Best hotel ever!”

I have no cons to tell... all good in this hotel we stayed for 5 nights and we had a wonderful time here in BED Chiang Mai Gate. I really appreciate the ppl managing this hotel thy are pleasant and always very helpful. Especially Ms Nurki she has a wonderful character and she has alot to offer for travel tips where to go etc. What i like about this hotel is you feel that you are special because thy talk to you and greet you every morning and breakfast was so good. You can also find good tour company nearby to arrange for your trip to chiang rai, elephant care etc. And every where is walking distance if you dont mind walking. Chiang mai gate is just a short walk. And.night bazaar also about 1.5km walking. There are plenty of nice bakery shop and restaurant around the hotel too. For those who look for place to stay in chiang mai this is the place you wont regret!

Close to everything”

We stayed at BED Phra Singh before and this is our 1st time staying at BED Chiang Mai Gate. We love the black & white tone of this hotel and we enjoyed the staffs hospitality, especially Nurki. Hotel is located a 3 minutes walk to Chiang Mai Gate. Here you can experience the local life style in the morning and try out all sorts of food at nighttime. Also easy access to public transport as well. We enjoyed our stay at BED. Also the free flow of bottled water. Thanks Nurki.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location”

We loved staying at BED Chiangmai gate. It had everything we needed—privacy, a quiet place to crash after long, active days, easy access to the Old City, and friendly, knowledgeable staff folks. I will definitely stay here or any of the BED locations when we come back to Chiang Mai.

The BEST hotel you will ever stay at”

Seriously, the BED hotels in Chiang Mai are simply the best. This is my second stay at a BED Hotel in Chiang Mai. The first one being BED Nimman. I love them both. They have done a great job setting up and furnishing these hotels, they have everything you need/want, and everything works really well. BED hotels are like the Apple products of the hotel industry. The breakfast is super amazing at both BED properties I have stayed at. All home made every morning, by a true chef, who takes real pride in his work. Amazing!spresso, Chilled glass bottled water, Soda, Fruit, and real fruit popsicles available for free anytime you want, 24hrs per day. So, the property, food, amenities, location are all great. BUT, what really makes me say this is the best hotel you will ever stay at is because of the staff. The staff at the BED locations are unbelievable, super nice, smart, great english, welcoming and helpful. Stop looking, book BED now, you will love it.

BED - wouldn't stay anywhere else in Chiang Mai”

Absolutely loved this place. We stayed at the Chiang Mai Gate Hotel just outside the city gates which to be honest was a bit of an oasis from the city. So close to everything including the Saturday night market. We really appreciated the quiet signs that go up in the corridors from 9pm every evening, the beautiful breakfasts, the free water and hot drinks and free soft drink minibar and the wonderfully helpful staff. We found an incredible Veggie Restaurant called Aum not far from the Hotel and a little bar round the corner called Doo Dee which also does wonderful food which we visited every night. Also lots of laundry options nearby. Would so recommend this place.

Great location, friendly staff, great services and clean”

I had stayed for twice in different BED in Chiang Mai during my vacation. BED never disappointed me with their great services and facilities. Their breakfast very very good. Great location for this BED, just came out from alley, there you can see the Chiang Mai Gate . Besides, weekend night market (Saturday night market) also 3mins walk from BED. I will come back again!

Exceptional”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at BED Chiangmai gate! The facilities were all extremely clean and our room had everything we could ever need. Location is close to a large indoor market as well as other restaurants and coffee shops. They have free bottled water and sodas in the fridge for you in the room. Their poor was also really nice, but their breakfast was what really stole the show for us. We will be back!

Clean, Modern, Friendly Staff”

BED Chiang Mai Gate was amazing. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Most staff were young and spoke very good English. Some were travelers themselves. Complimentary breakfast was very tasty with Thai options and western options. Complimentary unlimited bottles of water. Pool was very nice. Rooms were very modern with a spacious shower and rain shower head. Can’t say enough about this place.

VERY Nice hotel!!!”

I stayed at BED Chiangmai gate for 5 days with my parents, and we defintely love this hotel. It has a really wonderful location which is close to the old town. The hotel provides free breakfast and these are yummy food.The most important thing is that the staffs who work here are all very nice and provide amazing suggestions for our tour and they helped us to order the red taxi!! I will come again!

The hotel is well designed and clear. The location is quite good（near the Chiangmai gate). It offers delicate breakfast in the morning and mineral water，coffee，pineapple，watermelon and some other fruits for the whole day！For Free！！ What's more，the employees are very nice！ Oh，one of the receptionist is extremely cute and handsome！I feel like I'm going to fall in love with him😍But my boyfriend is near my side🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyway，it's a nice hotel！You should try it！

What a great value. BED Chiang Mai Gate is located perfectly to so many nice places to eat, the night market, the Sunday street market, bars.... The rooms are large, new, very clean. Great breakfast ...lots of choices. Staff is excellent....super nice, knowledge, and helpful.

Very nice stay”

Very friendly staff. Made me feel as part of a big family. Good location close to Chiang Mai gate. Only cons might be if you are very sensitive to noice. Normally not a problem when people respect the sign about quiet time. Except from that 👍

Small clean gf friendly”

We booked this hotel because it had good reviews, it’s a nice new hotel (ignore if you’re reading this after 2021) and if you like IKEA you will like this hotel, the staff are very friendly, speak good English and can assist with taxis etc. The hotel is situated just outside the old town and a few minutes walk to the local fresh food market with street food yat night was lovely, the Sushi lady was amazing at just over 10p a piece, unbelievable, it’s a brisk walk to the night market or about 100 baht for a tuk tuk, the street food is as good as the street food in the night market but slightly more ‘local’, if you fancy a lovely foot massage the girls in the parlour between the hotel and market were very good, again no frills but quality of massage spot on. For a coeliac the breakfast was very good, obviously as all over Thailand no bread it a nice variety of food. Free bottled water, fruit and a snack jar (seemingly gf as rice) is available all day, coffee machine and hot water for tea and hot chocolate also on hand in reception area 24/7, this is very nice but if you are in your room and fancy a hot drink you need to pop down to reception, maybe we could have asked for a kettle? There was no double room available when we booked the twin, and we asked if we could have one prior to arrival, they had put the two bed together and it created a massive larger than king of king beds! Don’t expect to a nice view but you’ll get a clean fresh room very good for a short stay in the city.

Comfortable stay ”

Good location which is near to Sat night market & Chiang Mai Gate. The room is clean & silent mode on during 21:00-08:00. Good breakfast with various of choices. Would like to stay in again for the next visit.

Second Stay，Feel Good Again.”

This is my 2nd time to stay at this hotel in Chiangmai. I feel good again to stay at here, same good quality and friendly staff. It has been going up and upgraded. But feel a little disappointed about the same old problem: Room clean ladies start their work since early morning around 8:00am and continue their loud talk or shout til 11:00am, I understand it's their working hours but please consider as a hotel customer, we are not have to get up as the same time with room cleaning ladies. Even the other room open and close make a lot noise along with the hotel upgrading construction. If you are a light sleeper like me, better choose a room on high floor. Above all, this is a young hotel very suitable for young people, hotel staff are so international, a girl from the Nederland and a boy from Brasil, Thai staff also speak fluent English and very nice!

Very close to Chiangmai gate and very quiet. The equipment is good and the rooms are very clean. The staffs are great, sweet and take very careful of details! Strongly recommended!

The room very clean,modern,comfortable,and functional. Breakfast greatest,especially the staff very friendly,professional. They advised us where to go and help us contact our next hotel host also to planning our two days trip to Chiang Rai. Others, hotel supply free charge of bicycles to explore the old town.

BED made for an excellent base of operations for our five-day stay in Chiang Mai. The hotel is beautiful, staff great, and the free breakfast and water made a huge difference in our trip.
