Where to stay in Chiang Mai Airport
Chiang Mai Airport hotels & accommodations

I love this hotel. Three of us stayed at this hotel the night before our trek in Chiang Mai. We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and got good reviews. When we checked in, there was some miscommunication and one of our friends didn't book a room. Even though the hotel was quite full, the super friendly staff quickly found a room for him, and with...

This hotel is absolutely exceptional. We stayed in the duplex 1 bedroom suite, it was only slightly more expensive than a standard room but the extra money was definitely worth it. The duplex was just beautiful and great value for money, we couldn’t believe we got such a good deal for such a spectacular suite, we loved the view and slept very comfortably. There were e...

My wife and I had a great stay at the Chaya before heading over to Chiang Rai. Very impressed with facilities, large room and good upkeep of the place. I understand the resort is only a couple of years old, which I guess helps it maintain its shine. Will recommend to visiting friends and would come again.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night. Throughout our stay the staff was very helpful. Especially by giving suggestions, advice and recommendations for tours and sights, in and around Chiang Mai. The hotel is nice and clean with large rooms, a nice pool and best breakfast buffet. The hotel also providing free fruit and coffee in the rooms.

I enjoyed so much my stay at the airport greenery hotel. Besides the location, nearby the Chiang Mai international airport, the hotel is not far from Central airport plaza Chiang Mai, it's only within walking distance. Especially because I'm traveling with my family, this is of course really an advantage. Also this hotel is not far from the downtown if we want to there...

The staff was great, the value was great, my kids loved the pool. The location was fine, but is very dependent on what you want to do while you're in Chiang Mai. There weren't any restaurants within walking distance. My main issue was with the breakfast. A lot of the customers seem to be from Chinese tours (at least half), but the entire breakfast was Chinese oriented....

This hostel was so good and the people and staff are so nice I decided to cancel my flight to chiang mai and rented a bungalow for 5 nights which I'm glad I done so if anybody ever gonna book somewhere on ko Phangan definitely pick here because you won't regret it everything is kept clean an the bar has nice food for cheap prices so I'd highly recommend shiralea..

The day we arrived was evening, after checking in the boss drove us to the main area for dinner. Breakfast was served neatly on the dining table every morning, which there are quite a few variety to choose from. The hotel is located near Chiang Mai Airport and it takes only 5 mins to walk to the centre plaza. The pool is pretty clean, it's always great to chill out by ...

The rooms at the XYM are beautiful but the service was not so great. It's near the airport so we stayed here for our final night in Chiang Mai. The room was large, clean and well designed. The bed was really comfortable and the aircon works great. There's also a pool on the rooftop which is nice, but don't get your hopes up because it's a tiny, above ground pool. Upo...

We stayed here because of the proximity to friends and the airport. The old city of Chiang Mai is 30 minutes away. Hotel provided airport transportation and adequate breakfast. (Make sure you ask for espresso or you get instant.) Staff was very helpful. Large room, comfortable king sized bed with interesting room decor. The road was a little loud if you are a lig...

Off the beaten path, but a cozy stopover if you're on the way to or from the Chiang Mai airport. A brand new boutique hotel, quite nicely appointed with pleasant staff but if you are planning to stroll to the old city, the Night Bazaar, or other points of popular interest make transportation arrangements ahead of time or through the hotel. Many taxi and tuk-tuk drivers...

My cousin and I stayed at 3 different places during our stay on Thailand. I'd have to say We Terminal was the best out of those 3. As soon as we arrived, the staff was already so helpful with getting our bags and helping bring them up to our room. The room was a very cute, clean, and private dormitory for you and your group. What my cousin and I appreciated even more...

Group of friends in their late 20's and we needed a night near the airport before leaving early the next morning. When we came back to Chiang Mai we had planned to stay more central and we were all happy with that choice. If you need low budget this is a great stop but otherwise wouldn't be a top pick.

De Jasmine Hotel is an excellent wee gem in an otherwise rather quiet neighbourhood in Chiang Mai. It's only 10 minutes to the airport and the old city square, but conveniently tucked away from all the noise and hustle and bustle of the city. The staff are very friendly. It is rare to get such exceptional customer service in Thailand. Would happily stay there again...

Good service from staff, my husband was vegetarian and asked staff for help to inform the kitchen for vegetable food. About breakfast we already knew for one dish (cost 50 Baht, but our booking includes BF), it was not full enough for us. But we bought more food from 7-11.

Basic but quality stay and the price was right. It would be easy enough to walk to/from the airport if you could be bothered. Walking in the other direction from the airport right next to the hotel there's a number of upmarket eateries and bars, and a bit further before 7/11 there's a number of lower class bars with the Chiang Mai University waitresses that live off se...

Everything was perfect. Only problem was payment was not through Agoda (maybe because we booked in an hour of arriving) on my payment sheet but it did also mention it - we swapped a passport to wait and see if payment went through, then paid at the end of our stay and swapped back passport. Would definitely return - loved that it was quiet, loved the bed. loved the air...

Located between airport and old city!! 7/11 and Big C in walking distance, Walking distance to old city!! Hotel is clean.. staffs were very polite except in reception. Thai and continental breakfast available.. There's pool and gym but you have to pay for it. Hotel is spacious with garden and beautiful environment. We stayed in 2 different rooms, new superior and supe...

A hidden gem very close to the Airport with good access to all of Chiang Mai. It is a very traditional modern property with a local feel. The facilities, are clean and very well managed at all hours of the day. The breakfast buffet exceeds expectations in scope and variety, and good for a quick get away in the morning.
Cheap places to stay in Chiang Mai Airport

We stayed here for one night whilst in Chiang Mai. The hostel is a 5-10 minute walk from the Old City and the night markets / food stalls. Despite its location, we both had a peaceful nights sleep as it’s down a small side street, so there is minimal noise. Even though it was a last minute booking, we had a good room, with air con on the first floor with a shared bathr...

I stayed at Fellow Hostel the night before I left Chiang Mai because it is very close to the airport. It was right next to the CentralPlaza (mall) with many dining options. The curtains around the beds give some privacy, even in an 8 bed dorm. If you like to explore on foot, I might not recommend Fellow Hostel for your whole stay because it is a bit far from the old...

This is one of a cluster of hostels on the perifary of Chiang Mai Airport and shopping mall complex. We found it very clean well maintained and the endless supply of chilled bottled water a very welcome bonus. Perfect landing pad for arrival or departure. The double room with aircon we had was without doubt the comfiest night's sleep we've had whilst travelling in Th...

thanks for the plesent stay in your great hostel. it is really clean, modern and quite new and everyone is really friendly. we did book the wrong date but they still kept us there without any trouble :) it is also very close to the airport and a great Shopping mall and chiang mai is accessible within 10 minutes. rooms are quite small but got everything needed. highly r...

The owners are absolutely fantastic, they were so helpful and nice I really can't thank them enough. I will certainly stay here again if I'm ever in Chiang Mai in the future. Located close to the airport but surrounding area has all local amenities you could require and the hotel owners even offered a free bike to get around. The room was clean and nice with a balcony ...

It's a great little place to stay but only within context. If your goal is to stay in Chiang Mai for a good price and you want to be close the airport then this is your place (10mins exactly to the airport). There's a little restaurant next door that's pretty good. Owner is speaks great English and is very helpful. If your goal is to see the sights, markets, etc and...

Nee and Tum are such amazing hosts. Their hospitality is unbelievably amazing. Both of them are very kind and very knowledgeable about the beautiful area of Chiang Mai, Pai & Beyond. The room looks just as good, maybe even better than the photos. They has really considered the little touches that make a difference to our stay and we loved the local stories that they s...

I booked this room on the last night of my stay in Chiang Mai because I wanted to be at the airport just after 4am. It's about a 20 minute walk so that was perfect for me. There is also a full size Tesco Lotus a few hundred meters down the street. There was nobody at reception when I arrived just after 1 but I called one of the posted phone numbers and someone came ...

We spent 3 nights in Noble Homestay. Even the cheapest room has aircon, fridge, hot water. And cleaning is everyday, and everyday you have fresh towels (really nice for 1-star hotel!!) Staff don’t speak any English but we hadn’t any misunderstandings. Walking distance (1,1km) to Old city. Highly recommended !

The hotel is about 2.5 KM to Chiang Mai Airport. If you need to leave for an early morning flight, this hotel is recommended. Please tell the reception to call for a taxi in advance. Because there is no staff during early morning. Their rooms are pretty basic and clean enough. Their toiletries are only bar soap and sachets of shampoo. The hotel is value for money for o...

Close to airport. I took a taxi as its late night but walkable. I checked in very late. But it was smooth as I spoke with him in advance. Only thing I could not understand was that there was no difference between safe box and single room. I got a safe box but paid more as I chose a single room. According to the staff, it is the same. So u may book the cheapest out of ...

This is a basic hotel great for a stopover for a few days, or if you're traveling with a vehicle. It's very close, 15 minute walking distance, to the airport, Central Mall Chiang Mai, and the Immigration office for visa extension or 90day check in (although now that portion is off site while remodeling but within an easy taxi or personal drive). If you don't have a veh...

Stayed for a total of 5 days. Came back a few times throughout my stay here in Chiang Mai. The place is clean and it comes with free flow of bananas, coffee and cookies. Most importantly, the staffs here are just simply amazing. It felt like i am back home when i am away from home. Definitely recommended. I have been travelling for some time and this is one of the best...

I reserved the room online prior to my trip. I don't think it was necessary and found out, after I arrived, that the price when you walk-in is different than if you book online (cheaper when you walk in). Over all very nice hotel about 10 or so minutes walking distance from the mall/airport. The bed is HUGE, aircon was quiet, I had an LCD TV (not in all rooms, appar...

It’s located nearby end of airport runway, so pretty noise when it’s airplane takeoff. The room were comfort with huge size and new furniture. But the water so slow, the pillow also very thick and uncomfortable. Wifi is good and clean for anything inside. Hotel just finished renovation.

This is the second hotel we try in chiang mai. For comparison with the previous one, the standard and quality is much higher; at half the price. The location is accessible and GRAB never goes over 100 baht to the hot locations in the city. It's at a walking distance from a huge and affordable food court at the shopping mall plaza as well as a nearby 7-11. The room is r...

Luxury hotels in Chiang Mai Airport

It is not a hotel, It is a Condo/Apartment.... Everything is 100% EXCEPT AGODA...... AGODA identified this booking as "Deluxe Pool View Room (Gym/Pool/Double" In Place of "Hotel Name"..... Highly Recommended place to stay in Chiang Mai! Near the airport, mall, local markets, restaurants etc. Very friendly & most helpful staff (most spoke good english).
