“Cave beach resort ”
We chose Cave Staycation to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and overall, it was a memorable experience with a few areas for improvement. The place is impressively clean and the interior design is exceptional, modern, cozy, and thoughtfully done. It’s not a crowded spot, which made our stay peaceful and more intimate. The staff were kind and courteous throughout our visit. There’s an on-site restaurant, which is convenient, and the food was delicious, though we found the prices a bit steep for the portions. One downside was the checkout time of 10:30 AM, considering check-in is at 2 PM, a later checkout (like 11 or 12) would be more accommodating for guests. We booked the place partly because it was listed as beachfront. Unfortunately, there were too many boats docked right in front, making the beach area less ideal for swimming. Thankfully, they have a nice pool inside, which made up for it. For two people, the price felt fair. However, we did request a simple anniversary room setup in advance. The owner initially acknowledged the request, saying she would inform the staff, but we never received any confirmation or update. Upon arrival, we learned the staff weren’t told about it either. It would have been appreciated to at least be informed if the request couldn’t be fulfilled. Despite those hiccups, the stunning views of Dingalan truly made the trip worthwhile. With a few tweaks, this place could be an even better escape for special occasions.
we actually told the staff, we are currenlty overseas , so not sure why it wasnt done, we have a picture that the girls took for us, we always talk with our staff, especilayy with guests requests, we cannot alway follow up as weare located in an extremly remote area in central desert in Australia. we built the pool as we know there are many fishing vessels as it is a fishing village, and we have volcanic rocks, not sand. we are sorry if the staff never furfulled your request, we will be back full time after we have finished the rebuild after major thphoon damages 5 years ago that total destroyed 1/2 the business. we would be happy to do something for you after we return, please send message to us direct on the business email bookings@cavebeachresort.com im happy to do something if you return when we are back.
