Well Worth the Money”
When I first arrived at the lobby, I was shocked and my partner was depressed by the noise of the club on the ground floor. But the receptionist allowed us to check in at 9:00 am, three hours before shcedulled time. So I told my partner that let us stay and try, because we have been really tired after a night long flight. Then it turned out to be a surprise. The room was clean, and I didn't hear anymore noise from the club, which I thought maybe was because I was on the top floor. However, in the whole area of Padong, you can not get any QUIET room, this is not the fault of the hotel, and this is what we go to Padong for. So I strongly recommend this hotel to any travller on a budget but don't want to stay at a backpacker's dorm. By the way, the young lady selling fruits opposite the hotel was really sweet.

good location. good price”
Expectations should be according to price and location. Chang club is a hotel for easy access to nightlife and shopping center and freshmarket. Rooms vary in their condition. Overall standard is simple. Waterpressure in the shower is too low. More generous allocation of soap bars during longer stays would be welcome.

Noisy”
My room was so noisy, I couldn't sleep properly. I changed room twice but didn't help. I should have been warned of constructions work around the hotel. Receptionists were so helpful though.

Excellent value”
•good location in patong beach. 2 minute walk to bangala road and 10 minutes to the beach. • big, clean rooms. •very friendly staff. • We got a value deal through Agoda which meant it was only £10 per night for a double room. (Unbelievable value) However, looking at it again and they are charging £90 per night sometimes. Not worth that money.

Clean but noisy”
This is a no-frills hotel - nothing more than a place to shower and sleep. Unfortunately, sleeping is near to impossible due to the pool hall on the bottom floor. The music is loud and doesn't stop until - no joke - 7:30 or 8 in the morning, so if you're a light sleeper, you'll want to avoid this place. Other than the noise, the only problem I had was the complete lack of security. As stated, there's a pool club downstairs, and the stairs to the rooms go right out of the bar. There's nothing to stop just anyone from walking up there and there are no deadbolts on the doors, just a cheap lock on a cheap door that anyone with the strength of a five-year-old could kick down if they wanted.

One of the major attraction for this hotel is pool games. The are about 30 pool tables at first floor with beers available as well followed with light music. Located at a strategic location for food, thai boxing stadium , market & etc.

Liked the fact that with all the lights on the room was very well lit Good hot shower. Good chair with flat area for writing or eating Good air condition nice bed with quilt cover Extremely nice reception staff room was very clean. Only down was small old TV to far from the bed for good viewing. You get the impression that this place is well run With good management.

Pros Location is good. Room is big. Clean. Cons A big noisy due to pub just beside the hotel. No lift in the hotel. have to climb to level 4. Unable to access to Wi-fi although it stated the line is good and stable.

Very central convenient location. Budget hotel with great value for your money. Bed very comfy, room big for this level, some rooms have a little balcony as well. Staff kind and helpful. It's upstairs a pool bar open til morning, no much of a hotel feeling.

Cool Hotel with huge pool hall down below”
I only stayed here for one night and I enjoyed my stay. There are no elevators since this is a older building but I stayed on the 2nd floor so the walk wasn't bad at all. There is a giant pool hall down below that can get a little noisy for some at night but I had no problem sleeping at all. The women at the front desk was really kind and friendly and I forgot my cellphone in my room after I checked out and when I came back to get my bags an hour later she had it wrapped up in a bag waiting for me.

Need minor Wifi facilities improvement.”
- Hotel was actually affordable for those budget travelers. - Staff there was friendly & courteous toward guests (although some of the staff didn't speak English, they'll still try their best to assist us). - Hotel location was actually close to main attractions (Bangla Road, Banzaan Market, Boxing Stadium & etc). - However, they might need to do some minor improvement with their guestroom's wifi coverage since I'm having problem connecting with wifi in my bedroom. The wifi coverage at public area on the other hand was fine.

Cheap and simple ”
We only had one night in the cheapest room available, the room smelled bad but was clean. Poor WiFi. Wonderful woman in the reception. There is no elevator so if you're living at fifth floor it's 70 steps to walk up :)

Average due to poor experience with satellite TV channels being out and Wi-Fi connectivity being also out for a while before reinstated. Otherwise the room deserves a better than average rating for that price category

One issue...”
The problem would be for senior citizens, such as myself. No elevator, and more than 50 steps up to my room. After 5 days of scuba diving, I wanted to rest and relax. Leaving my room was not an issue. Returning was a real problem up those stairs. In addition, the air con seemed a bit weak, but that might just be me.
