Beautiful place to stay with perfect peace of mind”

We went in without knowing much about this hotel but our stay was wonderful. Loved everything about Chaba Cabana. Staff was friendly, room was comfortable, beach was a few seconds away from our room and above all else, CLEAN! Compared to the beaches in the same vicinity, ours was one of the cleanest. Our package included free WiFi which worked great, however if you want to access through multiple devices you would need to request separate internet cards for each device as they do not allow multiple logins. Hotel restaurant is perhaps their only weakness. Food was expensive and tasted godawful which is probably why we never saw anyone eating there. Maybe a couple people once in a while. Overall, our stay at Chaba Cabana was great, comfortable and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good quiet time to relax and enjoy a nice vacation at Koh Samui.

Fantastic stay at Chaba Cabana”

We only stayed for the one night prior to our return trip to Canada. The location of the hotel is great because it is at the far end of one of Koh Samui's most beautiful beaches - Chaweng Beach. The hotel is quite but if you want to party it up a little all you need is to do is go down the beach and hit one of the beach bars located a walking distance back to the hotel. Our breakfast at the Chaba Cabana was great with lots of selections in the buffet. The only "con" I could see was that the room balconies do not have any solid separations so you can see your neighbors on adjacent balconies if you happen to be outside together. This would especially be an issue if your neighbors were smokers and you were not. We thoroughly enjoyed the super clean room and helpful staff and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

A nice, clean and affordable stay at Chaba Cabana”

Our stay at Chaba Cabana was peaceful and pleasant. The staff were really helpful. The check in and check out was quick. The breakfast was a typical western buffet with a variety of tropical juices to wash it down. The hotel is at the end of the busy Chaweng downtown area which has lots of fabulous restaurants, a great cabaret which is not too risque and lots of shopping. We had our own car so we drove to every corner of the island.The pricing of the hotel is highly affordable and the ambience is great!

we really enjoyed our stay at chaba cabana. koh samui was by far our favourite compared to phuket. and chaba cabana had the best breakfast buffet. the location is perfect, they have a great swim in bar and staff are friendly, prices good.

Chaba Cabana Beach Resort is sure to be my choice of stay when i visit Samui next.. just about everything about this place is is wonderful.. staff, proximity to the beach, amenities, services.. wish i had stayed longer.. 5 STARS from me!!

Quaint, quiet, at north end of Chaweng beach”

Relaxing atmosphere. At the north end of Chaweng Beach Nice pool right next to the beach. We enjoyed spending our evenings in the restaurant (great food) or bar looking out over the water and down the beach. We loved the Thai massages ($/hour!)at the open air massage parlor by the pool. We stayed in the cabanas along a peaceful walkway close to the pool. The room was a bit "tired", but clean and comfortable -except for the plugged shower drain. Free wi-fi that worked! We enjoyed our stay at the Chaba Cabana.

Beautiful surroundings - very lovely and quiet.”

We really liked our stay at Chaba Cabana. At first we were a bit worried it might be too far out of the centre of Chaweng but whilst staying there liked it was a bit out of the noisy areas. It was a lovely walk along the beach to the centre of Chaweng and really was a nice, clean room to stay in. We would stay there again.

Best beach location in chaweng ”

This hotel made my holiday in koh samui, the location was amazing, the beach around the hotel was amazing and the views were stunning, the hotel is nice and very clean with great staff and great food. The walk into town is 5 -10 mins along the beach and enjoyable. My room was comfortable and ok for me but lived on the beach area so no fuss. Breakfast was not bad and not good. The bar area was great and staff were excellent special mention to Jarinya and Rung for looking after me so well thanks. The restaurant food was lovely and excellent quality believe me. just pizza was not the best. reception staff lacked some personality I felt not rude not friendly. Overall this place rocks for families and couples and single ppl alike. If I had 1 thing I did not like was lack of entertainment in bar area In the evening

Relaxing and enjoyable holiday”

Chaba Cabana is right on the beach and close to the Chaweng shopping district. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is very comfortable and is in a tropical garden setting. There is a free shuttle to the shops twice a day.

very peaceful and quiet hotel”

We had a great stay at Chaba Cabana. We usually stay at Chaba Resort but we thought we would give their sister hotel a try out. Its more modern than Chaba and on the quiet end of Chaweng beach. A bit far to the main strip although only 200 baht in taxi/tuktuk, overall a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Our stay at the Chaba Cabana Beach resort was so good we extended our stay 2 more times....You never really need to leave via taxis once you arrive as it is all a beach walk away.

Clean, safe beach suitable for small children”

This is a great resort with warm, friendly, helpful staff. II have stayed there twice and would do so again. It is located towards the edge of Chaweng away from the hustle but is not too far away to be inaccessible. A short ride on a local taxi will take you into the centre. The resort is down a slope from the main road so access may be difficult for mobility impaired persons. Some accomodation is on a second or third floor level with no lifts. There are two pools each with a children's pool. The main pools are 1.6 metre deep throughout so may not be suitable for larger kids with limited swimming ability. The beach is sandy with little coral and is very gently sloping and is shallow for a long way out, so safe for children of all ages but not so good for adult swimming. The beach is cleaned everyday by the hotel staff. Some resorts have a lot of coral on their beaches. The beach is not overcrowded and only has a few polite folks selling their wears, so you are not constantly being bothered. The accomodation is good with aircon and ceiling fan both of which are effective. The shower room and toilet area is clean and good. There is a good gym, dining area and lounge area. Sunbeds are available at the poolsides and at the beach. The decor is quite unusual and attractive, great for families. There is a children's play area. All in all a great resort for families and couples.

Good Hotell with beautifull beach”

The hotell is placed at the end of Chaweng beach. You have to walk little bit to the main area to shop. But can take taxi from main road for 50 bath pr person. The hotell is beautifull and clean and offer a quiet stay away from the manny bars in the centrum of chaweng beach. Dining down at the beach is stunning but the prices at the hotell are quite expensive. But you can walk up to the main road and you will find at least 5 restaurants with far better prices. The beach in front of the Hotell can be very shallow and the beach will disapear when high tide.

Quiet end of Chaweng beach, peaceful and relaxing”

We usually stay at Chaba resort so we thought we would try Chaba Cabana for a few nights for something different. The hotel is newer than it's sister hotel and is at the quiet end of Chaweng beach. Nonetheless we had a great stay at this peaceful and relaxing hotel. The staff are attentive and the bar and breakfast area have a great view to the beach.

the location of that resort is not perfect if you want to be in the noisy attraction area. morning time the beach is yours.... we had 2 wonderfull days in chaba cabana and will definitely recommend that address.

we got a great deal on this hotel through agoda and the hotel is great, although i don't think i would have paid full price for it as the rooms are a little outdated...i wouldn't recommend this for special occasions, but great for families and couples. location was fantastic for us...quiet part of the beach, pool is lovely, staff nice, had no problems...i will upload photos for everyone to see also. hotel restaurant was fantastic...great food and cooked fresh. breakfast buffet was lovely. rooms clean but don't expect anything special

resort right on the beach”

nice resort right on the beach. it is a little out from the hustle and bustle of chaweng beach, so really depends on what you are after, seems to be a bit more for a quiter traveller which suited us. The resort offers a free shuttle to their sister resort in Chaweng which was good, otherwise start to walk and jump in one of the open taxi's - they are good value and you buzz the driver to stop when you want to get off.

Perfect for families, worth the money”

3rd time I've stayed here, and I will stay again, as it pleases me every time. It's perfect for what we need, especially with having an energetic 2 year old. The hotel looks out onto the beach, and it's the nicest part of this beach....however, this time of year the tide is always in which means the beach is quite small now...the other times I've been in may and August and the beach is unbelievable!!! Can walk out really far and the sand is wonderfully white with lots of little crabs to find.....my advice go to this hotel around that time to make the most out of the beach. Hotel is great for the price...lovely pool and kids pool, staff nice, breakfast nice. The restaurant also has a good selection of foods. Best part is in the evening when you can walk out along the beach and eat at the restaurants along and on the beach. Very relaxed and family orientated holiday. Loved every minute and will return again.

Getaway”

Wonderfull stay at Chaba we ended up extending for an extra 4 days :). Close to the centre of Chewang but at the same time just out enough to have its own quiet beach and relaxing atmosphere staff very friendly and hotel cleanliness was great. Also great pool to relax by.
