Value for money, near night market”

It is not a bad choice if you're looking for an accommodation where near night market and minivan station. The room condition a bit "Old" but overall is clean and standard. I'm really appreciate for the fast reply from Chaba Chalet when I'm request for the arrangement of day tour 3 weeks before i reach Hua Hin.

Extended Stay”

See my previous review. When our first booking expired, we looked around Hua Hin for a different hotel but couldn't find one of the same standard that had such a good location and for the same price. So, we were happy to extend our stay at Chaba. The only drawback was that the limited breakfast choices became boring, so we used some of the local places.

Get place for the price”

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The price was exceptionally cheap and yet the air, internet, and staff performance were all great. This is one of the best 'budget' hotels that we've found in Hua Hin, but also in most of Thailand. The furniture and decor is a bit dated and beat up, but it doesn't detract from the stay at all. Great value for money at this hotel.

Good, decent hotel”

Chaba chalet is near the middle of the city, a sangthaw ride from the far distance bus station, a short walk to the bar area. Its a clean hotel with very nice rooms, nice shower etc. Good breakfast of eggs, toast, coffee. Just outside is a shopping street with restaurants and a 7/11. It's quite cheap and it's ideal for travellers on a modest budget. You can find hotels right in the middle of the bar area but Chaba is not too far away, 7 minute walk it's also very close to the railway station

Traveling accomodation”

I am a teacher from South Africa and every now and then I have the need to stay somewhere in Hua Hin where I can easily navigate from. Chaba chalet is that place and staying there fed my every need.

Great hotel on great location”

+ good location near train station, markets, quite room, comfortable, fast internet, cheap small restaurant on ground floor. For some reason Agoda was way cheaper than booking on reception Agoda 560 without breakfast, 670 with breakfast On reception 900 baht - no elevator (lift) so if you're fat or just lazy could be problem for you. Also Hua Hin norhing special. Mostly retirement people and not so nice beach.

Return Visit”

See my previous review. We went to Ban Krut for a couple of nights (highly recommended) and returned to Hua Hin for our final week in Thailand. We were happy with Chaba, so decided to stay here yet again. No regrets - this place is nothing fancy, but comfortable, very well located and very good value for money.

Comfortable, good location, cheap”

The hotel is not bad overall. It is located at a perfect location, just need around 5 mins walking can reach Hua Hin night market. The room we stay was the corner room, which have a large window can view outside scene. The lobby there provided a snooker table as entertainment. The only imperfection was the shower water level is too low, unable to take a comfortable bath during hot day.

Good location”

It's such a good location here Can walk to night market, beach, railway station etc. the room was ok just ok.. because it's a little bit old but it's really clean By the way the breakfast was nice My room was include the breakfast I tried pad krapow, rice soup and ABF also Really value for money If I ever come back to hua hin I will stay here again!

Good hotel to stay”

The receptionist is quite nice and keep smiling to travellers. The room is clean, just the light not enough bright. It's location is strategic, not far from Hua Hin night market. It is a budget hotel which do included breakfast, although the breakfast just small portion.

Good choice”

Stayed five nights in room type Superior and it was very nice. The hotel has a friendly, family atmosphere and is very well situated, right in the middle of Hua Hin, only 100 metres to the Night Market Street, surrounded by many local restaurants, bars and other facilities. The room had all the necessary amenities and the breakfast included in the price was tasty. All in all good value for money.

Near”

Travel from Malaysia to here via train. Arrive Hua Hin around 8am and I only need 10 minutes of walk to arrive this hotel. Very easy to be found. Due to my check in is not peak season, so the hotel allow me to be check in early. So great to have a bath and rest before going to exploring Hua Hin. Another nearest spots to this hotel is Chatsila night market and the clock tower. My room is facing to sun during sun set, so the room is quite hot during evening. Although the room have air conditioning, but need around 30 minutes to cold down the temperature (Hotel need to aware of this). Simple breakfast provided in my hotel package.

City Centre Budget Hotel”

Centre of town basic hotel, good size older style room, but with good air conditioning, refrigerator, bathroom with shower only, beware no elevator and no help to carry luggage if required. Ground floor was a basic bar where breakfast is served. Good street view to watch the world go bye. Breakfast at the Chaba Chalet is basic with instant coffee, better choices available in cafes adjoining with expresso coffee machines available. A number of cafes/restaurants nearby have music a few times a week. .. Close to the train station, very close to the night markets and a large supermarket is across the street. The direct bus from main BKK airport has a connecting shuttle bus which drop us off right at the door. The walk to the beach is 15 to 20 minutes however via busy street crossings.

Good stay”

Wi-fi fast, room clean,breakfast simple but good taste. 3 floors no lift , Ground floor will open on Nov 2016. Very near Hua Hin Train Station just walk 5 minutes. Night market near by with 6 minutes walk ,too. Few seafood stalls and many food stalls are in the night market. If you want to take Van to Bangkok-Victory Monument, you can buy ticket from travel agent near by just 2-3 minutes walk. No need go to the Van Station

Location central in Hua Hin, staff we’re excellent couldn’t do enough for you , love just sitting at front of restaurant watching the world go by relaxing, excellent massage shop opposite

the staffs at the counter during the day time is just priceless to the hotel. (Too bad I lost the name of the girl - I mean the long hair girl) She help and patiently explain and listen to all my queries.With her help I was able to move around in Hua Hin without problem. Thank you girl . I will definatel stay in this hotel again during my next trip to Hua Hin.

Choice for low cost hotel in Hua Hin”

hotel is near the train station. l can walk to this hotel from train station. this hotel near the night market. l can walk to night market. breakfast is ok ( not is buffet ). can walk to many place : tourist center , hua hin temple , beach , market , bus station room is not perfect clean but ok for me with low price hotel in huahin wi - fi inter is very fast if you have laptop. hotel have only one computer for service.

The hotel located in Hua-Hin city have parking and can walk to night market and shopping center. Economy for backpack traveller have breakfast, internet and nice staff.

A Nice Stay in Hua Hin”

I enjoyed my stay here. Not an exciting hotel, a bit dated, no embellishments but clean and functional. The rooms are large with all amenities – TV , A/C / fridge / wi-fi (not stable in room) water provided daily. Toiletries are dispenser style. The washrooms are large. There is a large open air lobby, common area, with a sofas, chair, bar, computer. Breakfast, hot made to order, was included and served in the breakfast room on the main floor. There is no elevator so you have to climb steps to the 4th floor. Hua Hin is a bit of a sprawling town but this hotel is close to the main streets for shopping etc. All 5 minutes away - the mini-van station to Bangkok, Night Market (be sure to try Hoi Tod – fried pancake with mussels) and Day Market. The beach is a 10 minute stroll along a nice street with shops. There is a public toilet at the entrance to the beach . You can rent a beach chair for 100 baht for the day, and they will pamper you if you buy their food and drinks – a wonderful way to spend a day (80 baht for beer, 150 for a papaya salad) There is a Green Bus (10 baht) that passes in front of the hotel that can take you to Takiab Village, Monkey Mountain – go early – it gets HOT. There are a lot of Temples here.
