed some guests misusing the area, including approaching others for cigarettes, which might make some travelers uncomfortable. Demographically, during my visit, the hotel had a predominantly Indian crowd (about 90%+ of the guests), with just a few Europeans, Thai, and Chinese guests. This isn't a problem per se, but if you're someone who prefers a more diverse or quiet guest environment, it’s something to note. That said, for long stays, this hotel offers a good balance of space, cleanliness, and convenience — especially if you’re tolerant of a more culturally concentrated environment and not too dependent on western-style breakfast.
