The accommodation is good, clean, and reasonably priced. There is drinking water and coffee available. It is located right at the descent of Sam Muk mountain. There is a Chinese restaurant in front. The staff is very polite. At first, I saw reviews saying that the old man spoke rudely, but when I checked in with him, everything was normal, and there was nothing to worry about. He even recommended that we hurry to play at the beach because it gets dark and rains every evening. His suggestion was good. I think if we understand and follow the rules correctly, there shouldn't be too many problems. If I have the chance to go again, I will stay here again.
The accommodation is as described, with affordable prices. During check-in, a room deposit of 500 baht is required, which will be refunded at checkout (keep the receipt safe because if you check out before the front desk opens, you will need to show this receipt to the housekeeper to get your money back). We stayed in the downstairs room which has two large wardrobes and two trash bins. The amenities provided are as stated, with one towel per person. The bathroom supplies include one roll of toilet paper, a small bottle of soap and shampoo, a toothbrush set, a shower cap, and cotton buds. The bathroom is spacious with strong water flow, and the shower has hot water. The air conditioning works well, and there is a ceiling fan. There are multiple power outlets in the room. The curtains are white but thick enough that people outside cannot see into the room, although the room may not be very soundproof, so it's advisable to keep noise levels down. Overall, it is good and reasonably priced. Additional recommendations: the accommodation is on a hill, close to Khao Sam Muk, but not directly on the beach and not within walking distance; a private vehicle is necessary for convenient travel, so do not attempt to walk. Areas for improvement include: - Changing the clock batteries in the room, as it is always stuck at 2 PM when you return. - I would like to see more lighting in the room; there are only two light points, one in the middle of the room and one in front of the wardrobe, which are not bright enough, making it hard to see clearly in the room.
I had read reviews from previous guests that mentioned the owner of the accommodation was fierce, but I didn't expect to encounter the real thing. I drove from Chiang Mai to Bang Saen, and upon arriving at the accommodation I booked through Agoda, I met the owner, who had a frowning face and spoke in an aggressive manner. It was so intense that I felt overwhelmed and didn't know what to do; my face went blank, and my mind felt tight as I tried to control my emotions. It seemed like the owner was upset and had just had an argument with someone. He made me insert my ID card upon check-in, and when I inserted it incorrectly, he scolded me. The parking area was on the upper level with a steep slope leading down about 100 meters because they didn't allow parking below; the space in front of the room was reserved only for guests on the first floor. After completing check-in, I had to pay a 500 baht deposit for the room key. I then walked back to bring the luggage and bags down, but again was scolded for what I was doing (he spoke harshly). Was I supposed to carry multiple bags down from the slope above to the second floor? I thought to myself what I had gotten into after driving for more than 10 hours, hoping to relax and enjoy myself. Next time, if I go again, I will find accommodation near Laem Thian beach instead, as there are plenty of places along the shore. Crossing the street, you can get to the beach easily, and the prices are not much different. When I checked out, I had my wife handle returning the keys and getting the deposit back; I didn't step foot in the front area again and didn’t drive down. I let my wife and everyone else carry all the various luggage. I simply walked up to the parking area above. However, the maid was pleasant and friendly.
The room is clean, with clean bedding, towels, and a tidy space. Soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and shower caps are provided. There is hot water, air conditioning, and a functioning TV. The bathroom drainage has no smell (impressive). The parking area is spacious, and staying on the first floor allows parking in front of the room, making it suitable for relaxation and those who enjoy peace. There is a 500 baht deposit for the room key upon check-in, which will be returned when we check out. It's recommended to prepare cash. There is 24-hour security. The room and furniture look new. Overall, it’s okay. I stayed on the night of September 2, 2023.

We went to stay during the Bangsean Grand Prix. Initially, the plan was to drop off our car at the accommodation before checking in and then walk around to see the race while waiting to check in. So, I decided to call the owner of the accommodation using the number in the app. When I first asked about parking the car, he sounded a bit grumpy. However, once he realized that we were customers who had made a reservation, he spoke very kindly and gave good recommendations. The owner may not be very articulate, but he is actually a very kind person. Speaking of the room, it is located right by the road, and the parking area is in front of the hotel. At check-in, there is a 500 baht key deposit. You will receive a key and a receipt-like slip, but you must keep it safe as you will need it during check-out to get your deposit back. The accommodation has a nice atmosphere, but there is no elevator. Inside the room, it is very clean, and there is a water heater provided. The bathroom is also very clean, and there is a kettle and a refrigerator with two bottles of water. At check-out, you can do so starting from 6 AM, and it only takes about 5 minutes to complete. The price is very cheap too. I will come back again next time. 🙏🏻
