On the beach relaxing close to nightlife if wanted”

Arrived late at night to the Chaweng garden resort from bangkok only a short tuck tuck ride away 10-15mins max. When we first pulled up outside the hotel the entrance down a beach like path was off the main road in the Chaweng area and we thought oh dear what have booked into but to our surprise and good one at that it led to a wonderful hotel with a combination of garden bungalows and garden view rooms we had the latter. Friendly concierge staff and bell boys very attentive always smiling and happy to help. We got into our room to find a spacious deluxe room with huge bed and lovely fresh smelling line sheets large shower and bathroom with all the amenities you need. Beach towels fresh everyday and re stocked fridge of bottled water was great. The breakfast was great a mixture of both traditional Thai and continental breakfast served from 6:30-10:30 was nice and fresh, and the beach which was fantastic and warm crystal waters was great. You could eat well at the hotel and on the beach also reasonably priced and very tasty. From the hotel you could either walk out onto the street and go to the bars and restaurants or onto the beach and walk along to a lively beach bar called ARK bar, which served food until 11pm and drinks til 1am laid on loungers with cushions and tables really nice way to end the evening if you didn't want all the hustle and bustle of the main bars and clubs. Great hotel and would stay here again. Very much recommend this hotel to someone else.y

Amazing location, best of both worlds.”

Our stay was perfect- the chaweng garden resort is located centrally (arguably the best location for travellers who would like both the opportunity to be nestled in privacy and in the midst of the hustle) On one end of the hotel is the beach, and the other end opens out immediately into the night market bazaars and clubbing/bar district. The room that we stayed in was even nicer than represented in the photos online (which is rare!), and was well maintained. Room service was wonderful and thorough, and whenever we ordered any food it arrived in 15 minutes, all the time. The resort has enough areas to accommodate both families and couples, and is also situated next door to the Ark Bar- an option for the more party-oriented folk. Basically, the resort is really a lovely haven which is strategically located in a way that you can also get the most out of the busier life in chaweng. Strongly, strongly recommend staying here. + Do bring some mosquito repellent / coils though, that was our only problem. But was easily managed.

Chaweng Gardens Beach Resort”

Chaweng Gardens is a great location right in the centre of Samui main shopping at your door step but you go to the back of resort and you have the quite life of the beach and dining. We had all night meals at the resorts beach front. Great for all ages the young that want the night life or oldies the quite life. Beach is great for swimming and there is a nice clean swimming pool. Staff very friendly. We did book a garden villa but when we looked at it decided to downgrade to superior room which we had stayed in the year before as bigger and more room to but your gear villa had no wardrobe or drawers. This is our third stay and we will be back there next time we go to Samui.

Chaweng Garden Beach Resort”

Overall, Chaweng Garden Beach Resort is a lovely hotel smack right in the middle of Chaweng, which is the most lively place in Koh Samui. Most of the staffs in this hotel are polite, and they will greet you warmly everytime they see you. The hotel is priced average and is also value for the money. We booked a Garden Bungalow (Villa) and the room was way better than what we expected. We had an entire villa of our own, set in a lush garden with beautiful flowers (especially orchids) surrounding the villa. It is also kept trimmed neatly and our villa was always cleaned well (despite us bringing much sand to the villa). We like how the housekeeping staffs fold the towels into different types of animals and place them on our bed every morning, presenting different types each day. It gives us a feeling of 'surprise' every time we return from our full day activity. The strategic location allows us to book our daily tours (right at the beach) and myself, who thoroughly enjoyed having massages, daily, at the beach. Truly memorable stay in Koh Samui, thanks to Chaweng Garden Beach Resort.

Best Place I Stayed in Thailand”

We stayed in Koh Samui for 6 nights, and 2 of those were at the Chaweng Garden Beach Resort and they were by far the best 2 nights we had on Koh Samui, and in Thailand for that matter. We also stayed in Bo Hput for 4 nights as well, but I can tell you that Chaweng Garden Beach Resort was nice, quiet and close to everything. You want my advice? Stay here and take day trips to Bo Phut if you want something a little more quiet. Chaweng has all the amenities, so you're close to everything plus the beach is really nice. Bo Phut can be a bit boring sometimes, but the night market on Friday is excellent. Rent a scooter, put around the island and enjoy your stay!

Great hotel”

Chaweng Garden Beach Resort was great, it's in a perfect location, close to the buzz without being too close that you can't get away from it! It's beach front setting is gorgeous and the staff are so friendly and helpfull. It was my partners birthday whilst we were there and i organised prosecco and a fruit platter delivered to the room which they dealt with very discretely lol! They also then left a present in our room with a card - which was a lovely touch! Overall, great, clean, spacious accomoodation in a great location with fab breakfasts and friednly staff!

Excellent staff and location - really enjoyed stay”

The rooms are absolutely adequate for holidaymakers who are looking to make the most of their time in Koh Samui - comfortable bed, good sized, clean rooms (if a little dark) and well serviced. All you can eat breakfast is terrific - cereals, cold cuts, breads and fruit plus extensive European and Asian hot buffet provide a great start to the day. The location is as good as any on the Chaweng strip - 100 metres to the beach, where sun beds are provided by the hotel and of course a pool if you don't wish to venture out of the grounds. If shopping is your thing then the main street is 20 metres from the lobby and the hotel is about half way along the main shopping road. The TOPS supermarket is just three minutes walk away and carries all necessities at a fair price.

Location - in the heart of Chaweng, the busiest street of Koh Samui Staffs - helpful and accomodating Foods(breakfast) - good, adequate variety of foods, but the light in restaurant is too dim, making the environment abit gloomy, but thanks to its 'in front of the beach' location. Quality of sleep - good, 8am-6pm, there ll b some loud noise from the flight path. Pool - nice for both children and adults. Beds - a bit hard but acceptable Beach - just 1min walk from resort, not the best, but ok Thanks hotel for our room upgrade. Appreciate it. What i don't like is hotel requested to keep our passports (requested 3passports/3rooms). Hotel should reconsider this method as passport for foreigner is our ID n should b kept by each individual person for security and identification if asked. Hotel should only keep the copy of it, or if hotel want to keep them as room deposit/gurantee, hotel can opt for money deposit instead. Keeping original passport is way too much,what if it is accidentally lost? who ll b responsible? overall, nice resort with strategic location and adequate facilities, plus helpful staffs. tq

Fantastic hotel with amazing staff”

Absolutely loved Chaweng Garden Beach Resort. The buffet brekky choice was extensive. Rooms were well serviced and clean. We loved the sand paths, gave you the real holiday feeling as soon as you left the room. Service at the beach was also good. Would definately return. The only minus for us was the absence of non smoking areas.

While not the cheapest hotel around, it is definitely one of the best! We discovered this hotel on our second trip to samui and have returned there 3 times since! Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Samui! The hotel is located smack bang in the middle of everything yet is large enough so that the rooms are tucked away far enough from the late night activities not to be heard from the street! Beautiful gardens, amazing and friendly staff, awesome pool overlooking the beach and the best strip of sandy beach on the whole of samui island (and yes we have driven in search of other beaches but nothing came close). We love this hotel and will definitely be back!

we had an amazing stay here indeed! it was my 13th time in samui and trust me, i know a bit about its accommodation and dining! and i can say that in this island it's either excellent and pricy (le meridien), or cheap and average... this hotel is located right at the best part of sandy chaweng beach close to all of my favorite places such as ark bar, the coffee club, kao san restaurant, tops supermarket, solo bar, etc. i traveled with my mom who normally is not into parties and loud music, however she loved the hotel, especially concerning the fact that our standard room was generously upgraded to the superior one for us, which had everything you need, was neat and very close to the beach and beautiful pool. unlike standard though, which was near the road. breakfast was quite impressive for a 3,5* hotel as well as the service! i'd definitely recommend this hotel to my friend and will use it for my next stay!

Chaweng garden was a beautiful place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were extremely comfortable. The shower was also amazing. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to koh samui!

This hotel was our favorite and we stayed in a ton of hotels in thailand! The food was great and the drinks as well this area isnt cheap but this hotel wasnt too exspensive either your paying for the location so dont exspect cheap food and drinks the price for the hotel wasnt bad though compared to the high priced places we stayed chaweng garden was th e nicest!!!! I recoment the superior triple room its some what like your oun little bungalow I really enjoyed this hotel:)Oh and the loby had a wonderful place for you to sit and use your computor with free wifi that was nice too not to mention the grounds are beautiful! Also thai massage here was amazimg

amazing location, amazing room”

this resort is simply amazing especially considering the price we paid as well, we stayed in a superior room which on the high floor which was wonderful, the room was so clean and modern, having a big balcony was like the topping on the cake. if your young like myself its in a perfect location as literally on the other side of the road is where the main clubs and pubs are. everything you need is just a walk away so you dont really need to hire a motorbike unless you want to go for a long ride. i'll be definitely coming back to this resort when i come back to koh samui

This was my second stay at this resort. The first time I stayed in a Garden Bungalow and this time I stayed in a Shino room. Both are very good, modern and spacious. However the bed in the Shino room was just two singles pushed together so it was a bit uncomfortable whereas the Bungalow was a proper queen/king bed. I also had a look at the superior rooms and they seemed ok, just not as modern as the Shino’s or Bungalows. The resort is on the beach right in the main part of Chaweng Beach. It escapees the noise of the surrounding clubs/bars mostly but you can hear the slight sound of base from time to time. It has a nice pool and a very nice beach setting. Their food is good and their banana or mango smoothies are great.

This hotel was recommended by a friend for its price and location and it delivered on both!! It is in the best location on chaweng beach right in the middle of everything......bars, restaurants, entertainment and Lots of transport options right at ur feet! But at the same time you also feel like your in a quiet secluded area when you enter the hotel grounds as the rooms are set back from the main road and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The buffet breakfast and eggs to order was an amazing start to each day! Will definitely recommend for short or long stays for anyone! I will be staying there again!

Very pleasant, and wonderful stay in Chaweng Garden Beach Resort. Especially, it just right to beaches. lot of water sports, nice swimming pool and friendly staff. There are lot of fishes come near to beach...feeding them with some small bread. they love it. My kids enjoy it very much!
